Building your house on the word from God

My help cometh from the LORD who made heaven and the earth (Psalm 121:2)

Is anything too hard for the God who made the heavens and the earth?
 
My faith in God soars each time I remember this!
 
And if I pray according to the will of God, that prayer will be answered by God.
 
I Jn. 5:14-15   And this is the confidence that we have in HIM, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, HE heareth us:  And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of HIM.
 
It is so easy for the elect of God, for God has given to each of the elect HIS Spirit to live inside each of the elect of God.
 
I Cor. 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
 
It is not that we "try" to be godly.  We are godly because the Spirit of God lives in us.  And we follow HIM, doing godly things.
 
The Spirit who lives in us is the Spirit of Truth, The Comforter.  HE will guide us into all truth.  
HE will teach us all things.  HE will remind us of all that Jesus has said.  HE will show us things to come.  
 
Jn. 14:26   Jesus says:  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
Jn. 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE  shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
 
The Holy Spirit who lives inside of each of us who are the elect of God, searches the heart of God to reveal to us the will of God in the specific issues of this present life so we can go in the way of God in that matter.
 
I Cor. 2:9-13   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.  But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
 
Jesus says to us:
 
John 10:10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
 
When we follow HIM, doing what HE says, things are even more abundant for us than we had planned for ourselves!

Avoid speculations telling what ”might” happen. The Bible tells us what will happen.

Speculations as to what might happen often lead a person into fearful thoughts and can even cause a person to take up unneeded actions producing a lack of faith in God.
 
I have begun to avoid TV shows where people give their own opinions, speculating as to what might happen.
 
I find I live in more peace since doing that.

We bring unnecessary trouble upon ourselves when we watch fearful things such as TV news.
 
Focus on such things as the following scriptures:
 
James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
 
Concerning the end times, Jesus warned us:
 
Matthew 24
 
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
We must eliminate from our lives those things which fight against the Word of God and bring fear.

This time we now live in is very dangerous.  
 
2 Timothy 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
 
There are many things on TV which I have chosen not to watch because they bring fear and fight the truth of the scriptures.  
 
Also often on TV we see women who are almost naked and flaunt evil by their ungodly dress and manner.  
 
Recently a shockingly dressed woman appeared on TV screen and I thought, "I wish they would stop that woman from wearing these things."  
 
And immediately I heard this from the Holy Spirit:  "You can control this by turning the TV off."
 
This is true! 
 
(This was a report on NFL-TV .  I turned this off and have never watched that sports show since I heard this from the Holy Spirit.)
 
I'm also very shocked by the way gambling has moved into various sporting events with TV showing individuals how they can place bets on college and professional events.
 
One TV sports announcer, former football quarterback Dru Breeze, is now doing sports betting commercials on TV and shortly after his gambling commercial, he presented another commercial concerning Prayer.  (I was very shocked!  But this just shows one example of the increase of iniquity of the end times.)
 
Living in peace is critical for us.
 
Philippians 2:12  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Titus 3:9  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
 
2 Timothy 2:23  But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
 
Proverbs 3:5-7  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

You can’t teach unclean spirits. All you can do is cast them out.

Acts 16
 
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.  And he came out the same hour.

That unclean spirit spoke through the girl and they even speak in the voice of the human.
 
Everything that spirit said through this girl was correct, but Paul was grieved when she spoke because she spoke to the church by an "unclean spirit".
 
I've had several times when unclean spirits spoke "right things" to me but I was grieved.  (I often felt guilty because of the way I felt when this person spoke.)  But now I understand these people who grieved me spoke by an "unclean spirit.")
 
Many times in the past years since I have been writing on our blog on the internet, I've received emails from men who said they were "pastors".  But when they wrote to me, I was grieved.  These were unclean spirits speaking through those pastors.  
 
Without exception they started with flattering words telling me how much my writings meant to them.  Also without exception they went on to say they wanted me to send them money or Bibles or my books.  And always they wanted prayer for their works.  
 
And they asked me to come to their countries, on other side of world from USA, at my own expense and help them with their ministries.  Often they want me to supervise their preaching.  I explained if Jesus called them to be a minister, HE will teach them how to do that ministry work.

In 2021, God began showing unclean spirits speaking through men who say they are ministers who have been contacting me from around the world. They want me to come to their city or village and help them with their ministry.  Often they live in the Philippines, or in Africa, or India, far away from where I live in USA.  It would cost a lot of money to go there and they never offer to pay any of my expenses.  Usually they ask me to send money to them for their ministries.  They also ask me to send Bibles and books. They tell me how much the message I speak helps them and their church group.  And often they want me to be their "supervisor", looking over their works and advising them.  I always tell them if Jesus called them to be a minister then Jesus will teach them and show them what to do,  Often they make me feel guilty.
 
Jesus says:  Matthew 24:4-5   Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
 
What they ask me to do is opposite from the assignment that I know to be from God.  
 
God assigned me to write a blog daily edifying the church in spiritual matters.  Also God gave me a dream to show me to record a Podcast daily to instruct the church in spiritual growth.  
 
It would be impossible for me to travel to foreign places and keep up the daily writings for the blog and Podcast, especially at my age.
 
And what they want me to do would end up in my destruction for I am 84 years old now and I cannot walk.  To do what I am doing is all that I can deal with in both energy and money.  And it is my assignment from God.
 
Jesus says:
 
John 10:10

As it is now, I can remain at home and write and record exhortations from my bed room and send these messages all over the world at almost no cost to me.
 
This is the ministry given me by God and I am diligent and faithful to do this ministry to edify the church.
 
Devils in religious types would destroy us if they can get us to follow them and do what they say.

Response to email which I received in January 2022 from man who says he is a pastor.
 
If you are a pastor, as you said you are, it is a shame, for a man such as you, to be writing asking a woman to send him money, as you did in your email to me, even asking twice for money.  If you are of God, then God will provide all your need if HE tells you to do something.
 
You have an unclean spirit in you.  IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, I COMMAND THAT UNCLEAN SPIRIT TO LEAVE YOU AND TO RETURN TO YOU NO MORE.
 
Second:  If you had asked God, before asking me to come to Kenya and help you, God would have stopped you.  I am 84 years old and am a cripple.  I would never survive such a trip to Kenya. 
 
I have my own ministry assignment from God:  To write exhortations for the church on Internet and to record Podcasts which go all over the world.

Faith is evidence that we believe

Hebrews 11
 
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Our faith in God and in that which God has said to us is evidence that we believe.
When I fell at my house in Texas and the ambulance workers were rolling me on a gurney past my front door, I heard a word from God.
 
"You'll never see this house again."
 
I even rejoiced at that which I heard for I knew God had another place prepared for me and it would even be better than that place which I was leaving.
 
I put my house up for sale even from the hospital.
 
One of our church group said to me, "I just don't see how you can do this."
 
I replied:  "I've heard from God that I will never see this house again."
 
I was in rehabilitation hospitals for the next 2 l/2 months, after which God moved me directly from the hospital in Texas to Colorado Springs, Colorado.
 
I never saw that house in Texas again, just as God said to me as they were taking me to the hospital in Texas.
 
The "evidence" of what I did by putting that house up for sale showed my faith in that which God had said to me about that house.

Faith is one of the spiritual gifts.
 
I Corinthians 12
 
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE will.12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
 
I just know God will do all that HE says HE will do.

Building a root system to enable you to do the Word of God

3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

To develop a good root system for the word to grow in us:  
 
We keep that word before us day and night, thinking on that word, and applying that word to our lives by doing that word.
 
Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Collect scriptures that are illuminated to you by the Holy Spirit:
 
As we read the Bible, the Holy Spirit will cause certain scriptures to stand out to us. 
 
Put those scriptures into a collection of scriptures so you can focus on those verses, making them a part of your life.
 
I make a screen print of those scriptures, adding them to my Kindle tablet photo album.  Sometimes I review them each morning and before I go to sleep at night.  Other times, God will call them to my attention and I will go to my Photo Album and review them again.  I'm always strengthened and comforted when God reminds me to look at these scripture again.
 
As new scriptures are given me through the years, I add those scriptures to my collection of scriptures and meditate on them to enable me to do them in my life, thus making them a part of my life by doing those verses.

22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
 
Sometimes I send myself an email of scriptures and then send that email to my Kindle Photo Album.
 
Sometimes I make a copy of some of the scriptures in our blog and put that in my Kindle Photo Album.
 
The collection of scriptures are personal, given to me through the years by God to fit what I need, and they help me greatly and I endure, continuing to do the word.

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks

That which is hidden in our heart will come out our mouth at some point in time and by that which man speaks we know what he is.
 
Recently I had an appointment with a new eye doctor:  Three times during that appointment this doctor mentioned "cocktail hours".  I could tell he very much liked drinking.  Once he mentioned how much money those eye surgeons make.  (I could tell what was in his heart by that which came out of his mouth.)
 
An exterminator came to do some work at our house.  He said, "You can always pray that the mice will go to the house of a neighbor that you hate."  I replied:  "I don't hate any of my neighbors."  Later he began talking about being a Christian and he even tried to tell me that each summer he does ministry work with a friend in various cities. (But I was warned about this man by that which he said about the neighbors. He has some evil in his heart.)
 
Shortly after we purchased a new car, we had some problems with the car and had to take it back to the dealer for modifications.  One of Pam's neighbors learned of this and she said, "You should make that dealer give you another new car."  (I knew God was warning me about the trouble this woman would bring to those who allowed her to be around them.)

Jesus said:
 
Matthew 12
33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
But we are warned by that which comes out of their mouth. 
 
And we are warned also by those words that come from our own mouths, for if we find ourselves speaking evil, then evil has gotten into our hearts.
 
For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
(Matthew 12)
 
If this happens to us, we can pray as David prayed:
 
Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

We can know what is in another person if we will listen to what that person says.
 
Matthew 10:16  Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.Matthew 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
 
Pay attention to that which they speak, to that which they desire, to that which excites them.  
 
They will reveal the truth of what they are by their words and by that spirit which comes forth from them.
 
Do not allow yourselves to be deceived by another person for deception will be rampant in the end time days.  You will know them by the words they speak.  You will know what is in their hearts by the words which come from their mouths.

Matthew 10:26  Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
 
I never look for evil, but when it comes forth I usually recognize that evil which I have heard from their mouths.  Therefore I am warned by God.

Money

There has been a strong increase in the world toward gambling and gaining money from men.
 
Shortly after I was born again, I saw the following scripture which greatly influenced me.
 
Genesis 14  (Abraham said)
 
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich:
Since that time, when I hear of people winning the Lottery, I find myself saying to God:  "I don't want the riches of man.  I only want that which YOU provide for me,"
 
As long as we live on this earth God provides for us and God's provision for us is even "exceeding abundantly" above all that we ask or think. 
Ephesians 3:20  Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
 
I would not want to trade what God will give me for that which man would give me.  I want what God would give me.
 
In our hearts we must feel this way!
 
And we know this also:
 
Philippians 4:19  But my God shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
 
I know in my heart this is true!

Unclean ”religious” spirits in people at religious gatherings

In the end times, Jesus said many would say HE is the Christ and they would deceive many.
 
Matthew 24 
 
3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of THY coming, and of the end of the world?4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Mark 3
 
11 And unclean spirits, when they saw HIM, fell down before HIM, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.In these cases, it is not the Spirit of God acknowledging Jesus but an unclean spirit in a person speaking. 
And that unclean spirit is in that person and speaks through that person, even in that person's voice.
 
(Often that person will have no memory later of speaking such a thing as he spoke.)
 
12 And HE (Jesus) straitly charged them that they should not make HIM known.

Several years ago, I visited a non-denominational church.  Pastor was teaching the Sunday school class.  All of a sudden a woman in the congregation jumped up and began waving her arms in the air and started shouting, "Praise God ... Praise God" and she ran completely around the chairs as she shouted!  
 
I was horrified.  
 
But the pastor and congregation got very excited and laughed and shouted.  
 
They thought this was the Holy Spirit but I knew it was "another spirit".
 
This woman should have been stopped from speaking and that unclean spirit cast out of her.

The apostle Paul did not allow that girl with the fortunetelling-spirit to continue to speak as she followed him around:
 
Acts 16

The words this woman spoke were right but she spoke by an unclean spirit which grieved Paul and Paul would not allow it to continue.

As I read Mark 3:11, I also thought of the numerous times individuals in a church group, often during song service, will begin waving hands in the air seeming to be in some kind of "religious trance" .  
 
That spirit in them that seems to be praising God grieves me!   
 
I believe these persons have in themselves unclean spirits as are in Mark 3:11.  
 
(I often felt some strange spirit seeming to be religious operating in those individuals.)
 
Devils like to do things which appear to be religious, making that person they are living in to seem special in religious ways.

Often individuals at church have come to me saying they saw an angel.
 
I've never seen an angel that I know of, but I believe I have heard a word of God from an angel speaking to me.  
 
In the night, shortly after I was born again, I was sleeping when a very loud trumpet-like voice blasted 3 words into my ear:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"  (By this God caused me to go on radio, exhorting the church in the Word of God.)
 
When an angel carries a message to us, it is very important.
 
Often in the Bible we read about angels delivering messages.
 
But when church people have come reporting that they saw an angel, I did not benefit but felt them to be "puffed up", and their reports grieved me.

Those who were offended with Jesus looked for wrong doing in Jesus

1 And HE (Jesus) entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.2 And they watched HIM, whether HE would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse HIM.3 And HE saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.4 And HE saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.5 And when HE had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, HE saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against HIM, how they might destroy HIM.

If we allow ourselves to be offended by that which someone says to us, evil will go into our hearts against that person and we will be perverted in our hearts even looking for that person to do wrong that we may accuse him, and our judgment against that person might even be evil because of the evil that lodged in our own heart.
 
If we have taken offense against another person, we must turn to God to allow God to heal our hearts.
 
Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

The body and blood of Jesus

The Lord's Supper is the partaking of the Word of God.

33 For the bread of God is HE which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
(The bread of God is Jesus, the Word of God, that comes to us from heaven.)
 
35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to ME shall never hunger; and he that believeth on ME shall never thirst.
(Believe on The Word who is Jesus.)

When a problem strikes, usually all of a sudden, I know I often panic, not knowing what to do in the midst of the problem.  I might even jump to doing something, just anything to make the problem go away and to make the bad thoughts stop coming!  
 
It is when I remember to call on God for HIS help when the problem strikes that I have the solution given by God and that always works and peace is restored through God when HE shows me what to do or gives me a scripture to believe in.
 
In 2021, negative thoughts began bombarding my mind all of a sudden.  
 
I cried out: "God help me!"  And instantly the Holy Spirit brought to my mind:  "God will supply all your need."
 
"That's right!"  I cried out.
 
Joy and peace returned instantly because I believed that Word brought to me by the Holy Spirit.
 
When we call on God, we put our trust in God.  (Recently God showed me this concept.)

Sometimes God will give us a scripture ... other times when we call for help, God will tell us something to do to fix the problem.
 
One day, I went to my car and turned the key in the ignition and nothing happened!  I found myself speaking to God immediately:  "What am I going to do about this?"
 
(It was a Friday afternoon at about 5 PM.)
 
I had this thought from God:  "Quickly ... call your mechanic."
 
I hurried back into my house and called mechanic and he said:  "I was just going out the door to go home, but I will bring a battery to you as I go home and will fix your car."

Call on God!  Pray!
 
Philippians 4:6-7
 
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Sometimes I will just start thanking God for those things for which I am thankful and everything changes.
 
Often I will say to God:  "Please fill my day with that which YOU want me to do."
 
Everything has to do with God and with turning to God for help.
 
And every time we pray, we put our trust in God with each prayer.

Today God gives us a new heart and a new spirit so we can now follow HIM, doing HIS righteousness

Genesis 6
 
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
 
11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.
So God said HE would give man a new heart and a new spirit:
 
Ezekiel 36  God says:
 
23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them.
When we are chosen by God and set into the body of Christ today, born again by God's Spirit, God gives us that promised "new heart and new spirit", and because of that we hear from the Spirit of God and do the good will of God on this earth.
 
John 5:30   Jesus said:  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
 
As born again Christians God has given to us that promised new heart and new spirit.  Now we can choose to go in the way of the Spirit doing good rather than doing the evil works of the flesh.
 
The apostle Paul says:
 
Romans 7:18  For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:
 
But God gives us a new heart and a new spirit so we can know the good way of God and we can choose the way of God as the Holy Spirit of God reminds us of the way of God as the flesh rises up in us in times of temptation.
 
Therefore Paul explains:
 
Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
 
The flesh would lead us to do the works of the flesh, but the Holy Spirit reminds us of the way of God and we choose to do the way of God as shown us by the Holy Spirit of God who lives in us.
 
Thus we choose the way of God and rejoice that we now have the Spirit of God to show us the way of God in the temptation that we do not follow our own flesh but follow God's way.
 
Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
 
I don't believe man knows good except as God reveals to man good.  Mostly man just tries to justify his own self in front of other men.
 
As we do what God shows us to do and to say by HIS Spirit we justify God and godliness.  And because we follow what we are told by the Spirit we walk in God's righteousness and are righteous because we go in God's way.
 
But of our own self we can do nothing.  
 
We hear from God and therefore know what to do in the problems of this life.

The second coming of Jesus differs from the first coming

In Matthew 9:13, Jesus said: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

The first time Jesus walked on this earth in the flesh of a man, it was to call sinners to repentance.
 
But the next time Jesus appears, it will all be over!  At that time the righteous, those who are born again of HIS Spirit, will be taken off this present earth and will be taken into the new heaven and new earth which has been prepared by God for them.
 
And at that time all persons will be judged and will receive either reward or damnation at the judgment seat of Christ.
 
II Corinthians 5:10  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

The first coming of Jesus was to call sinners to repentance.
 
The next coming of Jesus will be to gather the righteous and to judge the unbelievers.
 
Therefore we are told in Matthew 24 that when Jesus comes through the clouds "all tribes of the earth will mourn when they see HIM", for judgment is upon them and the end of this world has come.
 
Matthew 24
 
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

There will be no more time for man to do works, whether good or bad.
 
It will all be over.
 
And man will then be judged for that which he has done in his life on this earth, whether it be good or bad.
 
And God will destroy this present heaven and earth with fire.
 
2 Peter 3
 
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

II Timothy 3
 
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
All scripture is considered to be of God since it is inspired by God, thus by Jesus.  We build our house on both the Old and New Testaments, except we no longer do the animal sacrifices of the Old Testament for sins.  Jesus paid for our sins by HIS own sacrifice, by HIS own blood.

We read the Bible and when a scripture "jumps out at us", this scripture is illuminated to us by the Holy Spirit and we meditate for a time on that scripture to enable us to do that scripture.
 
Joshua 1:8  This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
 
(Be sure to do that scripture.  We are conformed to the image of Christ each time we do that scripture which the Holy Spirit enlightens to us.)
 
It is like we are on God's highway, starting on one road by a scripture and we stay on that road by doing that scripture, applying that instruction to our life.  
 
Then the Holy Spirit will bring to our mind another scripture and we travel on that road doing that scripture.  Then there will be another scripture, then another, then another.
 
God uses scripture to get each of HIS children to the place where they will fulfill HIS will on this earth.  God constructs us by HIS scripture and we are "HIS" house, special, fulfilling HIS will, born in HIS image through HIS Word.
 
I Peter 2
 
1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.6 Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on HIM shall not be confounded.
(We believe "on HIM", on Jesus, each time we do the Word and continue to do that instruction given in that Word.)7 Unto you therefore which believe HE is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of HIM who hath called you out of darkness into HIS marvellous light:10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
 
Each scripture becomes a part of us as we do that scripture.
 
James 1:22  But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Amos 5:15

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

As we continue to try to live in the Spirit of God, following that which God has put in our hearts, we find we do not want to participate in the evil.  There are things on TV we turn from.  We are not growing in evil as we follow God but rather we love the good spoken by the Holy Spirit and we know the fruits of the Spirit of God and hate the works of the flesh.
 
The works of the flesh are evil.
 
Galatians 5
 
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Judging

When we judge from our own fleshly thinking, we do evil.  But when God shows us something by HIS Spirit it is another matter.  Often we are warned by God by the Spirit of Truth.
 
Jesus says:
 
John 5:30  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Several years ago, I was playing golf with a Church of Christ woman and a Methodist woman.
 
The Methodist woman began speaking against people who judge other people and the Holy Spirit said a word to me which I spoke aloud:
 
"If you judge someone is judging aren't you judging?"
 
The Methodist woman gasped!
 
It was like a pin bursting a balloon filled with hot air.
 
Hebrews 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

In 1982, God said to me:  "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."
 
I didn't know what that meant.  But a few days later God opened my eyes to see sins being committed by some big-time radio/TV ministers.

When something comes from the Holy Spirit, it is usually very clear to me that this ”word” is from the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit brings to us ideas and thoughts that are from God. The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God and the Holy Spirit is truth in the matter at hand so we can know the will of God and go that way or speak that thing.  The Holy Spirit reminds us of scripture showing us truth and the way to go.
 
When we hear a word from the Holy Spirit and we go that way, then we walk in the Spirit.
 
The apostle Paul says:

Our righteousness must be of God, not of ourselves

One day, I was reading a scripture and God opened my understanding concerning our righteousness being of God:
 
Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the LORD.
 
When God tells us to do something or to say something and we do what we have heard from God, then our righteousness is of God, authored by God.
 
God gave Joshua an assignment, then God said to Joshua:
 
Joshua 1:9  Have not I commanded thee?
 
So in all that we do or say, we should be examining ourselves: "Did God show me to do this?"  
 
If God has told us to do something or to say something, then our righteousness is of God when we do or say that thing.

The Holy Spirit is the Comforter

In 2022, I had several dreams showing the same theme:  "I was going in opposite way of the other cars.  They were on a "one way" street.  It was a bad part of town."
 
I was very troubled by this dream.  I kept praying each time I would have this dream.  I couldn't see anything I was doing that was wrong.  I turned to God and told HIM I really needed to have HIS wisdom on this.
 
After I prayed that, the Holy Spirit, THE COMFORTER, began giving me understanding.
 
(Often things of God seem one way until God allows us to see through HIS vision.)
 
I was going the opposite way on a one way street.  It looked as if my car might get damaged but in the dream nothing happened to me though I was going opposite to everyone around me.
 
It took me a very few seconds to accept this understanding from God for it seemed I was so wrong.
 
The bad part of town in the dream was "the world".  
 
The area was run down, decayed, dangerous.  They go by their own understanding. 
 
Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
 
I was very comforted when I received the interpretation from "The Comforter" , The Holy Spirit.
 
In the dream, I was going the opposite direction from the way this world is going and it looked as if I would be destroyed but I was not hurt.  This world is heading "one way" to destruction.  I am going the opposite way from this world.
 
John 14:26  Jesus says:
 
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
Often we see the way the world is going and "The Comforter" brings to our mind a section of scripture reminding us of the way of God.
 
Sometimes we will think we are wrong because we are going an opposite way of this world but "The Comforter" shows us to hold fast to the way of God which is salvation to us in all things.
 
Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Matthew 6  (Jesus says)
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall HE not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
In all our ways we follow that which the Spirit of God brings to our mind, for it is of God and is the way of God at that point in time, and as we go in God's way we go in HIS righteousness for HE authored that which we do and say by bringing it to our mind by HIS Holy Spirit.  And we follow that which God says to us, doing that and saying that which is from God.
 
The Holy Spirit is truth:
 
Jesus says:
 
John 16:13   Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.Live in peace by doing the following scripture in all concerns of this life:

Each time we pray we put our trust in God.

Matthew 6:19-21

Jesus says:
 
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

I believe we lay up treasure in heaven every time we do a scripture, conforming ourselves to the word of God as we do the word of God.
 
Every time God speaks to us through HIS Spirit and we yield to the Holy Spirit and do and say that thing, I believe we lay up treasure in heaven.
 
All that we can see with our natural eye will be destroyed by God in the end of this world.
 
II Peter 3
 
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

I Corinthians 14:34-35

I Corinthians 14
 
34  Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

After God revealed to me that I was to be a minister, I said, "What about what Paul said in I Cor. 14 concerning women speaking in the church?"
 
God said to me, "Look at what these women were doing."
 
When I re-read I Cor. 14, I felt these women at church were disrupting the church gathering by asking questions.  Thus Paul stopped them and said: 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Also God reminded me that Philip, the evangelist, had 4 daughters who did prophesy.  
 
Prophecy is for the church.  
 
These daughters would have to speak to the church to prophesy.
 
Acts 21:8-9  And the next day we that were of Paul's company departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

And God reminded me of Anna.
 
Luke 2
 
36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;37And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.38 And she coming in that instant (as they brought the baby Jesus to the temple) gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of HIM to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
(We see this prophet Anna spoke to the people.)

And God reminded me of Deborah:
 
Judges 4
 
4 And Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, she judged Israel at that time.5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount Ephraim: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.

By these scriptures I could see women speaking to the church, edifying the church, as prophets of God.
 
I was called to be an apostle & prophet.  Apostles deal with church doctrine.  Prophets often bring instruction and especially correction to the church and to individuals in the church.
 
In 1 Corinthians 14, I felt Paul was speaking of women in the church who were asking questions at church and disrupting the church gathering with their questions.
 
I believe God showed me by the above scriptures that women were appointed by HIM to work as prophets in the church and did work as prophets in both the Old and New Testaments.
 
Therefore I submitted to the calling of God for me in the church.

God taught me not to live by the way of this world.  Instead live a debt free life.

I set about to do these two scriptures and miracles of God occurred in my life.

Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus says:
 
28 Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.29 Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.30 For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.

Shortly after I was born again in 1975, I was reading this scripture in Matthew 11:28-30, and the Holy Spirit opened my eyes to see:
 
"When you are going in the plan of God, HIS yoke is easy."
 
If we are going in the plan of men, the way will be difficult, complex, hard to do, and often overly expensive.
 
James 3:17  But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
 
For the next 40-years, I lived by these principles:  If something is very complex or overly expensive, I do not have the plan of God.  When that is the case, I pray again asking God for HIS Wisdom.
 
James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Matthew 16:13-18

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, HE asked HIS disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
 
Upon the Word which God reveals to you from heaven the church is built.
