Philippians 4:6

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Pray over every problem that surfaces ... Pray over every concern ... Pray over destructive thoughts ... When we begin to feel "down" pray, asking for God to show us what to do that day, to fill our time.  In everything, pray ... first.
 
There is a a promise from God attached to this prayer when we remember to pray.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
 
Do you find sometimes you have a problem and you forget to pray and you wrestle about with what you should do? Then you remember to pray.
 
Instead: Learn to turn to God immediately, which causes us to avoid much unnecessary trouble or worrying.
 
Learn to rest in God after prayer, waiting on HIM to bring the way to go to your mind.  Trust in God to do that.
 
Many Christians fail to do this and they live defeated, troubled lives and they continue in a problem which God would resolve for them if only they remembered to pray.
 
Sometimes I forget to pray.  But then when I remember to pray, I am helped instantly and it is like a weight lifts from off my shoulders after I pray.

Controlling your tongue through prayer

James 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

One way we can "bridle our own tongue" is by praying instead of saying that which we want to say.
 
Often I will just say, "God, please help me not to say that!"
 
And when I say that to God, HE stops me from speaking that which might hurt another person.

Proverbs 3:5-7

There are many examples of God using dreams throughout the New Testament Bible to show HIS people what to do.
 
* God shows Joseph to continue in his plan to marry Mary.
 
Matthew 1
 
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
God often uses dreams to change the direction we had planned.

* God uses a dream to instruction the 3 wise men who visit the baby Jesus.
 
Matthew 2
 
1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
 
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
 
Joseph did exactly what he heard from God to do.  Joseph even fled by night with no hesitation. 
 
In Matthew 2, there are other examples of God using dreams to show Joseph what to do.
 
Matthew 2
 
19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.21And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
Joseph obeyed that instruction given to him by God in the dream.

* God instructs Ananias through a vision:
 
Acts 9
 
9 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Through the New Testament Bible, we have many examples of God using dreams, visions, and angels to communicate with HIS people.
When we see such in the New Testament Bible, we have an assurance that what God did then for HIS people HE can also do now with us.
 
I've had many dreams and open visions.  And one time I believe an angel of God spoke to me as I was sleeping to give me instruction concerning what I was to do.

When Jesus returns, HE will destroy the religious idols

Micah 1
1 The word of the LORD that came to Micah ...
7 And all the graven images thereof shall be beaten to pieces, and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire, and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shall return to the hire of an harlot.
 
Religious idols are those things we can see with our natural eyes.
 
Some idols which people put their trust in today are their church buildings, their ministers, their crosses and other medallions which they proudly wear around their necks and touch with their fingers from time to time.
 
John 4  (Jesus says)
 
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.
We cannot see a spirit.  Neither can we touch a spirit.
 
If we can see something that makes us feel religious, we are trusting in idols, and we will fall in the end.

Joel prophesies the giving of the Holy Spirit of God to all people of God: The New Testament Church

The prophet Joel tells of the time of the New Testament church that was to come in the days ahead. 
 
Joel 2
 
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out MY spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out MY spirit.
The apostle Peter explained at the day of Pentecost this prophecy spoken by Joel was that which they were seeing and hearing as they heard the people of God speaking to them in their native tongues.
 
Acts 2
 
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
 
Peter explains:
 
Acts 2
 
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of MY Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
 
This announced the time of the New Testament Chruch and the Day of the Lord and the coming of the end of this present world.
 
Jesus had paid for sins of man with HIS own blood and Jesus was now ascended into heaven where Jesus set up HIS New Testament Church and gave ministers to HIS church for the perfecting of the saints.
 
The days of the Old Testament ended and the New Covenant began and so also began the last days with this event.
 
Hebrews 8
 
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
 
The New Testament Church begins at the day of Pentecost with the giving of the Holy Spirit to all people of God!
 
And the difference is very great for the church with the coming of the Holy Spirit to each individual who belongs to God.

Encouragement: The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

The children of Judah were taken into Babylon because God turned them over to Nebuchadnezzar for a 70-year captivity, because of the sins they committed against God. 
 
They lived in the captivity as servants to the king of Babylon and to the people of Babylon.
 
Daniel was one of those taken into captivity.  And 3 other men of God, renamed in the captivity by the names of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego also served the king of Babylon.
 
 
Daniel 3
 
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
 
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down to the idol set up by Nebuchadnezzar.
 
Daniel 3
 
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
 
They said to the king of Babylon when they were told they would be thrown into a fiery furnace if they did not bow down to the idol of gold:
 
Daniel 3
 
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and HE will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Daniel thrown into the lion’s den

Daniel was captive in Babylon along with the nation of Judah.
 
But God gave Daniel the interpretation of dreams and because of this gift, Daniel came into great favor with Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon.  This favor of the king toward Daniel caused the men of Babylon to envy Daniel and they sought a way to destroy Daniel.
 
After the death of Nebuchadnezzar and the subsequent death of the son of the king who came to be king after his father, Darius ruled the kingdom.
 
Daniel 6
 
1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.
(Daniel did not shut his windows nor try to hide the fact that he continued to pray to God.)11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? 
The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. 
Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for HE is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and HIS kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and HIS dominion shall be even unto the end.27 HE delivereth and rescueth, and HE worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

Daniel, a great man of God, who is taken into Babylon with the captivity

God ordained 70-years of captivity for the nation of Judah because of their sins against HIM and their continued disobedience to God.
 
The king of Babylon came at the appointed time and gathered them and destroyed many of the houses of Jerusalem and carried the people of Judah in captivity, taking them into Babylon.
 
Daniel was among those taken to Babylon.
 
Daniel 1
 
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.

This appointed captivity was for 70-years.
 
During this time there were several kings ruling over Babylon.  One king would die and another would take his place.
 
So Daniel lived under the rule of Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus.
16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.

The apostasy of the end time church before Jesus returns

II Thessalonians 2
 
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
In 1982, I was reading this passage of scripture and God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches but rather the falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures."
 
In the New American Standard Bible, this "falling away" is called, the apostasy.

I've never heard the following doctrine taught at any church that I have attended.
 
Jesus says:
 
Matthew 5:32   But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
 
* The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
 
* The divorced woman who remarries commits adultery but her husband who divorced her will be the cause of her adultery.
 
Concerning homosexuals and lesbians, I've never heard the following scriptures taught at any church that I have attended.
 
Romans 1
 
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

So I grieved greatly when I witnessed pastors adding things to the Bible that are not written in the Bible.
 
And I grieved greatly when I witnessed pastors eliminating instructions which are written in the New Testament Bible while failing to present to their congregations the instructions given by the Holy Scriptures.

In 2017, God opened my eyes to see that the removal of portions of scripture is the apostasy that would come in the end time churches before the judgment.
 
By scriptures such as the following God showed me antichrist comes through the churches. 
 
And I also saw by these scriptures that antichrist had been working in the churches since the time of the apostles John and Paul.
 
I John 2:18-19   Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
 
And the apostle Paul said the following to the elders at the church at Ephesus.
 
Acts 20:29-30  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
 
Antichrist was sitting among those elders at the church at Ephesus and they were just waiting for Paul to leave so then they could bring their own perverse doctrines into the church group at Ephesus.

When Jesus returns, HE will destroy the apostate churches.
 
II Thessalonians 2
 
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

We endure to the end by remembering that which God has done

Concerning the end times, Jesus says the following:
 
Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
 
We endure by keeping before our minds those things God has done in the Bible as-well-as those things God has done in our own lives.

God made many promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob which God fulfilled in the lives of Joseph and Moses.
 
God delivered the children of Israel from the bondage of Egypt as God promised HE would do, 
 
As we reread of this deliverance in Exodus 3-15, God is made very real to us and we are strengthened in God, helping us to endure.
 
As we think of that time when God caused us to be born again and of the times God has helped us in various problems of this life, we are helped to endure to the end.

As we keep God before us, in our memory of that which God has done, we endure through HIM.
 
Hebrews 11
 
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.
 
We also endure by seeing God who is invisible as we view situations and things and see God behind these current events of our lives.
 
The world sees the mountain and they marvel at the mountain.
 
We see the invisible, God who created the heavens and the earth, and we marvel at God.
 
And because we keep God in our thoughts, God causes us to endure to the end of our time on this present earth.
 
We endure through God.

The New Testament Church and the end time apostate churches of antichrist

Worship God in Spirit and in truth.  Religious idols are those things you can see with your natural eyes.

19 The woman (at the well in Samaria) saith unto HIM, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.21  Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.
A spirit cannot be seen.
 
Moses saw HIM who is invisible and by that Moses could endure.
 
Hebrews 11

Each of us believe God has shown us some things and because we believe we act accordingly.  So we do according to our faith in specific subjects.  And through our faith in what God has shown us, we can do things that the people of the world cannot do.

Concerning antichrist ... Antichrist was already there at the time of the apostles Paul and John.

Men who were "antichrist" were sitting there in the group of elders at Ephesus and they were just waiting until Paul was gone so they could speak and set up their own doctrines and get others to follow their doctrines which were antichrist, opposite to the teaching of Jesus.
 
Hence we have all these denominations spreading doctrine of antichrist, opposite to that doctrine which we see in the New Testament Bible.

Denominations are already trying to divide the body of Christ.
 
I Corinthians 3
 
1  And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.2  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
(One says, "I'm Baptist."  Another says, "I'm Methodist."  All this brings division to the body of Christ.)
 
Those of us who are born of God have been given one heart and one spirit which is of God.
 
But many in churches today are not born again.
 
When we are born again God has spoken to us and given us a new heart and a new Spirit. And we are then one in Christ and united through God.  Then we simply identify ourselves as being Christians.
 
But some will ask us which church we go to.  And by doing this they would divide us from others.  They are carnal,
 
Ephesus 4
 
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
 
When we belong to God, we know God has changed us by giving us HIS heart and a new Spirit, HIS Spirit.

Jesus will be born of a virgin and HIS father is the Holy Spirit of God.

Jesus brings another Spirit to us.
 
Luke 9
 
51  And it came to pass, when the time was come that HE should be received up, HE stedfastly set HIS face to go to Jerusalem,52 And sent messengers before HIS face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for HIM.53 And they did not receive HIM, because HIS face was as though HE would go to Jerusalem.54 And when HIS disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt THOU that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?55 But HE turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

God gives HIS Holy Spirit to all who are the elect of God, to all those born again who are the New Testament Church.
 
Hebrews 1
 
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by HIS Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by Whom also HE made the worlds;
 
I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

In the New Testament Church, we who are born again are given the Holy Spirit of God to lead us and guide us in all things.
 
John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, Whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
 
John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

The Holy Spirit in us brings to our mind those things which are the will of God in the issues of this life and we do those things and speak those things given us by HIS Spirit.
 
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.When we follow what the Spirit of God brings to our mind, doing that, saying that, there is no condemnation to us.
 
Galatians 5:16  This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
 
For example:
 
Our flesh wants to hate.  But the Spirit reminds us to love.  
 
Therefore we chose to "love" rather than to tell that person off.  
 
We turn to God continually when we are offended, asking God not to let us say that which we want to say.  We bridle our tongue by choosing to do what the Spirit of God shows us to do.  We choose to walk in the Spirit.
 
James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

Prophesy given to Ezekiel: God will cleanse HIS people

After I was born again and changed by God, I no longer wanted to be around the people I had once been around.  Now I wanted to be with the church people.
 
I no longer worshiped the idols I had previously worshiped:  fame, ambitions, and such.  I just wanted to know things of God.  So I read the Bible and went to church and put myself with church people.
 
God put HIS heart inside me.  I wanted to know God's thinking concerning matters at hand.  I wanted to do those things HE said to do.
 
God gave me a new heart, HIS own heart.  I was very different from that person I had been previously.
 
I was now born again by God, a new creature.
 
II Corinthians 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

(You cannot "see" the things of God until you are born again and are given a new heart and a new Spirit.)

Destruction from God sent to the city of Jerusalem

And they went forth, and slew in the city.8  And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.

Ezekiel the prophet of God

Ezekiel 2
 
And HE (God) said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.2 And the spirit entered into me when HE spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard HIM that spake unto me.3 And HE said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against ME: they and their fathers have transgressed against ME, even unto this very day.4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted.  I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.7 And thou shalt speak MY words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
And after you speak, they mock you for they think they know everything, or they try to completely ignore you with silence, or they insult you with their words, or they throw stones at you, and in all ways they show they hate and despise you for the word you carry to them.
 
But you carry that word anyway, though you suffer greatly by their response.  You carry all that word because that is your assignment given by God to you.  You are very careful to let nothing of God's word given to you slip away from the message you deliver to them.  For that is your assignment from God.
 
You deliver that Word as soon as God gives it to you without delay regardless of your own condition.  You rise up from your sick bed, if need be, to deliver that message whether it is day or night, heat or cold.  That message given by God is all that matters to you.

Ezekiel 2
 
8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;10 And HE spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

And you know the horror awaiting them ahead.  But they are foolish, unknowing, so they do nothing to correct their way.
 
Once God gave me a dream:  A stagecoach pulled by 4 wild horses was racing toward a cliff to complete destruction.  A silly, smiling woman with long curls, was looking out the window totally unaware of her impending doom.

This is the work of a prophet of God.
 
Ezekiel 3
 
14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
 
In the book of Ezekiel we will see what happens to him.

Jeremiah the prophet of God

Jeremiah the prophet lived during the time of kings Josiah, Jehoiakim, and Zedekiah ... unto the carrying away of the children of Judah unto captivity in Babylon.
 
Jeremiah 25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
 
Jeremiah saw some very terrible things happen to the nation of Judah.
 
Jeremiah was ordained as a prophet of God and carried warnings to the people of God both before and after the captivity of Judah.

God calls Jeremiah and ordains Jeremiah as a prophet to the children of God.
 
Jeremiah 1
 
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

So often that which is learned at church blocks individuals from receiving the word of God.
 
Traditions of men renders the Word of God void.  And churches often teach "tradition of men".
 
So the prophet of God has to tear down the building they have built in their minds by their traditions before that prophet can build the true house.

Jeremiah 1
 
14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
(God is showing Jeremiah the coming of the king of Babylon and how Judah will be taken into captivity.  This does not apply to today's church.  In 1975, I heard a woman in our prayer group use this scripture as if Russia would attack USA.  But this scripture does not pertain to today's church.  Some Old Testament scripture do apply to today church.)15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.
(See how this word applied to Jerusalem and Judah at the specific time Jeremiah received this word from God and Jeremiah had to warn the people then, at that time, of the destruction that was coming upon them which was caused by their own disobedience to God.)16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

Churches today often live in disobedience to God as they remove NT scripture and set up doctrines opposite to the doctrine of Christ and thereby allow various sins to take place in their church groups.  Because of this, the wrath of God will come upon the world and the apostate church groups at the end of this world by the appointed great tribulation.
 
It will be similar to that captivity where the people of Judah were taken into Babylon and kept for 70 years.
 
But the difference is this:  When Jesus returns and raises the dead in Christ and the elect of God, the judgment upon the world and the apostate churches will be forever.
 
II Peter 3
 
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
 
So the second coming of Jesus brings the end of this present world.  It is over! 
 
Then comes the judgment seat of Christ:
 
II Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

As we read the books of the Old Testament, we must discern between those scriptures which apply to the people of the Old Testament and scriptures which apply to the NT testament church today.
 
Jeremiah 10
 
2-3  Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  For the customs of the people are vain:
5 ... Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Isaiah the prophet of God: Verses for the church today

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of ME, saith the LORD.
 
Our righteousness is of God when God tells us to do or say something and we do or say that Word which God gave us.
 
Joshua 1:9 Have not I command thee?  (says God)
 
So if it is God showing us then our righteousness if of God when we speak or do what we hear from God.

(visit means: to judge to see if there is a need which you are able to provide to the fatherless and to the widows.)
 
Isaiah 3:10   Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
 
Isaiah 5:16   But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

Isaiah 2:22   Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?
 
To put trust in man is foolish for only God knows future, past and present.  To be in awe of man is foolish for the talent he has, when he has talent, is of God.  Worship God.  Learn to put your trust in God first rather than rushing to man.  If God then tells you to go to a certain human, do so.  But always put first your trust in God by turning to God first in prayer.

The righteous are those who do God's righteousness for then our righteousness is of God.
 
"Did God tell me to do that?  Did God tell me to say that?"
 
When the Holy Spirit brings a word from God to our mind and we yield to the Holy Spirit and speak that Word and do that Word, then our righteousness is of God for it was God who brought to our mind, by HIS Spirit, that which we should say and that which we should do.
 
Our works will be righteous when we do and say what God brought to us by HIS Spirit.

The primary signs of the nearby coming of Jesus will be the signs in the sky and the shaking of the heaven and the earth by God:

Several years ago, a woman in our church group reported the following dream:
 
She said:  My husband and I were going out to buy a new TV.  I was at the car waiting for him for I was ready to go.  All of a sudden, the sky turned completely dark.  It was terrifying!  I started to run back into the house.  But then I knew it would do no good to do that, so I just fell on my knees.
 
When the sun goes dark, the return of Jesus is very nearby.

Joan Boney ... In the mid-1980's, God gave me this dream:  
 
"The earth slipped on it's axis.  The governments of men were meeting with the scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  (Nothing can be done, for the Bible tells us this "shaking of the earth by God" will happen before Jesus returns.)  In this dream, a TV newscaster was trying to give a report to the people but he was so frightened that he just stopped speaking and walked off camera.
 
Isaiah, the prophet of God, reported the following:

Every sin a man doeth is without the body, but he who commits fornication sinneth against his own body, says Paul

By the above scripture, we see that each time a person has sexual intercourse, that person is made into "one flesh" by God, even if they are not married to each other.
 
At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh.
 
Sexual sins are sins unlike other sins.

And Paul tells us fornicators will not inherit the kingdom of God.
 
Galatians 5

For both Old and New Testament prophets, Ezekiel 3 outlines the duties and responsibilities God gives to those called by God to be prophets.
 
 * Prophets must eat that which God gives to them:

1 Moreover HE (God) said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.2 So I opened my mouth, and HE caused me to eat that roll.3 And HE said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto ME: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.10 Moreover HE said unto me, Son of man, all MY words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Prophets serve God and yield to God.  When a prophet hears a word from God he learns to yield to God and speak that word.  Even when that prophet feels they will reject that word, he is disciplined by God to speak that word that he believes to be from God.

* If a prophet fails to speak, their blood will be on his hands:
 
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at MY mouth, and give them warning from ME.18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 16
 
1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Prophets are sent by God to cause the church to know the abominations that the church itself is committing in the eyes of God.
 
9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.12  And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
 
17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
 
22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
 
They do not remember what God has done for them.
 
28 Therefore I delivered thee to them that hate thee.
 
(The churches do many sins in the sight of God and their things they make into religious idols cause their downfall at the end.)
 
32  But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.
They pollute scripture and change doctrines of Christ into other lovers.
