In Paul's day some thought he couldn't be an apostle ... Why?

* In Paul's day, many people thought Paul could not be an apostle. (I Corinthians 9:2)

 

* Peter sets the qualifications for the apostle who would replace Judas.  The 12th apostle was Matthias, not Paul.  (Acts 1:26)

 

* Paul was not the last apostle.  Paul was among the first of those apostles given to the church by Jesus after HE arose. 

 

Eph. 4:8;11-12  After Jesus arose ... He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; ... for the work of the ministry.
