The end of the world: The sun and moon stop shining, the stars fall from heaven... Jesus says, "Be ready"

A woman in our church group had the following dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a new TV.  She was "ready" and was waiting for her husband at their car.  (He was not ready.)  All of a sudden, the sun turned completely dark!  She said it was terrifying even though she knew Bible and knew what that meant.  (Jesus would return through the sky soon to gather the elect of God to take the elect to the New Heaven and New earth which God has created for us.  (Rev. 21:1-5) )

 

She started to run back into their house but then she knew that would do no good so she just fell down on her knees calling on the name of Jesus.

44   Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Acts 2 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:15 For these (men) are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

 

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

 

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of MY Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of MY Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

 

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

 

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

 

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The apostle Peter tells us in the Bible how we are to live as we wait for the return of Jesus:

 

2 Peter 3:10-14  (Peter says)

 

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

 

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

 

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

 

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

 

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
