By this verse we are warned to remember to check with God, asking HIM for HIS wisdom concerning our plans.
 
James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

There will be much deception in the end times.
 
And we must always remember to pray because God knows the future!

Enter into rest by trusting in God and ceasing from your own works

All scripture is given by inspiration of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)

No man knows the day or hour Jesus will return but we do know seasons.
 
As the wickedness increases by people of this world and as the churches cast aside scripture, we know the end is soon.
 
We are made "wise" unto salvation by the Holy Scripture, the Word of God.
 
2 Timothy 3:16-17  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
 
17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Jesus is The Word and The Word is Jesus.
 
If we cast aside The Word, we cast aside Jesus.

Perverted:  To turn from the way of God and go another way.
 
To turn from Jesus the Word, to gain perceived rewards on this earth is death to you and all who are around you.

The Old Testament contains "The Law of Moses" which the people went by until the birth of Jesus.
 
With the resurrection of Jesus came the new covenant and the New Testament which replaced the Law of Moses.  However there are many promises of God in the Old Testament which still pertain to us today.
 
But it is the sacrifice of Jesus which paid for our sins today by HIS shed blood.  So we no longer sacrifice animals for sins as they did in the Old Testament.
 
Hebrews 8
 
6 But now hath HE obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also HE (JESUS) is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
 
7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
 
8 For finding fault with them, HE saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
 
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in MY covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Now in the New Testament church we follow the laws of God set forth in the New Testament scriptures.
 
The New Testament Bible is our only doctrine.  We follow that which is in the New Testament Bible.  The doctrines of Christ are in the New Testament Bible.  We have no other doctrine for today's churches!
 
The apostate churches remove some of the scriptures of the New Testament Bible and teach other doctrines to their followers.  They will be destroyed when Jesus returns.
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day  (of the Lord)  shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
 
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures".
 
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:
 
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
 
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

Overcoming Through God In Dealing With Cancer

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September, 2022, after surgery to have a tumor removed.
 
As I drove into the urologist's parking lot for an appointment a few days after surgery to learn the pathologist's findings, a very terrifying fear came over me.  I called out to God, asking for help.  The Holy Spirit immediately reminded me of Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.  As I focused on this scripture I was greatly calmed and comforted, even as the urologist presented the pathologist's report.
 
The urologist told me I had cancer and that the cancer was "high grade, muscle invasive".  He  referred me to a specialist/surgeon in Denver.  
 
(I live about 50 miles south of Denver in Colorado Springs.)
 
This specialist told me that without treatment, I would be dead in 1 year, maybe 2 years at most.  She prescribed 4 chemo treatments, 2 weeks apart, then wait a month, then have surgery to remove my bladder at the end of December, 2022, or first part of January, 2023.
 
Chemotherapy wasn't a concern to me, but having my bladder removed troubled me a lot!  Needing to deal for the rest of my life with some way for my body to function without the natural bladder was a big concern.
 
I didn't mention to anyone that I didn't want to have this bladder-removal surgery, but I talked with God about it, laying all my concerns out to HIM.
 
And I asked God if there might be some way I could be spared this surgery.
 
I didn't know what God's will was in this, so I just waited to be shown if I should do anything different than what the specialist/surgeon in Denver recommended.

About 10 days later I was given a dream.  In this dream I was considering not having bladder removal.  (When I was given this dream, I had no idea there were any treatment options other than bladder removal.)
 
The following evening I was reviewing some information the chemo pharmacist had given me about the various drugs that would be administered and their possible side effects and what I might do to minimize side effects. I wanted to make sure I had everything on hand that might be needed before the chemo began the following day. 
 
When I got through all the drug information, there was one piece of paper left.  It was a sheet the pharmacist had included from the American Society of Clinical Oncology about bladder cancer.  I was  casually reading this when the following jumped out at me ...
 
"An approach using chemotherapy with radiation therapy may provide the same benefits as bladder removal."
 
I felt this might be an answer to my prayer about being spared bladder-removal surgery and asked God to please show me if this was not the case.  I was not shown anything.
 
But I didn't know how to go about changing my treatment plan, having no idea who to talk with about radiation therapy.  So I asked God how to do this and kept having the specialist/surgeon in Denver brought to my mind.   I sent her a note.
 
The next morning her nurse called to setup a time the following week for me to meet with the physician assistant who works with this doctor in Denver.
 
A few days before this appointment, I woke in the night with the words "virtual meeting" going through my mind. I didn't know why I had been awakened with those words, but the following day I found out. When I took our car to a mechanic for a wheel alignment, he determined that the car had damage which made it unsafe to drive! It would take about a week to get the needed parts to fix car.
 
I immediately thought of the appointment in Denver and began considering how I could get there. Then I was reminded of having heard the words "virtual meeting" in the night.  I called the doctor's office and was able to easily change the meeting with the physician assistant to be a virtual meeting. So much easier than driving to Denver, yet totally sufficient for what was needed.
 
Most of all, it was very comforting to see this example of God watching over my situation and helping me, even before I knew there was a need.
 
(Isaiah 65:24   And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.)
 
During the virtual meeting, the physician assistant told me that I'm not a good candidate for chemo with radiation and reasons this was the case.  But interestingly, she then said she could make a referral for me to talk with a radiation oncologist in Colorado Springs where I live.  She said she had heard very good things about this radiation oncologist who had been trained at the Mayo clinic.  I asked the physician assistant to please make that referral.
 
A few days before meeting with the radiation oncologist I had a dream.  In this dream a man was sitting next to me as I met with the radiation oncologist.  It was as if the man was there to support and help me.
 
When I woke from the dream I was reminded of various scriptures I had been given in which God says HE will be with me and help me and never leave me, such as:
 
Hebrews 13:5-6 .... for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
 
Isaiah 41:10, 13  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of MY righteousness.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
 
When I met with the radiation oncologist she said that I'm not an "ideal" candidate for radiation with chemo and told me why.  But she went on to say that if, after considering these things, I decided to go this way, she would set it up.

Then I met with the chemo doctor.  He warned that the chemo given with radiation therapy for bladder cancer is harder on the body than the initial chemo I had been given and that I might need a blood transfusion and possibly need to be hospitalized.
 
(By the time appointments with the various medical people had been scheduled and held to change the treatment plan, I had had 3 of the chemo treatments initially recommended in preparation for bladder removal.) 
 
The chemo doctor then asked if I had peace about making this change in treatments.  I told him I had prayed and asked God if there was any way I could be spared bladder removal.  After that, I saw the information provided by the pharmacist about chemo with radiation, and I felt this was an answer to my prayer.  He asked if I am a Christian and I told him I am.  He said he is as well.  He then said since I had peace about making this change, he would setup this kind of chemo and coordinate it with the radiation oncologist, and that he would prescribe things to help me get through this chemo as easily as possible.

After meeting with the various medical people, we stopped the first kind of chemo and the doctors started setting everything up for chemo with radiation.
 
The chemotherapy with radiation therapy began in mid-December, 2022, and was completed in January, 2023. 
 
Interestingly, the chemo with radiation turned out to be easier for me, not harder as the chemo doctor expected.  I had no serious problems, mostly just fatigue.  But even the fatigue wasn't as much as with the first chemo.  And radiation was no problem at all.

After the treatments were completed, two procedures were scheduled to be done in April, 2023, to see if there were any signs of the cancer.
 
Everything seemed to be going fine.  But then not long after these procedures were scheduled, fearful thoughts suddenly came, such as "What if the tests show more cancer?"
 
I was very shaken and turned to God for help, and was given the concept of resting in having done what I had been led to do by God, resting in HIM, in HIS word to me in this matter.   For God will work everything according to HIS purpose for me.  I just need to go in the way I believe HE is leading me.
 
Hebrews 4:3 ... For we which have believed do enter into rest,
 
Romans 8:28  And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

I was also given a dream in which I was at the urologist's office to have a scope procedure.  At another point in the dream there were 2 bags with what looked like yard waste in them.  The bags were being examined by scientists or doctors who were looking for disease.  No disease was found.
 
When I woke from this dream I prayed about what this dream might mean to me and especially what the 2 bags represented.  The next morning, I was reminded of the 2 upcoming procedures and felt God was showing me that no disease would be found during the procedures in April, 2023.

The first procedure was done on Friday, April 14, 2023, by the urologist looking inside my bladder using a scope.
 
The urologist started out by saying that his understanding is that I had gone to see the specialist/surgeon in Denver and it sounded like I wasn't "keen" on having my bladder removed. I laughed and told him that was correct.
 
He went on to explain that with the scope he would be checking to see if the chemo had done what was needed, but that if he found a problem it could probably be taken care of with a more minor surgery than was needed the previous September. (I felt he was trying to prepare me for him finding a problem.)
 
But as he looked at my bladder, he said "This looks great!"  He said this at least 3 times as he checked various things in the bladder. He did find a small red area, but said nothing needs to be done about that at this time. He'll just "monitor" it.
 
Overall, he seemed surprised as he said "This looks great!"
 
The second procedure, a CT scan, was done on Wednesday, April 19.  No sign of cancer was found.
 
I kept being reminded of the dream I had in which the 2 bags of waste were being examined by doctors or scientists. They were looking for disease but found none.

Another "word" about the outcome of this cancer was an open vision given by God to Joan Boney in September, 2022.  In this vision she saw something like a lumpy mass on the wall in the corner.  But it shrank with a "swooshing" sound,  and suddenly, it was gone.  She felt this had to do with my cancer.

All along the way, God has been helping me, especially when I have turned to HIM with fearful thoughts.  
 
I am especially grateful to God for showing me a way to be spared bladder removal surgery!
 
It is amazing to me that God worked it out for the various medical people to go along with what I believe HE showed me to do in changing from "chemo with bladder removal" to "chemo with radiation therapy".  
 
Although five medical people felt this was not the best way for me to go, they all agreed to this change in treatment.  
 
And as I recall the urologist saying "This looks great!" as he looked at my bladder, I am thankful to God for all HE has done in this.

Updates: 
 
Tests were again done in August-September, 2023.  No cancer was found.
 
Tests were again done in February-March, 2024.  Again, no cancer was found.  At that time the urologist, who had referred me to the specialist/surgeon in Denver in September, 2022, told me that choosing to not have bladder removal surgery was obviously the right decision and that bladder removal would have been "life changing".  I agree!
 
Tests were again done in September, 2024.  No cancer was found.  After these tests, the urologist said that everything looked very good so the next scope procedure could be done in a year.

Matthew 12  (Jesus says)
 
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
 
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
 
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
 
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
 
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Speculation of humans can be filled with evil thinking.
 
Also when we tell what we have heard, if what we heard was wrong, we can be accountable for spreading false witness.
 
To try to explain what is happening, giving reasons, is also very dangerous.
 
In his wisdom from God Solomon said:
 
Proverbs 26:16
 
The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit than seven men that can render a reason.
 
(I'm learning to stop giving a reason unless I'm sure I've heard from God.)

Being wise in her own eyes was part of the downfall of Eve.
 
Genesis 3
 
1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
 
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
 
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
 
(Eve added to the Word of God.  God did not say, "Neither shall ye touch it.")
 
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
 
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
 
(Humans greatly desire to be as gods, explaining "why" something happened.)
 
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
 
(People want other people to see them as being "wise" without God.)

People also want to take pride in other humans.
 
But when I tell what God said or did, they often want to run away from me.
 
Give glory to God!  Show HIS word and HIS work.
 
John 16:13-14  (Jesus said)
 
13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
 
14 He (the Holy Spirit) shall glorify ME (the Word): for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.

John 7:18  (Jesus said)   He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh HIS glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.

When I know I'm going to be with other people, I often pray asking God to have me speak only what HE wants me to speak.
 
And from the time that God started training me to work as a minister, HE showed me not to plan anything.  Just step out on stage and speak that which the Holy Spirit brought to my mind, scripture or example.  And God taught me to write this way on blog and record this way on Podcasts.
 
My example was the apostle Paul:
 
I Corinthians 2  (Paul says:)
 
1 And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
 
2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and HIM crucified.
 
3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
 
4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
 
5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

The ”falling away” in churches in the end time

Another scripture God opened my eyes to see, is II Thessalonians 2. 
 
The apostle Paul says:
 
II Thessalonians 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first,
 
I saw the "falling away" was that the church group would "fall away" from scripture, allowing strange doctrines to take the place of the Bible, opening the door for antichrist, the man of lawlessness, to move into the church.

God showed me many things about how HE leads us today as HIS people in the NT church.
 
Jesus said:
 
John 14:26    But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
John 16:13    Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
 
We see by these two scriptures, the Holy Spirit, who lives in each believer, does the following for the child of God.
 
- HE teaches us all things- HE reminds us of the WORD- HE guides us into all truth- HE shows us things to come
 
The Holy Spirit does all this by bringing thoughts to our minds. These thoughts show us the way to go and show us the will of God for us in that exact issue with which we are currently dealing.
 
The thoughts HE brings can be concepts, both secular and spiritual ... or HE reminds us of scripture which we need to consider at the moment.
 
God watches over each of us constantly.  God leads us in the way of righteousness and leads us into positions which cause us to prosper and have good success in everything we do.
 
God does this through HIS Spirit, by showing us what to do by bringing thoughts into our minds to show us.
 
When we go forward in that shown us by the Spirit, following the concept or scripture given by the Spirit, we go in the will of God for the Spirit of God knows the heart of God and shows us what God thinks about our current situation and what we should do.  I Corinthians 2
 
There is a problem however.  Sometimes our own desire can overrule the concept shown us by the Spirit and in such cases we end up following what we want and resisting that which is shown us by the Spirit.
 
Other times the devil enters in by bringing us a way that would end up destroying us.
 
So we must know how to tell if the thought is from God, or if the thought is from our own desire, or if the thought is from devil.
 
Then we deliberately choose that shown us by God.
 
It sounds like we would always choose that shown us by God, but sometimes God will show us to go in a way we do not want to go.  Then we have to make a decision whether or not we will follow that way which is shown us by God.
 
I've been tested a great many times.  Here is an example.
 
The Holy Spirit called to my attention the following scripture:
 
Ephesians 4:29    Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
 
I thought on the instruction given in this scripture and began trying to do what it said.  I kept this scripture before me day and night to allow the scripture to grow in me and cause me to do what it says.
 
During this time, I was visiting with my neighbors at their house.  It was during the USA presidential elections.  I am non political but two candidates that year were of interest to me and apparently this interest had grown in my heart for I very much wanted to say, "And what do you think of the election?"
 
But the Holy Spirit brought to my mind the scripture in Ephesians 4:29 ... Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
 
- If I speak about the election, will people be edified in the ways of God?- Will my words stir up good or evil?
 
But amazingly I wanted so very much to speak of this election.
 
I chose not to speak of this and instead I chose to follow that which the Holy Spirit brought to my mind and I left my neighbor's house without speaking of the election.
 
But I was really surprised in how strongly my flesh was trying to get me to do what it wanted.
 
If we feed our flesh it will get stronger.  I suspect I had been watching news reports more than usual and it fed my flesh on this matter.
 
It is also amazing how little this election affected us in USA.  This happened about 20 years ago and I can't see that my life was affected at all by the outcome of that election.
 
But my life is very much affected by whether I choose that which the Holy Spirit shows me.
 
If we are going to move into righteousness, prosperity, and good success ... we are going to have to choose to follow that brought to our minds by the Holy Spirit.
 
Often that way causes us to "suffer in the flesh" for our flesh wants to go according to its desire and when we choose to go the way shown us by Holy Spirit, our flesh cannot rule over us and it suffers as a result.
 
It is easy to see this when we recall how much we wanted to go in ways of the flesh, ways of fornication or adultery or drunkenness or hatred when we were younger.
 
Did we follow the flesh and do those things or did we follow the Spirit and refuse to do those things? 💥💥💥💥💥

Sins in churches today

The apostle Paul tells us in the Bible what to do when we encounter a "brother" at the church committing a sin.
 
I Corinthians 5
 
1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
 
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
 
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
 
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
 
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
 
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
 
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
 
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
 
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
 
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
 
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? (Those without the church) do not ye judge them that are within?
 
(We should not judge the world.  We do judge those of the church because they are "within," expected to know the doctrines of Christ and obey the commandments of God written in the NT Bible.)
 
13 But them that are without God judgeth. 
 
Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked (church) person.

God's yoke is easy and HIS burden is light. (Matthew 11:30)

As a new Christian in 1975, God showed me this concept.  You can measure the plan God gives by HIS plan is "easy".  His plan is not overly difficult to do.  His plan is not overly costly.  His plan is not overly complex. 
 
James 3  14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.
 
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
 
18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Troubles ahead!

God shows me by the Bible various end time troubles.
 
2 Timothy 3
 
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
 
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
 
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
 
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
 
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
 
(They often attend churches and say they are Christians but fail to follow that which God tells them for they do not have the Spirit.  They put themselves into a church by will of man but are not born again.  Paul says, "From such turn away.")
 
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
 
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
 
8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

The devil is a liar and there is no truth in the destructive thoughts that he brings to our mind

The devil brings thoughts to our mind to steal, to kill, and to destroy us.
 
When such thoughts come, we must learn to resist these thoughts, knowing they are of devils.
 
One way to evaluate such thoughts is to take each destructive thought to God in prayer, asking HIM:  "What about this, God?"

John 8:44  (Jesus says:)  He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
 
The devil will eat you alive with thoughts if you allow this to happen.
 
I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith,

Psalm 23

1 (When) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
* A few days ago, I found something to be difficult.  When I laid the issue out before God and told HIM how I felt and ask HIM what I was supposed to do about "this", HE gave me an idea.  When I did what HE showed me it worked!  When I pour out the issue before God, HE helps me and then there is no want.
*  It is my assignment from God to edify the church on blogs and on Podcasts and in books. I had just finished a long project in the Book of Proverbs.  I didn't have anything else to say.  When I took the matter to God, HE showed me what to do next.  And I found there was plenty of green pastures for the sheep to strengthen themselves.  And God showed me exactly what to write and which exhortations to present.
* If I find empty time in my day and don't seem to have purpose ahead of me, when I talk to God about the "lack" HE brings ideas to fill my time and to satisfy me, leading me in the way to go.
When I turn to God with the issue and make the Lord my shepherd, there is no want.
The problems come when I'm not exhorting the church, not engaged in doing my assignment.  Then I begin to get bored and wander from channel to channel on TV finding no thing that is of real interest.  (Trying to put myself in some pasture and finding little to nothing of interest.) When I begin talking to God, making HIM my shepherd, HE leads me to green pastures which are satisfying to me.
If I turn on the TV, I often see turbulent waters.  When I turn to God, we come upon waters that are still, calm, peaceful.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: 
When I turn to God after having been with other people or having been disturbed by reports of happenings going on in this world, I pray what David prayed ...
Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
I know God can do that for me.  I wouldn't know what to do to restore my soul.  But each time I turn to God for HIM to cleanse my heart and restore my soul, HE knows exactly what I need and HE always helps me ... cleaning the spots from the sayings of the world off my garment, and setting me at peace again when I turn to HIM.
HE leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for HIS name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for THOU art with me; THY rod and thy staff they comfort me.
God uses HIS word to keep me on HIS road so I will not fall off into the ditch.  The key for me is always HIS words.  When I focus on HIS Word which HE gives me, I am stilled, calm, at peace, and restored to truth.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Enter ye in at the strait gate

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
 
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

There are many doors to destruction.
 
I Corinthians 6:9-10  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
 
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

When a person dies, I often think, "And what NOW?"
 
Those who hate "the Word" often call the Bible legalistic.
 
They think they should be free to do that which they want to do.
 
This is one of the many gates to destruction.
 
The Word is the way of life and "few" there be that find it.

God once said to me:  "Many want to be free to sin."
 
"Few want to be free from sin."
 
Following "the Word" makes us free from sin.
 
The Word says:
 
Concerning fornication:
 
💥  Flee fornication.  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  (I Cor. 6:18)
 
💥  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE (The Word), shall be one flesh.  (I Cor. 6:16)  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two are made one even when you have sex with a prostitute.
 
Concerning divorce and remarriage:
 
💥  But I (the Word) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.  (Mt. 5:32)
 
* The man who divorces "a faithful wife", causes her to commit adultery if she remarries.
 
* The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
 
💥  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.  (I Cor. 7:10-11)  This is a commandment of the Lord.  The divorced woman has 2 choices:  remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband
 
💥  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.  (I Cor. 7:39)
 
💥  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. (Romans 7:2-3)
 
*  The only time a married woman is free to remarry is if her husband dies.  Otherwise she will commit adultery and the man who marries her, as a divorced woman, will commit adultery.
 
💥  And HE (the Word) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.
 
12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.  (Mark 10:11-12)  And the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 5:32)

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
 
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
 
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
 
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
 
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
 
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
 
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
 
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
 
They were not born homosexual or lesbian, but the Word says God gave them over to these "vile affections".
 
The Word says: But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  (Mk.10:6)

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
 
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
 
Without natural affections:  Mothers killing their own babies.  Abortion ... and homosexuals & lesbians.

God gave a prophecy to the prophet Ezekiel concerning the New Testament Church and those who are born again.
 
Ezekiel 36  God says:
 
23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
 
24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
 
25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
 
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
 
27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them.

The end time ”falling away” spoken of by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2

In the Bible, the apostle Paul told us in the end time churches would fall away from scripture, speaking perverse things, (Acts 20:29-30), and men would set themselves up as gods in the church. (2 Thessalonians 2)
 
This is that spirit of antichrist that moves into church groups and sets up doctrines opposite to doctrines of Christ in the Bible.
 
It is antichrist in the churches of the end times.
 
Acts 20:29-30  (Paul speaking to the elders of the church at Ephesus)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
 
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
 
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
This "falling away" happens before Jesus returns.
 
God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are churches leaving the scriptures."
 
This falling away from scripture has been taking place in various churches for several decades and is all over this world now.
 
The stage is set for the returning of Jesus since the falling away of 2 Thessalonians is happening in churches today all over the world ... churches falling away from various scriptures and setting up doctrines opposite to the scripture in their church groups.
