Building your house on the word from God

Lk. 12:40 Jesus says: Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not

The important thing for each of us is not so much "when" Jesus comes, the day and such, but that which is important for each human is staying ready for the coming of Jesus.
 
God has clearly shown us the following:
 
2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
 
Lk. 21:33-36   Jesus says:  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.
 
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
 
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
 
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Possess the land which God has given you

God has given to each of us an assignment to fulfill HIS purpose while we live on this earth.
 
In the Old Testament, God gave portions of lands to HIS people but they had to go up and possess that land though God had given it to them.
 
Deuteronomy 1
 
21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

If you are married you have that land to which you tend day and night for the remainder of your life on this earth.
 
Each of us need God's wisdom to care for our assignment.
 
And God has promised to us:
 
James 1:5  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
 
Hebrews 13:5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

God has given us all that we need to do that to which HE has assigned us.  There is no lack.  There is no want.  
 
We are well able, through God, who has given us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and to teach us and to guide us.

I Corinthians 12
 
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
 
28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
 
We are well equipped by God to do all that God assigns for us to do.

1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
 
2 HE maketh me to lie down in green pastures: HE leadeth me beside the still waters.

When God speaks to us by HIS Spirit

The Word of God is all we need to do the situation at hand.
 
When we are sure God spoke to us telling us to do something, that is all we need.
 
Joshua 1:9  (God says:)  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
 
Ask yourself this:  "Did God tell me to do this?"
 
This is the anchor for our soul.
 
Can you recognize the Spirit of God when HE speaks to you?

Riches profit not in the day of wrath (Proverbs 11:4)

The time will come toward the end of this world when rich men will cast their gold and silver into the streets because they will know those things will not save them in the wrath of God.
 
Ezekiel.7:19  They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
 
How can God be appeased during The Great Tribulation?

God knows every evil act of man and man will receive for those things he has done on this earth.
 
Ahab and Jezebel, his wife, are examples of evil.
 
I Kings 21
 
(Ahab covets Naboth's vineyard and Jezebel gets that vineyard for king Ahab.)
 
1 And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.
 
2 And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.
 
3 And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.
 
4 And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.
 
5 But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?
 
6 And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.
 
7 And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.
 
8 So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.
 
9 And she wrote in the letters, saying, Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people:
 
10 And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.
 
11 And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.
 
12 They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.
 
13 And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.
 
14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.
 
15 And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.
 
16 And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

18 Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.
 
(God sees all that we do and "rewards" us for both good and evil.)
 
19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.
 
20 And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.
 
21 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,
 
22 And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked ME to anger, and made Israel to sin.
 
23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.
 
24 Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.
 
25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
 
26 And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.

Changed by God

Genesis 6:5
 
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
 
The minute man touches something, he pollutes it with his own flesh.
 
Therefore in the Old Testament, God would not allow them to bring "hewn" stones into the tabernacle.
 
Exodus 20:26   God says:  And if thou wilt make ME an altar of stone, thou shalt not build it of hewn stone: for if thou lift up thy tool upon it, thou hast polluted it.

So God said:
 
Ezekiel 36:26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:

In the New Testament church, the new covenant of God, we are "born again", changed by God, given a "new heart" and a "new spirit", which is different from the heart and spirit with which we were born onto this earth by our natural parents.
 
After God causes this change to happen in us, we no longer follow after those things of the flesh as we once did. Now we want to know things of God and we consider what God wants us to do.
 
We are a new creature:
 
2 Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We were once flesh, following the impulses of our own flesh.  But now we also have the Spirit of God so we choose to follow that which is shown us by the Spirit of God, desiring to please God.
 
Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
 
Think about the way you were before God changed you.
 
Take the above list and circle those works of the flesh which you sought after before you were born again.
 
Consider how different you are now!
 
We don't all seek after each work of the flesh but we have tendencies toward doing certain fleshly things.
 
I never cared for drinking alcoholic drinks because I did not like the taste of the drinks.  But some people are very drawn toward such.
 
My interest was more in debating, striving, emulations.
 
I find the people and things I once enjoyed, I no longer enjoy.  God changed my heart and gave me a new Spirit, HIS Spirit.  After that, I wanted to know about God and I wanted to be with people of God.
 
Now I know things of this world mean nothing and all these things we can see with our natural eyes will be destroyed by God at the end of this world.
 
Matthew 24:1-2  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.
 
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
 
Everything we now see with our eyes will be destroyed by God at the end of this present world.
 
Matthew 24:35  Jesus says:  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.
 
Now I know the only thing worth following is the Word from God which continues forever.
 
Some people worship historical objects, cultural objects.
 
Some focus on buildings created by man, wonders produced by man.
 
Some are impressed by intellect of man.
 
All these will pass away and are very temporary.
 
The Word of the Lord is forever, an investment worthy of giving all in order to follow that Word which God speaks to us.
 
We are greatly blessed when we understand this!

After God gives us a new heart and a new Spirit, HIS Own Spirit, the Holy Spirit, we then begin to follow what HE says to us, doing HIS things.
 
And when we do that which God tells us to do by HIS Spirit, we end up producing the fruits of the Spirit by doing those things.
 
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:
 
This is totally different from that fleshly spirit which we once followed.
 
And we thank God continually that HE changed us from that person we once were!

Speaking by the Spirit of God

This simply means "relax" ... When you are with another person, speak that which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind.
 
If you are reminded of a scripture, speak that.
 
If you are reminded of a dream, speak that.
 
If you are reminded of something God did in your life, speak that.
 
It is not I who speaks but God speaking by HIS Spirit.
 
I never plan ahead that which I will speak to another person when I know I am going to see that person.  I just pray that God have me speak that which HE wants spoken and I depend on the Holy Spirit who reminds me of what to speak.
 
John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
Luke 21:14-15  Jesus says:  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
 
And often before I meet with that person, I pray ... Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
 
And often I ask God to have me speak only that which HE wants me to speak ... and I follow the Holy Spirit when HE brings something to my mind.  If it is a scripture, I speak that.  If it is a dream, I share that.  Whatever the Holy Spirit brings to my mind as I am with the other person, I share that.

Fight the good fight of faith in God

I Corinthians 10
 
1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Along the way, problems pop up.  We learn to call on God and HE helps us.
 
The devil will destroy us if we allow him to do so.
 
I Peter 5:6-10  Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon HIM; for HE careth for you.
 
(Pour out your heart in prayer to GOD,  God will strengthen you.  God will help you.  God will uphold you with the right hand of HIS righteousness.  The devil comes to destroy you with thoughts.  He is a false prophet telling you everything is going to be disastrous.  But remember he, devil, is a false prophet.  Trust in God.  HE will take care of you.  And HE will make a way for you. Follow God as long as HE chooses to leave you on this earth.  Make yourself put your trust in God.  God will lift you up.)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

When God sent the men into search out the land which God said HE would give them, 8 men brought back evil reports.  Only 2 men showed faith in God, Joshua and Caleb. 
 
Numbers 13
 
25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
(God is with us!)31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
 
The 8 men who brought back evil reports were overcome and slain in the wilderness.
 
Joshua and Caleb, who had faith in God. were given the victory. overcame and entered into the promised land as God had promised them.

32 And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine.33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth.34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.
 
43 And the Philistine said unto David, Am I a dog, that thou comest to me with staves? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
44 And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air, and to the beasts of the field.45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD'S, and HE will give you into our hands.48 And it came to pass, when the Philistine arose, and came and drew nigh to meet David, that David hasted, and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.49 And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, that the stone sunk into his forehead; and he fell upon his face to the earth.50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.51  Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled.
 
We overcome all things by faith in God and by HIS power.

💥  Joshua 1:5  There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
 
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
 
💥  Hebrews 13:5  Let your conversation (manner of life) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
 
💥  Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (The Word)

Turn your life around through faith in God, thinking on that which God has done and focusing on the promises in the Bible of that which God says HE will do.
 
And be thankful to God:   "Praise God:  Thank YOU for my salvation!"
 
Never stop fighting to hold onto faith in God.
 
Fight daily!  Never give up your fight to keep your faith in God and in HIS word.
 
The devil is a false prophet. The devil is a liar and there is no truth in him.  (John 8:44)

After we are born again and have the Spirit of God in us, we learn to control our flesh by following that which is brought to our mind by the Spirit of God, going in that way of God in the issues of this present life.
 
Flesh never improves.
 
We simply learn to follow the Spirit of God when our flesh tries to rise up.
 
I John 2:15-17  Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

I Peter 4:1-2  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
 
I Cor. 10:13   There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
 
If we follow that which the Spirit brings to mind, we will not walk in the ways the flesh wants to go.  It is easy, for all we have to do is follow the Spirit of God.  (He will remind us!)

Jesus says:

Traditions of men renders the word of God void says Jesus

Many churches today are teaching doctrines that are traditions of men instead of the commandments of God from the New Testament Bible. 
 
This is antichrist in the end time church.  This is the apostasy that Paul said had to come before Jesus returns.
 
II Thess. 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
 
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
"The falling away" are churches falling away from scripture.  When this happens the door is open for antichrist to come into the church and set up doctrines of men, departing from scripture which is the doctrine of Christ for the church.
 
For example:  The Catholic church teaches their followers to pray to Mary.  This is their "tradition" set up by men and not by God. 
 
Jesus says:  John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
 
In the New Testament Bible, we are taught to pray directly to God through Jesus Christ.
 
Philippians 4:6   Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
 
Mary is dead.  She is sleeping.  She cannot hear you or watch over you.  No dead person can do these things.  Dead people are asleep.
 
Jesus shows us that dead people are "asleep".
 
John 11:11-14  These things said HE (Jesus) : and after that HE saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
 
12 Then said His disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
 
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that HE had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
 
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
 
Some church people in both Catholic and Protestant churches think dead people watch over them.
 
The Bible shows us that dead people are asleep.
 
I Thessalonians 4:13-17  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.
 
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep (dead).
 
16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
 
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
 
God watches over us.  Dead people are sleeping until Jesus returns.
 
In churches today, there are many traditions of men which are opposite to the doctrines of Christ in the Holy Bible.

Living in Peace while living in Truth and honesty should be our goal.

Some people try to live in peace by telling themselves lies.  This has always troubled me.
 
"Peace at any cost is not peace."
 
Speaking well of an evil doer only causes you to live in deception and become a liar.
 
2 John vv. 8-11
 
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
 
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
 
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

Recently we were changing cars.  We told our neighbor for we knew she wanted a larger version of an SUV.  We had one for sale with only 11,000 miles.  She drove it several times.  Then she proposed that Pam put a selling price on the car title which was less than she actually paid for the car.  Pam said she could not do that.  This woman thought about it and replied, "You're right.  We should do that which is right."  (honest)
 
Pam dealt with this in an honest way, continuing in peace, and even helped the neighbor (a Catholic woman) to see the dishonesty that would have come through lying concerning the sale price of the car.  And the woman was restored to the right way to go.
 
(She did not buy this car.  But she did return to what was right.)
 
Living in peace and truth and honesty.

Before Jesus returns, God will shake the heavens and the earth

The Day of the Lord:  The second coming of Jesus 
 
The primary signs of the nearby coming of Jesus will be the signs in the sky and the shaking of the heaven and the earth by God:

Several years ago, a woman in our church group reported the following dream:
 
She said:  My husband and I were going out to buy a new TV.  I was at the car waiting for him for I was ready to go.  All of a sudden, the sky turned completely dark.  It was terrifying!  I started to run back into the house.  But then I knew it would do no good to do that, so I just fell on my knees.
 
When the sun goes dark, the return of Jesus is very nearby.

Joan Boney ... In the mid-1980's, God gave me this dream:
 
"The earth slipped on it's axis.  The governments of men were meeting with the scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  (Nothing can be done, for the Bible tells us this "shaking of the earth by God" will happen before Jesus returns.)  In this dream, a TV newscaster was trying to give a report to the people but he was so frightened that he just stopped speaking and walked off camera.
 
Isaiah, the prophet of God, reported the following:

Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

Other people often try to get us to do that which they are doing.  They may not know what they are doing is opposite to that which God wants.  What they are doing may "seem" right to the majority of the people around them.  But it may not be godly.
 
2 Thessalonians 5:21   Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
 
Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

When I come in contact with people of this world, often they are friendly and smile and I am quickly taken in, thinking them to be "good guys".
 
God reminds me that Paul told us what people are really like in the end times.

God is our hope

When I drift off into temporary madness (insanity) against someone, I pray:  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a "right" spirit within me.  (Psalm 51:10) 
 
God usually answers this prayer instantly!
 
HE restoreth my soul.  (Psalm 23:3)

If I tried to do this for myself, it might take weeks, months, years ... or never.
 
(I don't trust myself!)
 
Sometimes I even pray for God to create a clean heart and renew a "right" spirit in the other person as-well-as in me.
 
And HE does.

There are times "our train" gets slightly off track!  We end up getting "mad" over something.  
 
God is our hope for immediate cleansing.  God knows exactly what has gone wrong and God can go right to the heart of the problem.
 
Lots of times devils have wormed their way into our thinking and they cause trouble and would destroy us if possible.  But we know to pray and God straightens everything out for us!
 
Nothing is impossible with God!

After I was born again on August 5, 1975, I had a strong desire to read the Bible and to structure my life by that which God said in the New Testament Bible. I would read the Bible to see what I should do in this life.  And I often found scripture which showed me what to do.
 
The rule book for the New Testament Church is the New Testament Bible.
 
By the scriptures in the New Testament Bible we see how we should treat other people.
 
Life is no longer just about ourselves, but also about our family, friends, neighbors and even about strangers.
 
Do we really care about other people?  About those people who can't repay us?
 
Are those poor people important in our minds?  Are we interested in their well being on this earth?
 
Luke 6:32   For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
 
And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
 
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
 
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
 
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
 
Do we pray for those who seek to take vengeance on others thinking vengeance is good and have no idea how evil their actions really are?
 
Or do we scorn and hate them?
 
Don't we want to build our house on the Word of God?

In the days of Jonah, God spared Ninevah because God said the people of Nineval didn't know their right hand from their left.
 
Today people in high places are very proud.  Often they think themselves to be very wise and have no idea what they "preach" is evil.
God is saying to us, Pray for your rulers and those that be in charge, that you will be able to live in peace.

Be diligent to go to God in prayer seeking healing of heart and spirit from God

If you take into your heart and inner being such things as anger and wrath against other people, be diligent to turn to God in prayer, asking God to cleanse you and create in you a right spirit, for much evil can come from anger and wrath if you store this in your heart, and you can hurt others when you share with them.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

When the sky turns dark in the middle of the day, will you see then?

Man loves to explain away the works of God.
 
Today man even tries to explain away weather events and to make it seem that they are because of something man has done on this earth such as building gas engines.
 
What will happen when the earth shakes before man and when the sky turns dark in the day?  Will they see God then?

In the Bible it tells us that even in the midst of the torment upon man during the great tribulation they will not repent but will blaspheme God.
 
Revelation 9
 
6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
 
20  And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
 
21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of HIM that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of HIS mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
 
(The sword, the Word of God, that comes from the mouth of Jesus slays HIS enemies.)

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
 
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
 
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
 
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Come, Lord Jesus.  Judge the world and the apostate churches who do not love the Word of God.
