It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.
No wonder Jesus said: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt. 24:21-22)
We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The devil often causes us to think the other person is wrong and is the problem.
I Peter 5

Hebrews 12:14-15
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Bitterness against another person or thing can come into our hearts as we watch television (especially TV news), as we become "puffed up" over the story and what other people have done.
We must be aware of when this is happening and turn to God immediately in prayer asking God to help us and to cleanse our heart ... for that story that we object to, can be like an evil seed going down into our hearts and later we will hear ourselves speaking the bitterness to other people, possibly defiling them.
Example: A few days ago, I was speaking to a woman and she began speaking about President Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. This woman began to tell negative things, especially about Hunter Biden.
I said to her, "Concerning President Biden I just always fear for him when I see him try to walk to the microphone. He reminds me of the old people at the Bridge Center who go to the food counter, fill their plates, and head back to their table. They are so old and wobbly, I was always afraid they would fall."
As she began telling about Hunter Biden, I shuttered, knowing it was evil and I didn't want to hear it.
I have no illusions in me concerning politicians. I know they have to compromise and say things they really don't believe in order to please people to get that vote.
(And often the children of humans are not godly people so I'm not surprised when they do ungodly things.)
The apostle Paul said: For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Gal. 1:10)
I know how much God has worked with me to have me say things concerning HIM to edify the church when I speak with other people, for it is not my job as a minister of God and servant of Christ to make humans feel good about themselves but rather I speak truth of God that they may repent or be confirmed when they do either evil or good. But you cannot speak things to please men but must speak truth by the Holy Spirit.
I believe every politician says things to get the vote of a human. This causes personal integrity to be compromised and to melt away.
(I am not Republican nor Democratic. I do not vote. I consider myself to be a "stranger and pilgrim" on this earth as the saints did in Heb. 11:9-10 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
As a Christian, I try to keep myself from evils of this world and I turn to God for HIM to keep me and show me what I am to do.
I do sometimes pray for rulers as Paul told us to do: I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; )
I Tim. 2:1-3

So I cautioned the woman who spoke these things to me and God confirmed to her that she must leave politics alone for it was corrupting her own heart. She had hatred in her heart over those things she had heard about these people. It was coming from TV news, I felt. For I was sure she did not personally know these people which she grew to hate and despise.
Each of us have allowed hatred into our hearts from time to time, and we must guard against doing that, to continue as Christians.
We do not support the evil. We do not claim the evil to be "good". We just learn to avoid such things that cause hatred and bitterness in us, and continue with God in pureness, with an uncorrupted heart and mind.
I have to avoid many things of this present life and I abstain from many news stories on TV which I feel dangerous to me.
Proverbs 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

When I fear something evil has gone into my heart, I often pray this:
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
For I know God can cleanse my heart!

For several weeks, at one point in my life, God had me to focus on doing this scripture:
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
When I am talking to another person, often I start to speak something and then evaluate what I want to say by this:
If I speak this, will it edify, build that person up in things and ways of God? Will these words cause "grace" in the hearts of others?
Usually I am stopped from speaking when I do this, and I pray again asking God to cleanse my heart of evil things for God knows the evil when it hides in my heart and God know how to remove that evil that would dwell in me and hurt other people.
The devil will destroy us and others any way we allow him to do so.

I Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Make no mistake. If we participate in that which is evil, the evil will come into our own hearts.
Matthew 12 (Jesus says)
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The judgment seat of Christ:
2 Corinthians 5
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

At the end of this world, God pours out HIS wrath upon the sins committed by the worldly people and the sins committed by the apostate churches who cast aside specific scriptures to be able to do as they pleased on this earth.
The great tribulation of God comes before the end of this world.
Revelation 8 (Plague # 1)
1 And when HE (Jesus) had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
This is followed by 13 more plagues and woes of the great tribulation that is sent by God to judge this earth and the apostate churches.

Proverbs 16
1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the Lord.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
3 Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
4 The Lord hath made all things for Himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil.
7 When a man's ways please the Lord, HE maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

32 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.
33 The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the Lord.

Open visions from God (Part 2)

Several years ago, I had a dream about angels: In the dream I was taken to the place where angels live. I came to a stone bridge and there was a little chubby man standing at the foot of the bridge. (Angels do not have wings. They look like regular men.) He seemed to be the age of late 40's. He said to me, "Hello, Joan." I replied, "You know my name?" He said, "Oh ... every one here knows your name. We've been waiting for you a long time."
When Pam and I were putting together this writing we were in my bedroom. I happened to glance at one of my walls and I saw a vision of that stone bridge and angels dancing over those things Pam and I were writing about the experience she'd had and the doctor's report where the inside of her bladder looked "great". The angels in heaven were rejoicing over what had happened to her!

Another open vision ...
In approximately 2004, a young man (44-years old) travelled to Lubbock, Texas, where I was living at that time. He came to change out sound equipment at my house.
As David was leaving and walking out the back door, he turned and came back to me and said: "I don't know why I'm telling you this but they think I have the physical disease ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). We are going to MD Anderson Hospital in Houston next week for tests."
(My bridge partner had just died from this same disease recently.)
I was horrified at that which David told me about himself.
During the following weeks, I spoke by phone several times and mailed him Biblical information. He lived in East Texas, 600 miles, from where I lived in West Texas but we talked many times by phone over the coming year.
David did have ALS and doctor estimated he would live 2 more years. He had a wife and 2 children, one child a girl, 8 years old, and the other a boy in junior high school.
During that time I was in close communication with David by phone and US mail.
After David became totally paralyzed, God gave me an open vision of David.
💥 I saw David totally healed standing on a golf course. He was very happy and began waiving to me saying, "Come on. Join me. It's great here."
I knew God was showing me David would die.
But God showed me David's spiritual condition and it was similar to this image.
In the vision, David was very happy and things were wonderful for him.
Shortly after God gave me this open vision and information about David, a man named Clay, who worked for David in the Sound Equipment Business came to Lubbock and visited with me.
Clay was a church person and their church had been praying for David to be healed.
Clay was excited when I told him about the vision given to me by God and Clay said, "Don't you think that means David will live and be healed?"
I replied, "No ... David is dying. But his spiritual condition is very good!"
(David died within a few days. I sent a letter to David's wife and children showing them what God had shown me about David's spiritual condition and recommended they read my letter at the funeral to encourage the others who were in the church there.)

Another open vision ...
💥 On December 6, 2018, I fell at my house in Texas and broke my left wrist and left hip. As I was in hospital awaiting surgery, I had a strange vision of one of the women in our church group. She was standing at the foot of my hospital bed staring down at me. She said nothing at all. After a few seconds, she turned with her back to me and walked through the wall into the next room, disappearing. I thought I was having an hallucination from all the drugs they had been giving me.
After surgery they put me into a rehabilitation hospital where I remained for the next 2 1/2 months.
During this time this woman from our church group came to my room and sat down beside my bed and said: "I need to tell you this. I don't care about anyone or anything any more. I no longer read the Bible or blog."
I said: "But if you go this way, what is going to happen with you?"
She stood up and began walking toward the door to my private bath and she said, "I don't want to talk to 'YOU' about this." (and she disappeared into the bathroom and shut the door.)
A nurse entered my room just as this woman went into the bathroom. I cried out: "Don't leave until nurse finishes with me." But while nurse was working on me I saw the bathroom door open and this woman "snuck" out of my room.
I knew devils had been telling her lies. I knew I could prove that to her. But she left my room before I could tell her.
Jesus says; He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:44
The devil had convinced this woman that she didn't care about anyone or anything any more.
But she had a little dog that she really loved.
By that I could have shown her she had taken lies from devils into her heart and what they said to her just was not true.
(Weeks later she apologized and said she was sorry she just had no "charity" at all toward me.")
I knew devils had spoken to her in this and brought great fear to her. She was afraid she would be stuck with caring for me after I was released from hospital and she was overwhelmed with this thought and couldn't do it.
But God had me move from Texas to Colorado to the home of Pam Padgett and she was in charge of helping me and even has a spiritual gift of "helps".
I also realized the vision I had of this woman disappearing from my room in the hospital was not a drug hallucination but was really an open vision from God showing me that which this woman was going to do.
(This woman is back again in our church group.)

When I attended the singles class at Word of Faith Church which I once went to, the teacher of that group always said, at some point in the class, "Does anyone have a word from the Lord. If so you are free to share that word."
God often gave me open visions concerning those in the Bible class and I always shared what God gave me.
Once the teacher who had his own Bible class on a Tuesday night invited me to speak to the class.
As he was leading the singing before the class, I began receiving from God open visions. One vision after another came until there were so many I had to grab a piece of paper and jot them down so I would not forget them. There were 23 or 24 open visions that night!
I don't recall speaking anything to the class except all those visions one at a time!

The first time God gave me an open vision (word of knowledge): I was at a local prayer group. About 10-15 women were praying over something. We were standing in a circle and had our heads bowed and eyes closed as we prayed. God said to me, "Look up." (The women continued praying.)
I looked up and saw something as if it were outlined on the wall in front of me. It was part of a human body.
I said to God, "I know that is part of a human body but I don't know which part."
I heard, "Stomach."
"Oh, yes, It's a Stomach." I remembered the old Pepto-Bismol commercials on TV.
After the women finished praying, I said:
"Does someone have a stomach problem?"
One woman began jumping up and down and shouted: "I do! I do!"
I suppose the women prayed for her.
I was so excited thinking of what God had shown me that I don't remember what happened to her.

Open vision: (Word of knowledge)
Spiritual gifts for the church:
1 Corinthians 12
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
(God shows the spiritual gifts to different individuals in various ways.)
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE will. (As God wills.)
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28 And God hath set some in the church, (to care for the church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments,
diversities of tongues.
Romans 12
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
7 Or ministry (serving), let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
11 If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

After the experience at the prayer group where God showed me a stomach outlined on the wall, God often gave me open visions (word of knowledge) when I attended the Bible class at the church I was attending and sometimes as I sat alone at my home. He would usually show me these visions on a solid wall.
💥 Pam Padgett was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2022. (We were in shock!)
One day as I was sitting in my TV room, I saw something in the corner of the wall. It was a very quick view and seemed to be a "ball-type" mass of something wadded up in the corner of the ceiling of the room. Suddenly it shrank with a "swooshing" sound, and it was gone.
Pam began chemotherapy treatments in 2022. They were planning to remove her bladder after the chemo.
Pam began praying asking God if there was any other way this treatment could be done without removing the bladder.
The chemo pharmacist gave Pam some writings explaining what to expect from chemotherapy treatments. There were over 20 pages of information. After reading these, Pam decided to read an additional page the pharmacist had included which was about bladder cancer treatment in general. On this page there was the following statement which stood out to Pam for it fitted what she had been asking God.
"An approach using chemotherapy with radiation therapy may provide the same benefits as bladder removal."
Pam began asking God if this was the way to go!
A member of our little church group had been trained as a nurse and when she read this statement she said, "Now I have hope!"
Pam asked God how she could deal with her doctors and the medical team who had planned to do surgery to remove bladder, how could she switch to radiation/chemo.
God gave Pam a dream showing her in the medical office speaking to a doctor while a "man" was sitting with Pam. She felt this was a man from God put there with her to assist her in speaking to the medical doctors.
5 of the doctors and their assistants felt the radiation was not "ideal" for Pam's case and the best thing to do was chemo followed by surgical remover of the bladder! But they said they would switch the plan from removal of bladder to radiation/chemo treatments if that is what Pam wanted.

Pam said: Then I met with the chemo doctor. He warned that the chemo given with radiation therapy for bladder cancer is harder on the body than the initial chemo I had been given and that I might need a blood transfusion and possibly need to be hospitalized.
The chemo doctor then asked if I had peace about making this change in treatments. I told him I had prayed and asked God if there was any way I could be spared bladder removal. After that, I saw the information provided by the pharmacist about chemo with radiation, and I felt this was an answer to my prayer. He asked if I am a Christian and I told him I am. He said he is as well. He then said since I had peace about making this change, he would setup this kind of chemo and coordinate it with the radiation oncologist, and that he would prescribe things to help me get through this chemo as easily as possible.
After meeting with the various medical people, we stopped the first kind of chemo and the doctors started setting everything up for chemo with radiation.
The chemotherapy with radiation therapy began in mid-December, 2022 and was completed in January, 2023.
Interestingly, the chemo with radiation turned out to be easier for me, not harder as the chemo doctor expected. I had no serious problems, mostly just fatigue. But even the fatigue wasn't as much as with the first chemo plan. And radiation was no problem at all.

After the chemo with radiation treatments were completed, two procedures were scheduled to be done in April, 2023, to see if there were any signs of the cancer.
Everything seemed to be going fine. But then not long after these procedures were scheduled, fearful thoughts suddenly came to me, such as "What if the tests show more cancer?"
I was very shaken and turned to God for help, and was given the concept of resting in having done what I had been led to do by God, resting in HIM, in HIS word to me in this matter.
For God will work everything according to HIS purpose for me. I just need to go in the way I believe HE is leading me.
Hebrews 4:3 ... For we which have believed do enter into rest,
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

I was also given a dream in which I was at the urologist's office to have a scope procedure. At another point in the dream there were 2 bags with what looked like yard waste in them. The bags were being examined by scientists or doctors who were looking for disease. No disease was found!
When I woke from this dream I prayed about what this dream might mean to me and especially what the 2 bags represented. The next morning, I was reminded of the 2 upcoming procedures and felt God was showing me that no disease would be found during the procedures in April.
The first procedure was done Friday, April 14, 2023, by the urologist looking inside my bladder using a scope.
The urologist started out by saying that his understanding is that I had gone to see the specialist/surgeon in Denver and it sounded like I wasn't "keen" on having my bladder removed. I laughed and told him that was correct.
He went on to explain that with the scope he would be checking to see if the chemo had done what was needed, but that if he found a problem it could probably be taken care of with a more minor surgery than was needed last September. (I felt he was trying to prepare me for him finding a problem.)
But as he looked at my bladder, he said "This looks great!" He said this at least 3 times as he checked various things in the bladder. He did find a small red area, but said nothing needs to be done about that at this time. He'll just monitor it.
Overall, he seemed surprised as he said "This looks great!"
The second procedure, a CT scan, is scheduled for next Wednesday, April 19.
I keep being reminded of the dream I had in which the 2 bags of waste were being examined by doctors or scientists. They were looking for disease but found none.
The cancer was gone.

I was diagnosed with bladder cancer in September, 2022, after surgery to have a tumor removed.
This cancer was considered "high grade" so the urologist referred me to a specialist/surgeon in Denver.
(I live about 50 miles south of Denver in Colorado Springs.)
In October, 2022, this specialist told me I would need 4 chemo treatments, 2 weeks apart, then wait a month, then have surgery to remove my bladder at the end of December, 2022, or first part of January, 2023.
I asked this surgeon what would happen to me if I did not do this treatment. She said: "You will be dead within approximately 2 years."

Chemotherapy wasn't a concern to me, but having my bladder removed troubled me a lot! Needing to deal for the rest of my life with some way for my body to function without the natural bladder was a big concern.
I didn't mention to anyone that I didn't want to have this bladder-removal surgery, but I talked with God about it, laying all my concerns out to HIM.
And I asked God if there might be some way I could be spared this surgery.
I didn't know what God's will was in this, so I just waited to be shown if I should do anything different than what the specialist/surgeon in Denver recommended.

About 10 days later I was reviewing some information the chemo pharmacist had given me about the various drugs that would be administered and their possible side effects and what I might do to minimize side effects. I wanted to make sure I had everything on hand that might be needed before the chemo began the following day.
When I got through all the drug information, there was one piece of paper left. It was a sheet the pharmacist had included from the American Society of Clinical Oncology about bladder cancer. I was casually reading this when the following jumped out at me ...
"An approach using chemotherapy with radiation therapy may provide the same benefits as bladder removal."
I felt this might be an answer to my prayer about being spared bladder-removal surgery and asked God to please show me if this was not the case. I was not shown anything by God to stop me from changing to chemo with radiation therapy.
But I didn't know how to go about changing my treatment plan, having no idea who to talk with about radiation therapy. So I asked God how to do this and kept having the specialist/surgeon in Denver brought to my mind. I sent her a note.
The next morning her nurse called to setup a time for me to meet with the physician assistant who works with this doctor.
When we met, the physician assistant told me that I'm not a good candidate for chemo with radiation and reasons this was the case. But interestingly, she then said she could make a referral for me to talk with a radiation oncologist in Colorado Springs where I live. She said she had heard very good things about this radiation oncologist who had been trained at the Mayo clinic. I asked the physician assistant to please make that referral.
A few days before meeting with the radiation oncologist I had a dream. In this dream a man was sitting next to me as I met with the radiation oncologist. It was as if the man was there to support and help me.
When I woke from the dream I was reminded of various scriptures I had been given in which God says HE will be with me and and help me and never leave me, such as:
Hebrews 13:5-6 .... for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Isaiah 41:10, 13 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
13 For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

When I saw the radiation oncologist she said that I'm not an "ideal" candidate for radiation with chemo and told me why. But she went on to say that if, after considering these things, I decided to go this way, she would set it up.
Then I met with the chemo doctor. He warned that the chemo given with radiation therapy for bladder cancer is harder on the body than the initial chemo I had been given and that I might need a blood transfusion and possibly need to be hospitalized.

Another "word" about the outcome of this cancer was an open vision given by God to Joan Boney in September, 2022. In this vision she saw something like a lumpy mass on the wall in the corner. But it shrank with a "swooshing" sound, and suddenly, it was gone. She felt this had to do with my cancer.

All along the way, God has been helping me, especially when I have turned to HIM with fearful thoughts.
I am especially grateful to God for showing me a way to be spared bladder removal surgery!
It is amazing to me that God worked it out for the various medical people to go along with what I believe HE showed me to do in changing from "chemo with bladder removal" to "chemo with radiation therapy".
Although five medical people felt this was not the best way for me to go, they all agreed to this change in treatment.
And as I recall the urologist this past Friday saying "This looks great!" as he looked at my bladder, I am thankful to God for all HE has done in this.

The world often judges backward

They say: Adultery and fornication is not against the law. But they forget it is against the law of God.
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.
What is important? Man's judgment against you? Or God's judgment against you?

At the time of sexual intercourse, the two become one flesh, even if the sex is with a prostitute.
How then do you separate the one flesh?
The apostle Paul explains:
I Corinthians 6
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

This is such a wonderful verse.
By this verse we are warned to remember to check with God, asking HIM for HIS wisdom concerning our plans.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Also ask God to stop us if the plan is wrong.
There will be much deception in the end times.
And we must always remember to pray because God knows the future!

In the beginning, God created them male and female. All you had to do was to look at the baby to see if that baby was male or female!

Here is what God says in the Holy Bible:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

But one little library in a desolate area of Texas says we will close rather than put those books on our shelves.
The righteous judgment is almost vanished from the earth but here we see people holding out against antichrist and the beast of Revelation.
Judgment is refreshing to those who love God. But it is rarely seen today for humans are evil and will not judge righteously, but eventually God will judge and it will be in HIS righteousness.

2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
7 The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
8 The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
9 They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
10 The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.

19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited (judged).
23 Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.

God will destroy this heaven and earth with fire:
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

With HIS coming Jesus will awaken those who sleep in Christ and Jesus will send HIS angels to remove HIS elect from the earth before God destroys this heaven and earth with fire.
Matthew 24 (Jesus says)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.
No wonder Jesus said: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt. 24:21-22)
We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

I Corinthians 10:6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Balaam was of God and God spoke to him and directed him and he had powers of God. But Balaam lusted after things of this world. The king of Moab, Balak, was afraid of the great number of the children of Israel and he had heard of the way God caused them to conquer other people of the land. So he sent to Balaam to get him to "curse" the children of Israel.
Numbers 22
1 And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in the plains of Moab on this side Jordan by Jericho.
2 And Balak the son of Zippor saw all that Israel had done to the Amorites.
3 And Moab was sore afraid of the people (of the children of Israel), because they were many: and Moab was distressed because of the children of Israel.
4 And Moab said unto the elders of Midian, Now shall this company lick up all that are round about us, as the ox licketh up the grass of the field. And Balak the son of Zippor was king of the Moabites at that time.
5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they abide over against me:
6 Come now therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people; for they are too mighty for me: peradventure I shall prevail, that we may smite them, and that I may drive them out of the land: for I wot that he whom thou blessest is blessed, and he whom thou cursest is cursed.
7 And the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the rewards of divination in their hand; and they came unto Balaam, and spake unto him the words of Balak.
8 And he (Balaam) said unto them, Lodge here this night, and I will bring you word again, as the LORD shall speak unto me: and the princes of Moab abode with Balaam.

9 And God came unto Balaam, and said, What men are these with thee?
(What are these men doing with you? This is not right.)
10 And Balaam said unto God, Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, hath sent unto me, saying,
11 Behold, there is a people come out of Egypt, which covereth the face of the earth: come now, curse me them; peradventure I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
12 And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.
(This should have been the end of the matter. But Balaam's heart was not right with God.)

(The king of Moab sends even more honorable men to Balaam to try to persuade him to curse the people of God.)
Numbers 22
13 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and said unto the princes of Balak, Get you into your land: for the LORD refuseth to give me leave to go with you.
14 And the princes of Moab rose up, and they went unto Balak, and said, Balaam refuseth to come with us.
15 And Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honourable than they.
(Balaam should not have let these men in to his presence since he knew already what God thought about the situation ... But he wanted the reward from man ... So he sought the will of God, "Perhaps God will change HIS mind" ... )
16 And they came to Balaam, and said to him, Thus saith Balak the son of Zippor, Let nothing, I pray thee, hinder thee from coming unto me:
17 For I will promote thee unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever thou sayest unto me: come therefore, I pray thee, curse me this people.
(Balaam said the right thing but his heart was not with God. He wanted to go with the Moabites.)
18 And Balaam answered and said unto the servants of Balak, If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the word of the LORD my God, to do less or more.
19 Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the LORD will say unto me more.

(Balaam asks God a second time to let him go with the men of Moab.)
Numbers 22
20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do.
21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.
22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him.
(Thou shall not tempt the Lord thy God for HE might turn you loose to do your own desire.)

Numbers 22
23 And the ass saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the way.
24 But the angel of the LORD stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.
25 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote her again.
(This was an opportunity for Balaam to see that perhaps it was not a good idea for him to go with the men of Moab. Things were not going well in the way he was going. But Balaam wanted the reward from the king of Moab. Balaam's heart was never with God.)

Numbers 22
26 And the angel of the LORD went further, and stood in a narrow place, where was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.
27 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff.
28 And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?
29 And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee.
30 And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.

Numbers 22
31 Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he (Balaam) bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face.
32 And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me:
(perverse: turned away from the right way of God)
33 And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
(The righteous will be saved and those turned away from God will be slain by God.)

Numbers 22
34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way against me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again.
(The ass saw but Balaam was so consumed with things of this world he could not see things of God. Balaam's heart was not right with God. He pretended to love God but he loved things of man.)
Is your heart really right with God? Can you see things of God? Or does your own desire block you so that all you can see is your desire?
35 And the angel of the LORD said unto Balaam, Go with the men: but only the word that I shall speak unto thee, that thou shalt speak. So Balaam went with the princes of Balak.

After this, 3 times the king set it up for Balaam to curse the people of God but three times Balaam ended up blessing the people of God.
Numbers 22
37 And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?
Numbers 23
4 And God met Balaam: and he (Balaam) said unto HIM (To God), I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.
5 And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.
6 And he returned unto him (to the king of Moab), and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.
7 And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
8 How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?
9 For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!

11 And Balak (the king) said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.
12 And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?
13 And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.
(And Balaam went with the king again even though God had told him he could not curse the people of God.)

Numbers 23
14 And he (the king) brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
15 And he (Balaam) said unto Balak (the king), Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder.
16 And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.
17 And when he (Balaam) came to him (the king), behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him.
And Balak (the king of Moab) said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken?
18 And he (Balaam) took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:
19 God is not a man, that HE should lie; neither the son of man, that HE should repent: hath HE said, and shall he not do it? or hath HE spoken, and shall HE not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and HE hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
21 HE hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath HE seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.
22 God brought them out of Egypt; HE hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.
23 Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!
24 Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Numbers 23
And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.
26 But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?
27 And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.
(And Balaam went again with the king. Don't keep putting yourself in a way opposite to God. Don't put yourself in association with people who are against God's way.)

Numbers 23
28 And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.
29 And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
30 And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
(Balaam continues with the king in spite of what has happened and he keeps trying to curse the people of God even when it isn't God will.)

Our heart must be with God.

And what of the end of Balaam?
Balaam loved being with the enemies of God. Balaam was with them when God sent Joshua to slay these enemies and Balaam was slain with them.

(residue: the small amount that remains after the main part has gone or has been taken)

Isaiah 28:15-18 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
(Those who trust in lies and hell and think it shall not come to them, because of their covenant with lies and hell, will have those lies and hell driven away by the judgments of God.)
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.
17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.
18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.
(overflowing scourge: severe punishments)

Some doctrines in churches say nothing can touch them because they have authority over devils. They teach they can stop hail, tornados, floods and anything that would destroy their properties. But God causes things like hail, rains, winds, lightning. They think anything that brings destruction is from the devil. Their doctrine is false. Therefore they made a covenant with hell. When the judgment of God comes they will see.

Isaiah 28:22 ... for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.
(2020: coronavirus was a consumption upon the whole earth.)

Famine:
Isaiah 28:28-29 Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.
29 This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Isaiah 29:06 Thou shalt be visited (judged) of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
(We read about these judgments from God in Revelation 8, 9, 16 ... also we have seen a great earthquake in Turkey and Syria killing 50,000 ... and mighty floods and great fires in California.)

Isaiah 29:23 But when HE seeth HIS children, the work of MINE hands, in the midst of HIM, they shall sanctify MY name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the God of Israel.

Matthew 24 (Jesus says)
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
(Everything we can see with our natural eyes will be torn down at the end of this world. God destroys this world with fire. Our kingdom is not of this world.)
3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of Thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4-5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

5 The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
6 The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
7 The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
8 A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
9 He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
10 A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
26 The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
27 The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
28 In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.
No wonder Jesus said: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt. 24:21-22)
We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

The wicked shall fall by his own wickedness (Proverbs 11:5)

I Corinthians 10
11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Rebellion against Moses:
Numbers 21:5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
They blamed Moses for bringing them out of Egypt where they had plenty of spicy foods, leeks and garlics. They hated the food God provided.
They forgot the hard labor Pharaoh put upon them and they forgot how they begged God for deliverance.
They forgot the way Pharaoh commanded them to kill their male children.
In deliverance their heart turned back into Egypt and they longed for Egypt though the bondage was hard bondage.
They were not thankful to God and they fought against Moses whom God used as a deliver.

Numbers 16 (Rebellion of Korah)
1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
5 And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are HIS, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto HIM: even him whom HE hath chosen will HE cause to come near unto HIM.
6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.
8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:
9 Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to HIMSELF to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
10 And HE hath brought thee near to HIM, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?
11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?
12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?
14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not THOU their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?
23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.
30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
36 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
39 And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.
42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

These judgments show us that God is righteous and does just judgment against the wicked.
In the end of this world, God sends 14 plagues and woes upon the rebellious ones of this world and against the apostate churches which cast aside the word of God and set up their own doctrines to approve sinners among the churches of the apostasy.

That is what is coming upon this earth in the days ahead.

David replaces Saul as king of Israel by God’s choice

David was said to be a man after God's own heart!
Saul failed to fully follow the instructions from God and God sent the prophet Samuel to anoint David to be king over HIS people.

I Samuel 16
1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided ME a king among his sons.
2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD.
3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto ME him whom I name unto thee.

4 And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably?
(They were afraid of prophets of God.)
5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.
6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab (the eldest of Jesse' sons), and said, Surely the LORD'S anointed is before him.
7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
8 Then Jesse called Abinadab, and made him pass before Samuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
9 Then Jesse made Shammah to pass by. And he said, Neither hath the LORD chosen this.
10 Again, Jesse made seven of his sons to pass before Samuel. And Samuel said unto Jesse, The LORD hath not chosen these.
11 And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Send and fetch him: for we will not sit down till he come hither.
12 And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah.
14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

From heaven today, Jesus chooses HIS ministers and teaches them for the work to which they are called: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher
The apostle Paul was placed in the body of Christ as an apostle and teacher. (2 Tim. 1:11)
John 15:16 Jesus said: Ye have not chosen ME, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in MY name, HE may give it you.

The evil spirit of the Lord stayed with Saul the remainder of his life and that evil spirit tormented Saul. And for the remainder of his life Saul tried to kill David. But when David played skillfully on the harp, that evil spirit left Saul temporarily.
God removed the kingdom from Saul when Samuel anointed David. But the people continued to identify Saul as king as long as Saul lived.

David committed a terrible sin in having sex with Bathsheba and then arranging for her husband, Uriah the Hittite, to be killed in the army of David.
2 Samuel 11
1 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.
9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
(David wanted it to look like Bathsheba was pregnant by her husband Uriah, but Uriah refused to go down to his house. David wanted to cover the fact that he was the father of the baby.)
10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?
11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.
12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.
13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.
14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.
15 And he (David) wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.
So David arranges for Uriah to die in the battle.
David committed adultery with Bathsheba and arranged for her husband to be killed in battle.

A messenger tells David Uriah is dead.
2 Samuel 11
25 Then David said unto the messenger, Thus shalt thou say unto Joab, Let not this thing displease thee, for the sword devoureth one as well as another: make thy battle more strong against the city, and overthrow it: and encourage thou him.
26 And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband.
27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
God brought a penalty upon David for his sins.

2 Samuel 12
1 And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
2 The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
3 But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
4 And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
5 And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
6 And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man.
Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
8 And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in HIS sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Three penalties from God upon David:
💥 10 Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised ME and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
💥 11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
12 For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD.
And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
💥 14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

David prayed and fasted for the sick child and was hoping that God would not kill the child.
2 Samuel 12
16 David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
17 And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
19 But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
20 Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.
21 Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
22 And he (David) said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
23 But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
24 And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
(After David died, God chose Solomon to take David's place as king.)

Psalm 51:4 Against THEE, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in THY sight:
Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Psalm 51:11 Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY holy spirit from me.
Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free spirit.

Jesus says:
Luke 21
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
(That which connects us to God and makes us "worthy to escape" is prayer.)
Each time we see a problem and pray, we put our trust to God and connect to God.
Each time we follow God, doing that which God says to us, we trust God and connect with God and show our faith to be in God.

2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

(integrity: the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; Biblical soundness)

4 Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.

20 They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the LORD: but such as are upright in their way are HIS delight.
(froward: stubbornly unruly; headstrong; willful; disobedient)

21 Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
22 As a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
(discretion: making of wise decisions and choices.)
23 The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.

24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
26 He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that selleth it.
27 He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.

28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
29 He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool shall be servant to the wise of heart.
30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
31 Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

It will get much worse in the days ahead on this earth.
No wonder Jesus said: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. (Mt. 24:21-22)
We must learn to operate in God's wisdom, obeying the Holy Scriptures.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

As we read examples of Old Testament, we have an opportunity to see the way God thinks by that which God chooses to do to the disobedient.
I Corinthians 10
5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.
11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

God gives king Saul an assignment:
I Samuel 15
1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over HIS people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
(God's assignment to Saul.)
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
(When we receive an assignment from God, we must do that assignment. We must do every part of that assignment and we must not allow our minds to reason that assignment away in any part.)
4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.
5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.
6 And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.
7 And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.
8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.
(God told Saul to kill Agag. Saul did not do this but saved Agag alive.)
9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.
(God told Saul to kill the sheep and the oxen. Saul kept the best of the sheep and oxen alive.)

10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,
11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following ME, and hath not performed MY commandments.
And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.
13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.
14 And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear.

15 And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
(Saul blamed the people for sparing the sheep and oxen. But Saul received a commandment from God on this matter and Saul was king and commanded the people. Saul was in charge of that which they did. And Saul did not do the will of God in the matter. A leader is responsible to fulfill the commandment given to him by God. It would not matter what the people wanted to do. You do what God shows you to do and you "wholly" follow God in every part of the Word.)

16 Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.
17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?
18 And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.
19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
(Saul did not kill the king as God told him to do. Saul did not kill the sheep and oxen as God told him to do. Saul did not "wholly" follow the Lord.)
21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
(Saul is saying the people kept the best of the sheep and oxen to sacrifice to God, a good thing. God sees it as an evil thing they did for they did not obey the instructions of God but changed the instructions to their own reasonings.)
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, HE hath also rejected thee from being king.
(God used this disobedience example of Saul to teach me to fully obey when I am given an assignment from God.)

24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.
26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.
27 And as Samuel turned about to go away, he laid hold upon the skirt of his mantle, and it rent.
28 And Samuel said unto him, The LORD hath rent the kingdom of Israel from thee this day, and hath given it to a neighbour of thine, that is better than thou.
29 And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
30 Then he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.
31 So Samuel turned again after Saul; and Saul worshipped the LORD.

32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites.
And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
33 And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.
(The prophet of God does the will of God and fulfills the work of God's choosing which Saul would not do.)

34 Then Samuel went to Ramah; and Saul went up to his house to Gibeah of Saul.
35 And Samuel came no more to see Saul until the day of his death: nevertheless Samuel mourned for Saul: and the LORD repented that HE had made Saul king over Israel.

I Samuel 16:1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

If we fail to obey God in each part of the word given us by God, we can bring judgement and penalty from God upon ourselves and we cannot please God unless we fulfill HIS Word.

Goliath of the army of the Philistines:
I Samuel 17
1 Now the Philistines gathered together their armies to battle, and were gathered together at Shochoh, which belongeth to Judah, and pitched between Shochoh and Azekah, in Ephesdammim.
2 And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines.
3 And the Philistines stood on a mountain on the one side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side: and there was a valley between them.
4 And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.
5 And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.
6 And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.
7 And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
8 And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.
9 If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.
10 And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.
11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed, and greatly afraid.

David of the army of the living God:
I Samuel 17
20 And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse (David's father) had commanded him; and he came to the trench, as the host was going forth to the fight, and shouted for the battle.
21 For Israel and the Philistines had put the battle in array, army against army.
22 And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethren. (David's 3 brothers were in Saul's army.)
23 And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.
24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.
25 And the men of Israel said, Have ye seen this man that is come up? surely to defy Israel is he come up:
and it shall be, that the man who killeth him (Goliath), the king (of Israel) will enrich him with great riches, and will give him his daughter, and make his father's house free in Israel.
26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?
27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him. (Goliath)
28 And Eliab his (David's) eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab's anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. (Misjudging David in his heart.)
29 And David said, What have I now done? Is there not a cause?
30 And he turned from him toward another, and spake after the same manner: and the people answered him again after the former manner.
31 And when the words were heard which David spake, they rehearsed them before Saul (king of Israel) : and he (Saul) sent for him (David).
32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him (Goliath); thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.
33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.
34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock:
35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.
36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
(David knew God would fight for him and the battle was God's battle.)
37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, HE will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.
And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

David cannot go into battle with unproven armor:
38 And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail.
(David had not "proved" Saul's armor so we would not to into battle with armor which he had not first proved.)
39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed (evaluated the situation and could not go into battle with Saul's armor) to go; for he had not proved it.
And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd's bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.

The Battle:
41 And the Philistine came on and drew near unto David; and the man that bare the shield went before him.
42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.
(disdained: considered to be unworthy of one's consideration; refused or rejected out of feeling of pride or superiority; to regard with contempt, scorn, or dislike while judging the other person of unworthy of respect)43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
(defied: to challenge to do something seemed impossible; dare; to confront with assured power over; to openly challenge without respect)
46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and HE will give you into our hands.
48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.
49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.
(The armor of Goliath covered his body and even his head, except for his forehead which was his flesh.)
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith.
And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.

The Philistine insulted God and belittled God and David could not allow this to happen.

Jesus says:
Luke 21
14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
(Jesus comes through the clouds and the dead in Christ are awakened by HIM to eternal life, and HIS angels gather the elect from off the earth, and the wrath of God, The Great Tribulation, comes on this world and the apostate churches who have cast aside the Holy Scriptures and have set up their own doctrines inside their church groups.)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
(The earth will move in the solar system ... God says: Isaiah 13:13 I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.)
Luke 21
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And HE spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
(As the iniquity increases in the world and in the apostate churches, you can tell that the season of God's judgment upon this earth draws closer.)

The Law of Moses and the Law of God

Often I've heard church people say: "OH, we don't go by the law any more." And they cast aside certain scriptures in the New Testament Bible.
Here is the truth:
We no longer do the Law of Moses where they sacrificed animals for sins.
Leviticus 1
1 And the LORD called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man of you bring an offering unto the LORD, ye shall bring your offering of the cattle, even of the herd, and of the flock. 3 If his offering be a burnt sacrifice of the herd, let him offer a male without blemish: he shall offer it of his own voluntary will at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD.
4 And he shall put his hand upon the head of the burnt offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.
5 And he shall kill the bullock before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall bring the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 6 And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces. 7 And the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay the wood in order upon the fire:
8 And the priests, Aaron's sons, shall lay the parts, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 9 But his inwards and his legs shall he wash in water: and the priest shall burn all on the altar, to be a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
10 And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.
11 And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar. 12 And he shall cut it into his pieces, with his head and his fat: and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar: 13 But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
14 And if the burnt sacrifice for his offering to the LORD be of fowls, then he shall bring his offering of turtledoves, or of young pigeons.
15 And the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off his head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be wrung out at the side of the altar:
The sacrifice of Jesus and the shed blood of Jesus pay for the sins of the church of the New Covenant so we no longer pay for sins with the sacrifice of animals as they did in the Law of Moses.
So we do not do the law of Moses in the church today.

But we do follow the laws of God in the New Testament Bible. We follow the commandments of God in the New Testament church. We follow the doctrines of Christ set forth in the New Testament Bible.
There are many commandments of God for the New Testament church in the New Testament Bible.
Here are a few of those:
I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

I Corinthians 7:39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

The end time churches of the apostasy have removed such scriptures as the above and have greatly deceived their congregations and they will all be damned at the return of Jesus.
2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto ME, saith the LORD.
10 I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto ME, saith the LORD.
11 I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto ME, saith the LORD.

6 Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest HE break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.

8 Seek HIM that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is HIS name:
9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
11 Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
12 For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
13 Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.

15 Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
17 And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

(Judgments against Judah and Israel)
1 Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
2 And HE said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon MY people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
3 And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord GOD, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

Jesus shed HIS blood for sins and established the New Testament church and many fell away from scripture and set up their own doctrine. When Jesus returns, HE will destroy the apostate churches.
2 Thessalonians 2
