The apostle Paul says:
 
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

A true minister of Jesus Christ speaks that which is brought to his mind by the Holy Spirit of God.
 
If a minister is trying to please people, he will speak that which the congregations wants him to speak.
 
A minister must keep himself free so he can serve God for if that minister needs money it could affect the message he chooses to speak to the congregation.  
 
Salvation comes when a minister keeps himself free and speaks that which God shows him to speak.
 
John 5:30  Jesus said:
I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

If a brother in Christ is committing fornication or is covetous or is an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner

If you have an unbelieving mate

I Corinthians 7
 
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.
The believer lives as a Christian and if the mate is content to live with him, allow her to do so.13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Wisdom from God

After we pray, we need to recognize which ideas are from God.
 
James 3 
 
13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

I believe this means these people who are in churches but do not believe that Jesus lives in our flesh today by His Spirit.
 
I attended a luncheon at Texas Tech University when I lived in Lubbock, Texas.
 
At our table were 6 people.
 
One woman spoke up and pointed out the window and said:  "That is our church."  (She pointed to a Methodist church building across the street.)
 
I said, "We are the church."
 
This woman became very angry and began to try to argue.  
 
She said, "That's the church.  I'm not a church."
 
Some people do not realize Jesus, by HIS Spirit, lives in us who believe in HIM.
 
I Corinthians 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
 
I Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
 
II Corinthians 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

The apostle John says: ”The whole world lieth in wickedness” (I Jn. 5:19)

From the time of Adam, man has had a sin nature of the flesh.
 
I Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
 
It is the "nature" of man to do the works of the flesh.
 
Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus said:  "Ye must be born again."  (John 3)
 
We cannot see things of God unless we are born again.  We just think with our natural mind until we are born again but then God gives us HIS Spirit and mind so we can enter into things of God.
 
We are changed by God when we are born again.
 
II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
 
God gives the believers in the NT church HIS heart and HIS Spirit so they can obey HIM and know HIS will and follow HIM.
 
The prophet Ezekiel prophesied this in Ezekiel 36.

22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
 
27  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

The Holy Spirit comes to live in us after we are born again and then we have the truth of God brought to our mind and revealed to us by the Spirit of truth, so we can know the truth and follow HIM.
 
Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

Prior to being born again, we are of the world which lies in the wickedness of the flesh and does the works of the flesh.
 
Genesis 6
 
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD.
 
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
 
God brought the flood upon the earth and destroyed all flesh except the flesh that was in the ark with Noah.
 
2 Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 
 
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Politics: Are you trusting in governments of men and hoping for them to give you something?

The people of this world often hope in governments of men.  They vote for men and women hoping they will make some law whereby they benefit financially.  As they vote for these individuals they also sanction these individuals and often as a result they will lose reward in heaven as Christians.
 
The apostle John tells us this:  For if we wish a person well and they do evil, we will be a part of their evil, says John.
 
II John 
 
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

To choose one party of politics over another is also to come to "hate" the other party.  Hatred is a big part of politics.
 
The world thinks it noble and good to vote for politicians and they take pride that they voted and often blame those who do not vote.
 
The Bible tells us to pray for those who are in charge.
 
Paul tells us to pray for our kings and rulers that we might live in peace.  I do pray sometimes for the rulers of governments of men.
 
Paul says:
 
I Timothy 2:1-2   I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
 
💥  I did pray that God not allow Donald Trump to fire a nuclear device when he was president of the United States.
 
💥  I have prayed a few times for President Biden that he would not take us into a war.
 
But I would not vote for either man nor sanction any worldly man for anything.

And I do not desire riches from men.  I want my "riches" to come from God as Abraham did when the king of Sodom offered him riches.
 
Genesis 14
 
21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
 
When I read this scripture more than 40 years ago, I swore the same thing to God:  "I want my wealth to come from YOU."
 
I do not gamble and hope to win the lottery.  That is an appalling thought to me!
 
I want my provision to come from God ... and it does.  God has supported me and provided all my needs, exceedingly abundantly above all I can ask or even think!  (Eph. 3:20)
 
I would not want to trade God's provision for man's provision.
 
But on TV news, I see groups do this all the time, thinking governments of men to be their hope.
 
During WWII, the German people were afraid not to vote for Adolph Hitler.
 
I think I would have been praying for God to move me to another country had I lived in Germany at that time.

Godliness in the sight of God is often opposite from the way of man

38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloke also.41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

John 18:36  Jesus said:  MY kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.

The godly men of the Bible viewed themselves as "strangers and pilgrims" in this world.  
 
Hebrews 11
 
13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

Luke 21
 
5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, HE (Jesus) said,6 As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
(At the end of this world, God will destroy the heaven and the earth.  Everything we can see with our natural eyes will be destroyed by God and we will be taken to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.)

Luke 21:33  Jesus says: Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.
 
Therefore we cannot hope in that which we see for it will all be gone in the end.  We put our trust in that which cannot be seen, the Word of God which last forever and never passes away.
 
Matthew 6:19-21  Jesus says:  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The apostle Paul tells us to "exercise yourselves unto godliness."
 
I Timothy 4:7-8  But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
 
Seek the will of God and go that way on this earth.
 
Store up scripture and keep your mind "stayed" on scripture, the Word of God.
 
Isaiah 26:3-4 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on THEE: because he trusteth in THEE.  Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

View the Word of God as that pearl of great price which is great treasure above all things.
 
Matthew 13  Jesus says:  
 
44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

On August 5, 1975, God revealed my sins to me and saved me.  God said:  "Joan ... you know all those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."
 
"Sins?"  I gasped.  I was very shocked.
 
With that I was born again and God gave me HIS Holy Spirit and began teaching me the ways of God and I followed HIS Word which HE gave me!
 
To me there was nothing like the Word of God.  It was the most wonderful thing that could ever be given to us far above all treasures and people of this world!
 
I began storing scripture, as given me by the Holy Spirit, in my heart.  And I began doing those scriptures and continuing to live by the instruction in those scriptures, being made one with the Word of God.
 
And God continues teaching me to this day and causes me to change to the Word of God as I live on this present earth, conforming my thinking to God's Word, which lasts forever.
 
This is a treasure that is worthy of storing!

The time will come when men will cast their silver and their gold into the streets as worthless, knowing such cannot save them.
 
Ezekiel 7:19  They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

When sins are open and flaunted before all, then destruction comes from God

The sins of Sodom became so well known that they came before the face of God and that is when judgment came from God.
 
God sent 2 angels to destroy Sodom but first the 2 angels had to get Lot to come out of Sodom.
 
2 Peter 2
 
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

When they flaunt their sins in front of all and boast of their sins in public, judgment is not far away.
 
God sent 2 angels to destroy Sodom.
 
The angels explained to Lot:
 
Genesis 19:12-13
 
12 And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.
14 And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
16 And while he lingered, the men (angels) laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.
 
23 The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

There is no shame today in their sins.  They openly commit sins against God, sins listed in the Bible.
 
I Corinthians 6:9-10  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Ministers of Satan

2 Corinthians 11
 
12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

Ministers of Satan ... men who speak great swelling words of vanity ... trapping their congregations in powerless emotions and fleshly concepts ... stomping about before their congregations like a gorilla that beats it's chest and says, "Look at me."
 
Antichrist in the churches:
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures.")4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
When portions of scripture were removed and doctrines changed from the Bible to their own preferences, the door was open for antichrist to move into the churches and antichrist reigned over the Word of God in the churches and false doctrines came into the churches as they departed from portions of scriptures.
 
Jesus will destroy those antichrist churches when HE returns to gather HIS elect.
 
2 Thessalonians 2
 
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Last week, I read a story telling of a famous evangelical pastor who had a congregation of 38,000.  In this article, this man did not quote even one scripture ... though he spoke with many "great swelling words."
 
A woman said she spoke to over 400,000 in her trip to Pakistan. 
 
A man who was at one time pastor at the church I attended boasted before the congregation that he was going to be bigger than Kenneth Copeland. In pursuit of greatness, he ended up divorced from his wife and he married another woman and they divorced and he married a third wife.  He lost his church building and one of his own church sued him for extortion.  His 8,000 seat church building was pulled down and a junior hockey league built a stadium on the land where that church building once stood.  Today there is no evidence that I know of that a church ever met at that location.  The last I heard of this man, he had given up his TV ministry and had bought an hotel in Culver City, California.  (Robert Tilton:  a report in Wikipedia, internet encyclopedia) 
 
Following after greatness in ministry is destruction.  It is as the sin of Balaam who wanted reward from other men.
 
Some of these are ministers of Satan as Paul told us would happen.  Others fell away from the call of God in pursuit of personal greatness.
 
Hundreds of thousands of millions follow these corrupt preachers and worship them.  It is great grief to me.  But I know God has HIS way of delivering those individuals who belong to HIM and that is my prayer, that the elect of God be delivered from corrupt ministries as I was delivered and others have been delivered.
 
2 Peter 2:9   The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Elect of God: Called by God

I Corinthians 1
 
1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
 
9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

God called us and chose us as HIS own and revealed HIMSELF to us.
 
It is not that we chose God or Jesus.  We were called by God and truth was revealed to us by God and God changed us immediately by giving us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and lead us and guide us and teach us.
 
Romans 9
 
15 For HE saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew MY power in thee, and that MY name might be declared throughout all the earth.

18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will he hardeneth.

The elect of God, called by God, by the will of God, and not by their own will.
 
Acts 2:47  And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
 
Jesus returns to gather the elect of God.
 
Matthew 24:31  And HE shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
 
The elect of God are those who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God.
 
John 3   Jesus says:  3 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 
I Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
 
When we are born again, God changes us into new creatures immediately.  It is not that we study and are changed.  When we are born of God, God gives us HIS Spirit and we are changed from that person we once were.
 
God speaks to us and creates us into a new creature.
 
II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
 
From that moment forward, we have a new Spirit living in us and by that Spirit God guides us into all truth, teaches us all things, reminds us of that which Jesus has said, and even shows us things to come.  And we follow Him.
 
Ezekiel 36  (That which was to come in the New Covenant)God says:
23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them.28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be MY people, and I will be your God.

John 6:63  Jesus says:  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
 
John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.14 HE shall glorify ME (says Jesus) : for HE shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.

As Jesus called the original apostles when HE walked on the earth, we are called by HIM now to be children of God.
 
God speaks to us and we believe it is God speaking to us and we are changed immediately and given the Spirit of God who leads us and shows us the will of God and we follow that Spirit of God.
 
Romans 8:1   There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
 
To walk after the flesh would be to do such things as adultery, fornication, hatred.
 
Instead of walking in the flesh,  now we do the things of the Spirit of God and we produce the fruits of the Spirit by doing what the Spirit shows us to do.
 
Galatians 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance:

We, who are of God, are called by God, changed by God, given a new spirit and a new heart, and we then follow God.

Sexual sins in the churches

On June 4, 2022, published on CNN, was an article about sexual sins going on in the Baptist churches and one caption in the article said:  "Report:  Southern Baptist Convention leaders mishandle sexual abuse allegations."
 
(I chose not to read the report because I know what the Bible says to do about sexual sins and other sins also inside the church.)
 
I can tell you what the Bible says to do if a "brother" in the church is a fornicator.
 
The apostle Paul said:
 
I Corinthians 5:11;13.  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat ... Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
 
Sadly I had to deal with such a brother when I attended Word of Faith Church in Dallas in the early 1980's.

Quench not the Spirit (1 Thess.5)

We quench the Holy Spirit of God when we are reminded of a scripture or concept of God and fail to speak or write that information.
 
When I am with another person, and am reminded of a scripture, I share that scripture, knowing it was the Holy Spirit who reminded me of that scripture.
 
John 14:26   Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
HE simply reminds me of something God wants spoken, and I yield to the Holy Spirit and speak that scripture or tell that story.
 
Often before I meet with another person, I pray that God have me speak only that which HE wants me to speak.
 
When I write, I do the same thing.
 
Then when I am reminded of something, I speak, for I believe it to be God's will.
 
If I failed to speak when the Holy Spirit reminded me, I would quench the Spirit.
 
The apostle Paul says:  I Thessalonians 5:19  Quench not the Spirit.

The end time apostasy comes through the church

For centuries church goers have thought antichrist comes through governments of men.
 
In the 1800's, the Russians thought antichrist was Napoleon. 
 
In the 1940's, many thought Hitler was the antichrist.
 
The truth is shown to us by the apostle John.  Antichrist was already there in their own church group.
 
I John 2:18-19  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
They couldn't take over the early church with the apostle John there so they left and set up their own church denominations so they could change the doctrine away from the doctrine of Christ.

The apostle Paul also shows us in the Bible that antichrist was already there among the elders of the church of Ephesus.
 
Acts 20
 
17 And from Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.  
 
25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
 
28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

The apostle Peter warned them telling them of the false teachers who would come among the church.
 
II Peter 2
 
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you:

And the apostle Paul tells them Jesus will not return until the apostasy takes place in the churches.

When they kill without cause

In the Bible, we are warned about the end times.  Men will do irrational acts and lose control and the devil will be even more fierce because devil knows he doesn't have much time left.
 
The apostle Paul said:

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Devils send thoughts to humans and if they follow devils they will harm themselves and others.
 
Revelation 12:12 ...  Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The apostle Paul said men would get worse and worse.
 
2 Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

So today we see individuals go into grocery stores, schools, and churches and kill people without cause.
 
How can the survivors be helped?
 
When we focus on the following scripture, we are helped, when we believe:
 
I Thessalonians 4
 
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 
 
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.
 
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep.16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

I know what I know because I read it in the Bible and I am certain that the Bible is the inspired word of God as the apostle Paul said it is:
2 Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
 
Concerning the way to use the Old Testament, Paul says:
 
I Cor. 10:1-12   Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.10 Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.
 
So both the Old and New Testament Bible show us the will of God for the Christians today.

(Learn to recognize those thoughts given to you by the Spirit and do those things and say those things.  The Holy Spirit reminds us of scriptures and concepts, speak those when you are with another person and think on those when you are alone.)20 Despise not prophesyings.21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

Speaking by the Spirit of God

This simply means "relax" ... When you are with another person, speak that which the Holy Spirit brings to your mind.
 
If you are reminded of a scripture, speak that.
 
If you are reminded of a dream, speak that.
 
If you are reminded of something God did in your life, speak that.
 
It is not I who speaks but God speaking by HIS Spirit.
 
I never plan ahead that which I will speak to another person when I know I am going to see that person.  I just pray that God have me speak that which HE wants spoken and I depend on the Holy Spirit who reminds me of what to speak.
 
John 14:26  Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
Luke 21:14-15  Jesus says:  Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:  For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.
 
And often before I meet with that person, I pray ... Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
 
And often I ask God to have me speak only that which HE wants me to speak ... and I follow the Holy Spirit when HE brings something to my mind.  If it is a scripture, I speak that.  If it is a dream, I share that.  Whatever the Holy Spirit brings to my mind as I am with the other person, I share that.

Allowing the Holy Spirit of God to speak through you

5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

The Holy Spirit brings thoughts to our mind showing us specific scriptures and concepts which God wants us to share with those persons in our company in that exact time.  When we yield to that which the Holy Spirit brings to mind, we glorify God before other people.
 
Quench not the Spirit.  (I Thess. 5)
 
Glorify God.
 
Yield to the Spirit of God.

Paul says: It is not wise to compare yourself with other people or measure yourself by other people

12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

In most things of this world, we are taught exactly opposite from ways of God.
 
If we compare ourselves with other people and fall short, it might lead to covetousness.  Strife is a sin of the flesh.  
 
Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
 
Instead we are God's workmanship.  Please God and we will not fall short.
 
Emulation is one of the works of the flesh of man.  Paul says they who do these works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God.
 
Emulation (defined):  effort to match or surpass a person or achievement typically by imitation

When God told me to go on radio KWJS and exhort the church, I did not listen to any other person's radio broadcast.  I just prayed and made the radio recording, allowing God by the Holy Spirit to bring to my mind scriptures to speak and examples to give.
 
I have never heard another radio preacher's broadcast.
 
When God told me to start a blog in March 2012, I did not look at any other blogs as examples.  I just wrote what God brought to my mind, sharing scripture and examples.
 
When God told me to begin Podcast, in 2020, I did not listen to any other preacher's Podcast.  I just bought a recorder and microphone and began recording as God brought to my mind scriptures or subjects.
 
I've never heard another preacher's Podcast nor have I looked at any other person's blog.

I write exhortations on the blog and record on Podcasts daily, sometimes twice daily or even more, because of these instructions from the Bible.
 
Hebrews 3:10-11  But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
 
Hebrews 10:25-26  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

I just depend on God to give me that which HE wants the church to read and hear and I yield to the Holy Spirit as I do those things which I believe are right in the sight of God.

Jesus chooses HIS ministers

 John 15   Jesus says:
 
Ye have not chosen ME, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in MY name, HE may give it you.
Jesus, from heaven, chooses HIS ministers for HIS church today. 
 
We hear from Jesus and HE has a way of making it clear to us when HE has chosen us.  Jesus speaks to us from heaven to call us and to show us that ministry office to which we are called by HIM when HE calls us.
 
And Jesus teaches us how to do the work for that ministry to which we are called when HE calls us.

After I was born again, in the night I was transported into heaven.  I was with God and Christ and the Holy Spirit.  (I saw no physical images.  It was a spiritual experience.)  At that time, I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with the Word of God, God and the Holy Spirit witnessing.
 
A few nights after this, the exact same thing happened a second time.
 
I was on fire then for things of God!  
 
I owned a small business at that time and I had 3 women who worked for me and they were totally capable of running the business without me.  So most days, I stayed home and read the Bible.  Some days I also went to a prayer group or a church meeting or a Bible class. But mostly, God taught me as I read the Bible.
 
God took me to all the passages in the Bible (Old and New Testaments) where prophets were doing the work of God.
 
At the prayer group, God started teaching me the use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit which were assigned to me by God.
 
As the women were praying one day, I heard:  "Look up."
 
I opened my eyes and looked up and on the wall I saw an outline of a body part.  I said to God, "I know that is a part of the body but I don't know which one."  
 
Immediately I heard, "Stomach."
 
"That's right!"  I said.  (I remembered the old Pepto Bismol ads of a stomach.)
 
After the women quit praying, I said, "Does any one have a stomach problem?"  
 
One woman cried out:  "I do!  I do!"
 
(This was my first experience with receiving a "word of knowledge", and delivering that word to the church.)
 
After that, I frequently had a word for the Bible class at church.  Our teacher would always say, "Does any one have a word from the Lord."  And after he asked that, I would deliver what I had heard from the Holy Spirit.
 
Often when I attended a prayer group or Bible class, God would give me a word for the group.  All I had to do is learn to yield myself to the Spirit and speak at an appropriate time during the meeting.
 
I Corinthians 14:32-33  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
 
40   Let all things be done decently and in order.

Jesus from heaven gives ministers to the church today:
 
Ephesians 4:8; 11-12   Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.   And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

As Paul was called by Jesus from heaven, so are we today called by Jesus and appointed to the work of various ministries for the church today.
 
Acts 9:1-6  And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,  And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt THOU have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
 
God may communicate with us in a slightly different way than HE did with Paul or Moses, but HE does reach us to show us that we have a call of God on our lives.

One day, I was driving down a road in my car and God spoke to me and said:  "I have called you and set you in the body of Christ as an apostle."
 
I cried out, "Apostle?  What's an apostle?"
 
(God had been strongly teaching me from the Bible about the work of a prophet and I believed that was likely my calling but I had no idea at all concerning the ministry work of an apostle.)
 
I never told anyone at that time about either of these callings.
 
So often God would give me one of the spiritual gifts when I attended a prayer group or Bible class and I always yielded to God and spoke as appropriate at the group.  But I never revealed a ministry calling to anyone by telling them the ministry offices to which I believed I was being trained by God.
 
I was attending Word of Faith church at the time these things happened to me and one Sunday morning from the pulpit, our pastor, Robert Tilton, said, "Joan Boney is not called as a teacher.  She is a prophetess."
 
I had never told anyone this anywhere.
 
When Bob said this, our Bible teacher said, "That's it!  A prophet."  I had been attending his class for about 4 years and often he wanted to tell his class that I was a teacher but he always had a "check" in his spirit when he started to say I was a teacher so he held back these words.   Now he knew!  I was a prophet!
 
But no one knew that I was also called as an apostle.  
 
(Remember how I was taken into heaven twice and merged into the body of Jesus, made one with the Word of God?)
 
After I heard from God concerning apostle, I went to the teacher of the Bible class and asked him, "Who are the apostles at our church group?"  He didn't know, though our church professed to believe there are apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in the NT churches today.
 
I asked our teacher, "What do the apostles do in the church."  He didn't know.
 
I had no human example of the work of an apostle, but God took me to the Bible to teach me.
 
Acts 15 ... a problem concerning church doctrine arose in the church.  The elders and apostles came to Jerusalem to discuss the matter and to present to the church the correct doctrine.
 
v. 6  And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.
 
The Pharisees brought an opinion.  Barnabas and Paul made a statement.  So did Peter.
 
Acts 15:13-20   And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:  Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for HIS name.  And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,  After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:  That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom MY name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.  Known unto God are all HIS works from the beginning of the world.19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:  But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
This pleased the group so they wrote to the Gentiles and told them these doctrinal decisions.
 
Today we have the NEW Testament Bible to show us doctrine and to establish the will of God, but many churches today have fallen away from specific Bible scriptures.
 
Apostles will try to reestablish the NT Bible doctrines in the hearts and minds of the elect of God.
 
I often speak concerning the following:  divorce and remarriage; homosexuals and lesbians; and other sins in the church, presenting scriptures and reasoning through the various scriptures on the issue at hand.
 
Some churches today get swept away from Bible doctrines in their desire to approve and please people of the world and to try to get these worldly people to "come to church".
 
But people are not born again through approval of sin.  People are born again when the Spirit of God shows them sin and they agree with the Holy Spirit of God, repenting and turning away from their sins, doing such sins no more!
 
The apostles and prophets today will never turn from the Holy Scriptures but will continually uphold scriptures before all.
 
These are perilous times as Paul said they would be in the end time church.
 
2 Timothy 3   Paul warns:
 
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.7  Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Taking thoughts captive

Thoughts come to us.  
 
Some thoughts are from our own flesh and those things taught by men of this world.  
 
Some thoughts are from devils who would like to destroy us and will destroy us if we allow him to do so.
 
John 10:10  Jesus says:  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
 
I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith,
 
James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
 
And some thoughts are sent to our minds by God by HIS Holy Spirit!
 
God helps us and restores us to His way and leads us to salvation through HIS Word.
 
We follow what God says to us.

The devil sends negative thoughts to our mind and will destroy us if we allow him to do so.  
 
The devil especially hates the Word of God and will often condemn you when you speak to others telling them of scriptures or of that which God has done in your life.
 
Romans 8:33-34  Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.Who is he that condemneth?
 
The devil condemns us by bringing destructive thoughts to our mind, especially when we are trying to follow God or do the work of God.

We must pay attention and deal with each destructive thought in a spiritual way, through turning to God in prayer and asking God to confirm us and establish us again in what HE wants us to do or say.
 
Thus the apostle Paul instructs:
 
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
 
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
 
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
 
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ (The Word);
 
It is critical for us to understand how to take thoughts captive ... and for us to take each thought captive to bring that thought into agreement with The Word of God, the Holy Bible.

Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

That power that works in us is the power of God from the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth, reminds us of that which Jesus has said, teaches us all things, and shows us things to come.  
(John 14:26 and John 16:13)
 
As we follow the ideas that come from God we are greatly blessed.
 
James 3
 
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
 
Matthew 11
 
28 Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.
If a plan will greatly burden you and is overly expensive and complex, this is not a plan for you.  Return to God and ask God for HIS wisdom.  HE will give you wisdom.  (a promise from God.)
 
James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

The righteousness which is of God by faith (Philippians 3:9)

We believe it is God speaking to us by HIS Spirit, therefore we speak by faith.
 
God, by the Holy Spirit, reminds us of all that Jesus has said.  We speak that word when we are with other people.  When a scripture comes to our mind, we know it is God who has brought that scripture to our mind so we share that scripture when we are with other people.  When a concept comes to mind, we believe God brought that concept to mind, so we share that.  We do not speak of our own cleverness as the world does to impress people.  We do the work of God by sharing that which is brought to our mind by the Spirit of God.
 
Jesus said:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (Jn. 14:26)
 
When we are reminded of a scripture, we know it is the Holy Spirit who has brought that scripture to our mind.  We share that!
 
We do not try to speak.  We simply speak if God reminds us of a scripture or a concept.
