Responsibility of a prophet ... Ezekiel 3
Saturday Jan 22, 2022
Saturday Jan 22, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
There are many examples of prophets in the Old Testament.
Also in the New Testament Bible we read examples of prophets in the NT church.
Acts 11:27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
💥💥💥
Ministries Jesus gave to the church after the crucifixion and resurrection:
Ephesians 4
8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
11 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
💥💥💥
For both Old and New Testament prophets, Ezekiel 3 outlines the duties and responsibilities God gives to those called by God to be prophets.
* Prophets must eat that which God gives to them:
Ezekiel 3
1 Moreover HE (God) said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.2 So I opened my mouth, and HE caused me to eat that roll.3 And HE said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
💥💥💥
* Prophets are sent to the church, not to the world:
4 And HE (God) said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel (the church), and speak with MY words unto them.5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto ME: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.8 Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.10 Moreover HE said unto me, Son of man, all MY words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.11 And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
Prophets serve God and yield to God. When a prophet hears a word from God he learns to yield to God and speak that word. Even when that prophet feels they will reject that word, he is disciplined by God to speak that word that he believes to be from God.
💥💥💥
* If a prophet fails to speak, their blood will be on his hands:
17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at MY mouth, and give them warning from ME.18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ezekiel 16
1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Prophets are sent by God to cause the church to know the abominations that the church itself is committing in the eyes of God.
9 Then washed I thee with water; yea, I throughly washed away thy blood from thee, and I anointed thee with oil.10 I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers' skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.11 I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.12 And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.
13 Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment was of fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.14 And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it was perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.15 But thou didst trust in thine own beauty, and playedst the harlot because of thy renown, and pouredst out thy fornications on every one that passed by; his it was.
17 Thou hast also taken thy fair jewels of my gold and of my silver, which I had given thee, and madest to thyself images of men, and didst commit whoredom with them,
22 And in all thine abominations and thy whoredoms thou hast not remembered the days of thy youth, when thou wast naked and bare, and wast polluted in thy blood.
They do not remember what God has done for them.
28 Therefore I delivered thee to them that hate thee.
(The churches do many sins in the sight of God and their things they make into religious idols cause their downfall at the end.)
32 But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!33 They give gifts to all whores: but thou givest thy gifts to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom.
They pollute scripture and change doctrines of Christ into other lovers.

The place where God set HIS name
Friday Jan 21, 2022
Friday Jan 21, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
The place in the days before Jesus where God chose to set HIS name was the city of Jerusalem. In those days, by the law of Moses, animal sacrifices were offered to God for the sins and trespasses of the nations of Judah and Israel, the divided kingdom.
After the crucifixion and resurrection, our sins were paid for by the blood of Jesus and we, who were chosen by God walked in HIS Word, and God set HIS name on each person chosen by God for salvation.
I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
I Corinthians 6:11 ... ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Acts 13:48 ... and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Bought with a price
I Corinthians 6
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

A message preparing the church for the second coming of Jesus
Thursday Jan 20, 2022
Thursday Jan 20, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
When Jesus comes, HE will gather the dead in Christ and the elect of God.
I Thessalonians 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Jesus will raise from off the earth those who are the faithful church and are still living.
Matthew 24:29-31 Jesus says:
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Jesus will take the resurrected church to live in the new heaven and new earth created for them by God.
Revelations 21 (the apostle John says)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
💥💥💥
Jesus will also destroy the apostate churches and the apostate ministers who have not wholly followed the teaching given in the New Testament Bible.
What Paul said will be fulfilled when Jesus returns.
II Thessalonians 2
(KJV)
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(In 1982, God said to me: "The falling away are not people leaving the churches. The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures.)4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(NASB)
3 No one is to deceive you in any way! For it (the return of Jesus) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
The upholding of the scriptures restrained antichrist and kept antichrist out of the church groups but when the churches removed portions of the scriptures and set up other doctrines which are opposite to the doctrines of Christ in the New Testament Bible, antichrist moved into the church groups.
(NASB)
6 And you know what restrains him (antichrist) now, so that he will be revealed in his time.
(Jesus, The Word, The Scriptures, restrains antichrist from the church. When the church group "falls away" from scripture antichrist moves into the church group.)
The apostate churches and their ministers will be destroyed by Jesus at HIS coming:
(KJV)
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
(They don't love all of the New Testament scriptures.)11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
💥💥💥
When Jesus returns, HE will raise the dead in Christ and Jesus will gather HIS elect to HIMSELF.
And Jesus will destroy the apostate churches who have changed HIS Word or have eliminated HIS Word from their church groups.

God sends HIS prophets to HIS people to try to turn them from evil

Ephesians 4
8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE (Jesus) ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.11-12 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

God uses prophets to deliver HIS messages to HIS people: Old and New Testaments
(Prophets are sent to the church, not to the world.)
Ezekiel 3
4 And HE said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with MY words unto them.5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. (Prophets must speak all the words they hear from God.)

New Testament Bible: Prophets
Acts 11:27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
Luke 3 (John the Baptist)
7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him,
O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Isaiah 1
1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against ME.3 The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, MY people doth not consider.4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts MY soul hateth: they are a trouble unto ME; I am weary to bear them.15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before MINE eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.

The message of a prophet: Jesus
Matthew 23 (Jesus says)
13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
💥💥💥
I am convinced there are many prophets in the various church groups today. They are often quiet, meek individuals who see things a little differently than the rest of the church people. God often gives them the spiritual gift, "word of knowledge", and all of a sudden they "know" while the preachers and congregations are caught up in some fleshly emotion. Once in a while they speak. And the congregation is shocked when they fail to go along with some church project. And often they warn individuals in the congregation and warn their ministers.
This podcast has examples of the work of prophets in today's church groups.

The 70-year captivity of Judah in Babylon
Tuesday Jan 18, 2022
Tuesday Jan 18, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Through HIS prophets, God had told the children of Judah that the time would come when HE, God, would turn them into captivity and put them away from HIM so that HE would not have to see Judah anymore because of all the sins they had done against HIM.
2 Chronicles 36
15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by HIS messengers (the prophets,) rising up betimes, and sending; because HE had compassion on HIS people, and on HIS dwelling place:
16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised HIS words, and misused HIS prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against HIS people, till there was no remedy.17 Therefore HE (God) brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: HE gave them all into his hand.
This would be a 70-year captivity.
💥💥💥
At the end of this present world, churches fall away from the scriptures bringing about the apostasy in the churches and with the coming of Jesus the apostate churches will be destroyed because they "fell away" from the scriptures for the New Testament Church as written in the New Testament Bible.
Like it was in the days of the Old Testament, Judah, the people of God, were doing evil, and God sent warnings to these evil doers, by HIS prophets, but they would not heed those warnings.
Today God sends HIS servants, the prophets, to warn the pastors and congregations, but they, too will not heed the warnings given by God's prophets.
So destruction will come upon these apostate churches at the second coming of Jesus.
II Thessalonians 2
Because they fell away from scriptures of the New Testament Bible and spoke other doctrines which pleased men and would not repent and would not return to the doctrines of Christ as shown in the Bible, Jesus will destroy them at HIS coming.
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
(In 1982, I was reading the above scripture and God said to me: "The falling away are not individuals leaving the church but are the churches leaving the scriptures.")
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Today's churches:
* Those who believe the scriptures and follow the scriptures will be saved with the coming of Jesus and will be taken to the "new Jerusalem" created by God for them. (Revelation 21)
* Those who cast aside scriptures today in the apostate churches and set up other doctrines, will be destroyed when Jesus comes. (2 Thessalonians 2:8-12)

The 70-year captivity of the nation of Judah when they were carried away to Babylon:
II Kings 24
1 In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years: then he turned and rebelled against him.2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of Ammon, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which HE spake by HIS servants the prophets.3 Surely at the commandment of the LORD came this upon Judah, to remove them out of HIS sight, for the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did;4 And also for the innocent blood that he shed: for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; which the LORD would not pardon.
God removed Judah "out of HIS sight" where HE would no longer have to see their sins!

We who belong to God are continually talking with God, communing with God through our thoughts and prayers.
They make a pretense of prayer to appear religious to those other persons at the Christmas dinner, and such.

2 Kings 24
8 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. And his mother's name was Nehushta, the daughter of Elnathan of Jerusalem.9 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father had done.10 At that time the servants of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against Jerusalem, and the city was besieged.11 And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came against the city, and his servants did besiege it.12 And Jehoiachin the king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he, and his mother, and his servants, and his princes, and his officers: and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.13 And he carried out thence all the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king's house, and cut in pieces all the vessels of gold which Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the LORD, as the LORD had said.14 And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.15 And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king's mother, and the king's wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.16 And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.17 And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his father's brother king in his stead, and changed his name to Zedekiah.18 Zedekiah was twenty and one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.19 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.20 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, until HE had cast them out from HIS presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.

Terrible fate for Zedekiah:
II Kings 25
1 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his (Zedekiah's) reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it; and they built forts against it round about.2 And the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah. (2 year seige)3 And on the ninth day of the fourth month the famine prevailed in the city, and there was no bread for the people of the land.4 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain.5 And the army of the Chaldees pursued after the king, and overtook him in the plains of Jericho: and all his army were scattered from him.6 So they took the king, and brought him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah; and they gave judgment upon him.7 And they slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, and put out the eyes of Zedekiah, and bound him with fetters of brass, and carried him to Babylon.

I Kings 25
8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem:9 And he burnt the house of the LORD, and the king's house, and all the houses of Jerusalem, and every great man's house burnt he with fire.10 And all the army of the Chaldees, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down the walls of Jerusalem round about.
So the house Solomon built to the Lord is burned ... and the gold and silver vessels are carried away to Babylon and put into the houses of the gods of Babylon or used by the king and his men.
It would have been a terrible thing to see this.

At the end of this world, Jesus warns HIS disciples that all these things they can see with their natural eye will be destroyed.
Matthew 24
1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and HIS disciples came to HIM for to shew HIM the buildings of the temple.2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
II Peter 3
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

The Babylon captivity was ordained by God to last 70 years and at the end of the 70 years Jerusalem would be rebuilt.
The end of this present world will be forever for this current heaven and earth will be burned with fire by God at the end of this world and will pass away forever.
The elect of God, chosen by God, will be taken to the new heaven and new earth which is created by God for them.
Matthew 24 (Jesus says)
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned thirty and one years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jedidah, the daughter of Adaiah of Boscath.2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in all the way of David his father, and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left.3 And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, that the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,4 Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:5 And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work which is in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,6 Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.7 Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.8 And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.9 And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.10 And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.11 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes.12 And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king's, saying,13 Go ye, enquire of the LORD for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.14 So Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam, and Achbor, and Shaphan, and Asahiah, went unto Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvah, the son of Harhas, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college;) and they communed with her.15 And she said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Tell the man that sent you to me,16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:17 Because they have forsaken ME, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke ME to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore MY wrath shall be kindled against this place, and shall not be quenched.18 But to the king of Judah which sent you to enquire of the LORD, thus shall ye say to him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, As touching the words which thou hast heard;19 Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the LORD, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before ME; I also have heard thee, saith the LORD.20 Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place.
And they brought the king word again.
(After the life of Josiah, God will put HIS children into captivity for 70 years in Babylon because of all the sins of Judah in worshipping false gods.)

II Kings 23
1 And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.2 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.3 And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep HIS commandments and HIS testimonies and HIS statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.4 And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.6 And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.7 And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
(sodomites: homosexuals)
25 And like unto him (king Josiah) was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.26 Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the fierceness of HIS great wrath, wherewith HIS anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked HIM withal.27 And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of MY sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.

In 1982, God said to me: "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."
After that God showed me 5 big-name TV preachers and sins being committed by them and I carried message of God to them and there was no repentance.
For the next 30 years, in trying to find a church to attend, I heard many perversions and even deliberate lies come forth from pastors who changed the doctrines of Jesus which are written in the Holy Bible. I went to each of these pastors but there was no repentance.
I was deeply grieved because they would not repent.
In approximately 2015, God showed me the reason they would not repent.
Today I no longer grieve over them because God showed me all these evils were fulfilled because of that which the apostle Paul said would happen in the churches of the end times according to his word in 2 Thessalonians 2.

Manasseh (2 Kings 21 & 2 Chronicles 33)
Sunday Jan 16, 2022
Sunday Jan 16, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Hezekiah was a great king over Judah and cleansed the house of the Lord and established priests and sought God in times of trouble.
His son, Manasseh removed the good things of Hezekiah and put false gods into the House of God.
II Chronicles 33
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:2 But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.4 Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke HIM to anger.7 And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.9 So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.10 And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to HIS people: but they would not hearken.
💥💥💥
II Kings 21
10 And the LORD spake by HIS servants the prophets, saying,
11 Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.13 And I will stretch over Jerusalem the line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a man wipeth a dish, wiping it, and turning it upside down.14 And I will forsake the remnant of MINE inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;15 Because they have done that which was evil in MY sight, and have provoked ME to anger, since the day their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even unto this day.16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.
II Chronicles 33
11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,13 And prayed unto HIM: and HE was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom.
Then Manasseh knew that the LORD HE was God.
💥💥💥
15 And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.16 And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
💥💥💥
So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
II Kings 21
Amon was twenty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.20 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh did.21 And he walked in all the way that his father walked in, and served the idols that his father served, and worshipped them:22 And he forsook the LORD God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the LORD.23 And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and slew the king in his own house.24 And the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.

Hezekiah threatened by an enemy of God and he turns to God and seeks the help of God

Hezekiah was a king of Judah who did right in the sight of God.
In the following example, we see an enemy of God come against Hezekiah and we see how God helped Hezekiah in dealing with the problem.
💥💥💥
II Chronicles 32:1 After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.
💥💥💥
Hezekiah spoke to encourage Judah.
II Chronicles 32
7 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles.
And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
The king of Assyria tried to intimidate Hezekiah and all of Judah by words.
II Chronicles 32
10 Thus saith Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do ye trust, that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?11 Doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?12 Hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?13 Know ye not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?15 Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?16 And his (the king of Assyria) servants spake yet more against the LORD God, and against HIS servant Hezekiah.
17 He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against HIM, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.18 Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.19 And they spake against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.
💥💥💥
20 And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land.
And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.22 Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.
As long as we seek the Lord in the problem, we prosper.
💥💥💥
24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD: and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign.25 But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.27And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour:
💥💥💥
32 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchres of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.

Hezekiah was a king of Judah, doing that which was right in the sight of God.
Several chapters in the Bible are devoted to telling us of Hezekiah.
II Chronicles 29:1-4
1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.
3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites (ministers appointed by God), and gathered them together into the east street,
(The priest and Levites were appointed by God for the work of God to receive the offerings of the people for sins and trespasses according to the Law of Moses. But evil kings of Israel had driven these out and appointed men of their own choosing to be ministers. Hezekiah placed the men chosen by God back into their rightful ministry.)
5 And (Hezekiah) said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken HIM, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.
(In the Old Testament, God set up animal sacrifices for the sins of the people. In the New Testament Jesus is the sacrifice for our sins.)8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and HE hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.
💥💥💥
Hezekiah says to the Levites:
10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that HIS fierce wrath may turn away from us.
15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.
Many "unclean" things had been brought into the house of the Lord. They had to cleanse that house removing the unclean.
(Today we cleanse our own house, ourselves, by removing the false doctrines and setting up in our heart the doctrines of the New Testament by the Holy Scriptures given to us by inspiration of God.)
18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.
20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.
💥💥💥
25 And he (king Hezekiah) set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by HIS prophets.
26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.
(Burnt offerings and incense were Old Testament commandments but we are not told to use these in the New Testament for we worship in "spirit" in New Testament.)
28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
💥💥💥
31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.
💥💥💥
II Chronicles 30
1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
(Passover was Old Testament commandment. No longer valid for New Testament for Christ is our passover in NT church.)
8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into HIS sanctuary, which HE hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of HIS wrath may turn away from you.
9 For if ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away HIS face from you, if ye return unto HIM.
12 Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
💥💥💥
14 And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
(Unclean altars were removed for in past they had worshipped other gods on these altars.)
💥💥💥
26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.
II Chronicles 31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.
4-5 Moreover he (Hezekiah) commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

Jotham
II Chronicles 27
1 Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.
6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.
💥💥💥
Ahaz
II Chronicles 28
Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:2 For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.4 He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they smote him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus.
And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who smote him with a great slaughter.
6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.7 And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.

New Testament Church:
Today, when we walk in the ways of God by the Holy Spirit of God and the Holy Bible, we are greatly blessed by God.
If we walk in the ways of this world and follow other gods (making money, and physical pleasures, and religious gods not specified in the NT Bible gods) we curse ourselves and bring the wrath of God upon us.
We have many examples of both blessings and curses as we read of the actions done by these kings of Judah and Israel.
In the Old Testament the eventual penalty for the evil doing was the Jews were carried away captive into Babylon where they were servants for 70 years in the captivity.
In the New Testament, the apostasy in the churches comes toward the end before the coming of Jesus and the eventual penalty upon the apostate churches, ministers and congregations, will be destruction at the coming of Jesus.
II Thessalonians 2
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God divided the kingdom into two parts: Judah & Israel.
The kingdom remained divided and they fought against one another.
One king died and another replaced him and most often those kings did evil as described in the following:
I Kings 14
22 And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked HIM to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.23 For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.24 And there were also sodomites (homosexuals) in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
💥💥💥
The divided kingdom of Judah and Israel continued for many generations.
After the crucifixion of Jesus, and before Jesus was ascended into heaven, the disciples asked Jesus:
Acts 1
6 ... Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?7 And HE said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in HIS own power.8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.9 And when HE had spoken these things, while they beheld, HE was taken up; and a cloud received HIM out of their sight.
💥💥💥
From heaven, Jesus established the New Testament church and gave HIS ministers to the church.
Ephesians 4
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; (5 ministry offices)12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into HIM in all things, which is the head, even Christ:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
💥💥💥
Paul is an example of one of these New Testament apostles/teachers which was called by Jesus after Jesus was taken into heaven.
Acts 26 (Paul tells king Agrippa his story)
9 I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice against them.11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.12 Whereupon as I went to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests,13 At midday, O king, I saw in the way a light from heaven, above the brightness of the sun, shining round about me and them which journeyed with me.14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
(Notice Jesus called Saul by name. There were others traveling with Saul and while they heard a voice and saw a bright light, they were not called nor put into the ministry by Jesus. It was the call of Jesus on Paul's life. Paul was put into the ministry by the will of God working in the offices of apostle and teacher. 2 Timothy 1:11)15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord?
And HE said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in ME.19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

II Chronicles 26
1 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.2 He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.3 Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.4 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.
And so it is with all who belong to God. As long as we seek the Lord, God causes us to prosper.

The downfall of Uzziah:
II Chronicles 26
15 And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.16 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.
17 And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men:18 And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God.
Only those persons who are assigned by God and called by Jesus can do the things of the ministry.
19 Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.20 And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.
21 And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.22 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.23 So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

After the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, from heaven Jesus established the New Testament church:
Ministers are called by Jesus today and set into the ministries to which they are assigned by Jesus from heaven and they are taught by Jesus from heaven by HIS Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 4
8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
11-12 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
From heaven, Jesus gives to the NT church, the following ministry offices: apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher
Jesus calls these NT ministers from heaven and Jesus teaches HIS ministers by HIS Holy Spirit.
Paul is an example of a NT minister called by Jesus and taught by Jesus.
Acts 26
(Notice that Jesus called Saul by name. Later he was called Paul.)15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord?
Jesus then taught Paul from heaven.
Galatians 1 (Paul says:)
11-12 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
16-19 To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood: Neither went I up to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me; but I went into Arabia, and returned again unto Damascus. Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and abode with him fifteen days. But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother.

On August 5, 1975, God said to me: "Joan ... you know these mistakes you've been making all these years? Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins."
A few nights later, I was asleep in the night when I was transported into heaven. I was with God and Christ and the Holy Spirit. (no physical images it was a spiritual experience) At that time I was merged into the body of Jesus, made one with the Word of God, God and the Holy Spirit witnessing.
A few nights later the exact same thing happened again.
Two ordinations by God and Jesus for the two ministries of apostle and prophet to which I was called.
From 1975 to 1980, I stayed home at my apartment and read the Bible, God through the Holy Spirit teaching me scriptures. (I attended 3 churches during this time but my teaching of the scriptures was coming through Holy Spirit as I read the Bible during these years.)

THY word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105)

If you have a problem and don't know what to do, ask God. His answer might surprise you!
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
I know there are many times God just puts something into my heart and leads me.
Psalm 37:4-5 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.
I've always thought this means God will put HIS desires into our hearts to lead us. We think it is our desire but really it is HIS desire for us, when we are praying, asking HIM what we should do.

When I realize I have heard a word from God, I know what to do in the situation.
* A few days ago, I felt TV news was causing some bad fruits to come forth in me. I began praying about this. And I heard, "If your right hand offends thee, cut if off." I stopped watching these programs. Immediately I found I was at more peace. I don't like seeing things people of this world are doing and I don't like hearing their "wisdom".
Somehow the TV evening news was causing me to react, but I find I can look at the headlines that are written of the day's world news on Internet and rarely react. (I don't often pull up the details of the story.) So if I want to check events, I am now reading the headlines on Internet. Sometimes they trouble me and I have to pray to be free from the concern, but mostly they do not trouble me like the TV news with all the pictures trouble me.
If something troubles us we need to deal with it through asking God for HIS help to know what is best for us to do.

* One day, I was bombarded with thoughts: "What if this happens to you? What if that happens. What will happen to you if you get to where you can't walk? What will you do?"
I cried out to God, "Help me!"
Immediately the Holy Spirit reminded me of this scripture: "God will supply all your need." Philippians 4:19
"That's right", I responded. And all the weight of the destructive thoughts lifted from off my shoulders. I was at peace and had joy again!

John 14:26 Jesus said: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The Holy Spirit says: God will supply all my need when there is a need! Philippians 4:19
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth in all things and is also The Comforter to us.

The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
It is so good to remember those things God has done. Remember what God did for HIS people in Egypt and in the wilderness when God led them out from their enemies.
But it is equally important for each of us to remember what God has done in our own lives and to share that with others also.
Psalm 126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.
Think on the things God has done for you!
Share these things with others when the Holy Spirit brings them to your mind!

God had set up HIS judges to rule over HIS people, but the time came when the people demanded that they have a king to rule. God gave them kings but HE had the prophet Samuel protest. Still they wanted a king.
God first gave them Saul to reign. But Saul would not fully obey God so the kingdom was removed from Saul and given to David who was a man after God's own heart.
David died and God gave them Solomon, David's son. When Solomon asked God to give him wisdom to know how to reign, God gave Solomon wisdom. But Solomon sinned against God by setting up places where his strange wives could worship their Gods and when Solomon grew old, his "strange wives" (wives who were not of the nation of Israel but of other nations) turned Solomon's heart away from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Because of this disobedience, God pronounced a judgment upon Solomon and the children of Israel: There would be a divided Kingdom: Judah and Israel
This meant there would be a king over Judah and another king over Israel.
Most of the kings were evil, setting up idols for the people to worship. And God would tolerate this for a season and warn them by HIS prophets, and then God would bring an adversary against them and their enemies would reign over the Nations of Judah and Israel for an appointed number of years and they would go into bondage.
This is described for us in Psalm 107,
4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE delivered them out of their distresses.7 And HE led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for HIS goodness, and for HIS wonderful works to the children of men!9 For HE satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
(But they went in the right way for a season and then they began again to worship the idols of the people of other nations. This brought a penalty from God.)11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:12 Therefore HE brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and HE saved them out of their distresses.14 HE brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
(And the pattern repeats itself: They returned to the evil way and God would raise up an adversary against them and they would go back into the bondage of the nations of men.)
The apostle Paul says:
I Corinthians 10
6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.7 Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.8 Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.9 Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.10 Neither murmur (complain) ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.14 Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
The people of this present world delight in worshipping other humans and they set these humans up as idols: sports figures, rich men, men who achieve greatness one way or another.
But we who are of God should not join this world in worshipping man and in exalting other men.
At all times we worship and exalt God, praising Him who created heaven and earth and man.
Romans 1
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, WHO is blessed for ever. Amen.
They see a mountain and worship the mountain.
We see a mountain and worship God WHO created that mountain.
We who belong to God must worship God the Creator rather than worshipping man and things who were created by God.
Hebrews 11
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing HIM who is invisible.
We must continually see "HIM" who is invisible!
We worship the Creator rather than the created.

Jehu sacrifices to Baal the servants of Baal
Friday Jan 07, 2022
Friday Jan 07, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Jehu was anointed by God as a servant of God to bring about the destruction of Ahab's house and Jehu also destroyed the followers of the false god Baal.
II Kings 10
17 And when he (Jehu) came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria, till he had destroyed him, according to the saying of the LORD, which he spake to Elijah.18 And Jehu gathered all the people together, and said unto them, Ahab served Baal a little; but Jehu shall serve him much.19 Now therefore call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants, and all his priests; let none be wanting: for I have a great sacrifice to do to Baal; whosoever shall be wanting, he shall not live.
But Jehu did it in subtilty, to the intent that he might destroy the worshippers of Baal.20 And Jehu said, Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal. And they proclaimed it.21 And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.22 And he said unto him that was over the vestry, Bring forth vestments for all the worshippers of Baal. And he brought them forth vestments.23 And Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal, and said unto the worshippers of Baal, Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the LORD, but the worshippers of Baal only.24 And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.25 And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, Go in, and slay them; let none come forth. And they smote them with the edge of the sword; and the guard and the captains cast them out, and went to the city of the house of Baal.26 And they brought forth the images out of the house of Baal, and burned them.27 And they brake down the image of Baal, and brake down the house of Baal, and made it a draught house unto this day.28 Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel.

II Kings 10
29 Howbeit from the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, Jehu departed not from after them, to wit, the golden calves that were in Bethel, and that were in Dan.
(Jeroboam set up 2 golden calves for the people of Israel to worship at the cities of Bethel and Dan. By this he kept the people from going to Jerusalem to worship. Also Jeroboam removed the Levites who were appointed as ministers by God and Jeroboam set up his own vile men as ministers of God.)30 And the LORD said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in MINE eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in MINE heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel.31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the LORD God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.32 In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short: and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;33 From Jordan eastward, all the land of Gilead, the Gadites, and the Reubenites, and the Manassites, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, even Gilead and Bashan.34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehu, and all that he did, and all his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?35 And Jehu slept with his fathers: and they buried him in Samaria. And Jehoahaz his son reigned in his stead.36 And the time that Jehu reigned over Israel in Samaria was twenty and eight years.
To receive a full reward we must follow God wholly.
2 Corinthians 5
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM.10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
Titus 3
9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Jehu kills all of Ahab’s sons and also kills evil Jezebel, as God commanded Jehu
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Thursday Jan 06, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
When God anointed Jehu king of Israel, God also put the following commandment over Jehu.
II Kings 9 (God says to Jehu)
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of MY servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.

II Kings 10
1 And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children,
6 Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time.
Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
8 And there came a messenger, and told him, saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
The people entering the city would see them.
And Jehu said to the people:
10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the LORD, which the LORD spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the LORD hath done that which HE spake by HIS servant Elijah.11 So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.
(Previous prophesy)
I Kings 21
God said to Elijah the prophet:
18 Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.
(Jezebel had Naboth killed so Ahab could get possession of Naboth's vineyard.)19 And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.20 And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy?
And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.21 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,22 And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked ME to anger, and made Israel to sin.23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.24 Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

God delivers HIS children and destroys enemies of God
Wednesday Jan 05, 2022
Wednesday Jan 05, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
God has HIS instruments of destruction whereby HE eliminates HIS enemies according to HIS will.
The Bible shows us examples of such:
* God puts a lying spirit in the mouth of all the prophets of evil king Ahab to lead Ahab to destruction:
I Kings 22
And he (the prophet Micaiah) said, Hear thou therefore the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.22 And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith?
And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.
And HE (God) said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.23 Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil concerning thee.
Ahab's false prophets told Ahab to go to battle so Ahab went and was killed in the battle.

* God causes enemy army to hear sounds of chariots and they flee in fear:
II Kings 7
6 For the Lord had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to another, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us.7 Wherefore they arose and fled in the twilight, and left their tents, and their horses, and their asses, even the camp as it was, and fled for their life.

God raises up Jehu to kill the descendants of evil king Ahab and to kill Jezebel as prophesied by Elijah.
II Kings 9
1 And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead:2 And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber;3 Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the LORD, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not.4 So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead.5 And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain.6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.
And he (the prophet) opened the door, and fled.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus, THE PROPHET

Jesus said:
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear (from God), I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
💥💥💥
A man can no nothing except that which he hears from God.
As servants appointed by Jesus for the New Testament church, we simply hear from God and speak that which God gives us and do that which God shows us to do.
Our pattern is that which Jesus said of HIMSELF in the above scripture.
God trained me to do the work of a prophet by taking me to each scripture concerning prophets in both the Old Testament and New Testament, showing me these examples of prophets, starting with John 5:30 and what Jesus said of HIMSELF.

We do not try to see. We read the Bible and God teaches us, opening our eyes by HIS will. From time to time, God gives us a word and by that word we act by faith in the place God has put us.
My first experience with this came when I was a new Christian and was attending a prayer group in my neighborhood at the house of one of my neighbors. There were about 10 women in the group.
One day, as the women were praying, I heard: "Look up."
I opened my eyes and looked up and I saw an outline on the wall. It was a stomach.
When the women quit praying, I asked? "Does someone have a stomach problem?"
One woman excitedly said: "I do! I do!"
After that, God would often give me "a word of knowledge" when I attended the Sunday school class at the church I was attending at that time. Our teacher always asked, "Does anyone have a word from the Lord?" And we were free to share at that time if God had shown us something.

Spiritual gifts:
I Corinthians 12
4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE (God) will.
💥💥💥
God taught me about the Holy Spirit and the work done by the Holy Spirit through us.
John 14:26 Jesus said: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.14 HE shall glorify ME (says Jesus): for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.
💥💥💥
Ways the Holy Spirit speaks to us:
* HE reminds us of a scripture or brings us a word from God and we learn to yield to the Holy Spirit, sharing by faith that which we have heard from the Holy Spirit:
Examples:
* Holy Spirit said to me as I was visiting with my aunt: "Tell her about being taken into heaven." So I yielded to that which the Holy Spirit said and shared this with my aunt.
* On golf course, a Methodist woman began to complain about people who judge other people and Holy Spirit gave me the following word which I spoke: "If you judge someone is judging, aren't you judging?"
* As I am considering putting new upholstery on my 25-year-old car, Holy Spirit brought this option to my mind: "Or you could just buy a new car."
* A man went into his back yard and saw all the stuff in his storage building and began to consider putting up a second storage building and Holy Spirit said to him: "Or you could just get rid of the stuff."
The Holy Spirit does not make us do anything. He does not make us speak anything. He shows us the will of God in the matter at hand. We learn to yield to Holy Spirit speaking that which we believe God wants spoken and choosing to do that which God shows us in the situation.
💥💥💥
* The Holy Spirit searches the heart of God to show us the will of God:
I Corinthians 2
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
💥💥💥
In the New Testament Church, the Holy Spirit lives in each child of God to teach him and guide him on this present earth.
I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
💥💥💥
Each person who is born again by God has the Holy Spirit in him but some are called by God and set into the church to care for the church as ministers of God.
I Corinthians 12
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
💥💥💥
After Jesus was crucified and taken into heaven, HE establishes the NT church from heaven, calling some to be HIS ministers to work in the church.
Ephesians 4
11 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
💥💥💥
John 15:16 Jesus says: Ye have not chosen ME, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:
Jesus calls us to the ministry and ordains us, teaching us also as HE wills for the work to which we are called.
We do not put ourselves into the ministry by our own desire. We must be called by Jesus for the work of the ministry.
But the apostle Peter warns us that there are false prophets and false teachers who are not called by God but put themselves into the ministry.
II Peter 2
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
They say "Jesus is Lord", but they do not follow the Spirit of God for they do not have the Spirit of God. They put themselves into the ministries by their own will and they execute the work by their own way of thinking.
Jesus warns:
Matthew 24
4 Take heed that no man deceive you.5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Works of Elisha prophet of God and New Testament Church prophets today

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Elisha asked for a double portion of the spirit of Elijah. And this Elisha received from God. Elisha did many works of God while he was on this earth.
Elisha picks up the mantle of Elijah and puts it on himself and begins the ministry given to him by God.
II Kings 2
9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;
Works of Elisha the prophet of God:
* Parting of the waters (II Kings 2:14)
* Healing the waters (II Kings 2:19-22)
* Children who mocked Elisha (II Kings 2:23-24)
* Creation of waters for the armies of Israel who go to battle against Moab (II Kings 3:6-20)
* Saving the wife and 2 sons from bondage due to debt (II Kings 4:1-7)
* Shunammite woman given a son (II Kings 4:8-17)
* Raising from dead the son of Shunammite woman (II Kings 4:18-36)
* Poison in the cooking pot. Healing of the food. (II Kings 4:38-41)
* Multiplying of the bread (II Kings 4:42-44)
* Naaman healed from leprosy (II Kings 5:1-27)
* Retrieving the axe head from the waters (II Kings 6:1-7)
* Elisha tells king of Israel plans of warring king of Syria (II Kings 6:8-12)
* Opens the eyes of his servant to see angels & chariots of God (II Kings 6:13-17)
* Smite the enemy with blindness (II Kings 6:18-23)
* Saved from famine (II Kings 6:24 - II Kings 7:20)
* Woman sent from appointed famine (II Kings 8:1-6)
* Benhadad king of Syria falls ill and calls on Elijah (II Kings 8:7-10)
* Hazael to replace Benhadad (II Kings 8:11-15)
* Jehu anointed king of Israel so he can destroy the house of Ahab (II Kings 9)

(The first work done by Elisha.)14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

The young prophets want to go hunt for Elijah. Elisha knows they will not find Elijah for he saw the chariot of God take Elijah off this earth. But the young men continue to insist so Elisha lets them go hunt for Elijah on this earth.
I Kings 2
16 And they said unto him, Behold now, there be with thy servants fifty strong men; let them go, we pray thee, and seek thy master (seek Elijah): lest peradventure the Spirit of the LORD hath taken him up, and cast him upon some mountain, or into some valley.
And he (Elisha) said, Ye shall not send.17 And when they urged him till he was ashamed, he said, Send.
They sent therefore fifty men; and they sought (for Elijah) three days, but found him not.
18 And when they came again to him, (for he tarried at Jericho,) he said unto them, Did I not say unto you, Go not?

New Testament Church: Jesus says to us:
Acts 1
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The Holy Ghost comes upon us many times during our lives to help us in things of God and to help us to know the will of God in the issues pertaining to this life.
The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of Jesus showing us what to do and what to say.
John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.14 He shall glorify ME: for HE shall receive of MINE, and shall shew it unto you.
When HE brings to our mind that which is from Jesus we then have the power of God to witness to the things of God to other people.

Wisdom is from God
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Sunday Jan 02, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are HIS:
II Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.
The fear of the Lord is the understanding that God knows what is best for us so when we read the Word of God or hear a word directly from God we know that is the way to go and to go any other way is to our detriment and destruction. We would be afraid to go any other way after hearing a word from God.
Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Proverbs 12:1 (God says) Counsel is MINE, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
Ephesians 1:8 Wherein HE (God) hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Proverbs 2:7 HE (God) layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: HE is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.
Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of HIS mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

God raises up Jehu to destroy king Ahab and the evil queen Jezebel
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Saturday Jan 01, 2022
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Jehoshaphat did that which was right in the sight of God, but his son, Jehoram did not do that which was right in the sight of God. His wife was the daughter of evil king of Israel, Ahab.
When we see the name "Ahab" associated with someone, we can look for evil. For Ahab and his wife Jezebel excelled in evil works and God had proclaimed that Ahab's descendants would be slain also.
Jehu is chosen by God to kill the descendants of Ahab and also to kill Jezebel.
II Kings 8
25 In the twelfth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel did Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah begin to reign.26 Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel.27 And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab.28 And he went with Joram the son of Ahab to the war against Hazael king of Syria in Ramothgilead; and the Syrians wounded Joram.29 And king Joram went back to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.
Both nations of Judah and Israel often do evil in the sight of God.
God will raise up a destroyer to deal with the house of Ahab and his descendants. That destroyer is Jehu.
II Kings 9 (Prophecy of God over Jehu)
7 And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of MY servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the LORD, at the hand of Jezebel.8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel:9 And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah:
10 And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.
When Jehu is king of Israel, he finds Jezebel and has her killed.
II Kings 9
30 And when Jehu was come to Jezreel, Jezebel heard of it; and she painted her face, and tired her head, and looked out at a window. (upstairs window)31 And as Jehu entered in at the gate, she said, Had Zimri peace, who slew his master? (Jezebel spoke this against Jehu.)32 And he (Jehu) lifted up his face to the window, and said, Who is on my side? who? And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs.33 And he said (concerning Jezebel), Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.34 And when he was come in, he did eat and drink, and said, Go, see now this cursed woman, and bury her: for she is a king's daughter.
(But they found nothing to bury for the dogs ate Jezebel according to the prophecy of God spoken by Elijah the prophet.)35 And they went to bury her: but they found no more of her than the skull, and the feet, and the palms of her hands.
(Prophecy over Jezebel: I Kings 21:23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.)

Earlier God shows Elijah the prophet the following:
I Kings 19
15 And the LORD said unto him, Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.17 And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
God destroys the house of the wicked and God tells HIS prophets of that destruction which is to come to the wicked.

II Corinthians 5
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of HIM.10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

God sent Elijah the prophet to call Elisha to the work of a prophet.
I Kings 19
15 And the LORD said unto him (to Elijah), Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
19 So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.20 And he left the oxen, and ran after Elijah, and said, Let me, I pray thee, kiss my father and my mother, and then I will follow thee. And he said unto him, Go back again: for what have I done to thee?21 And he returned back from him, and took a yoke of oxen, and slew them, and boiled their flesh with the instruments of the oxen, and gave unto the people, and they did eat. Then he (Elisha) arose, and went after Elijah, and ministered unto him.

II Kings 2
1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel.3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho.5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace.6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he (Elisha) said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on.7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two (Elijah & Elisha) stood by Jordan.8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.10 And he (Elijah) said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.12 And Elisha saw it, and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.13 He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan;14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah? and when he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over.
15 And when the sons of the prophets which were to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him.
So Elisha performs even more miracles than Elijah did on this earth.
But all works done are authored by God.

John the Baptist was sent in the spirit of Elijah but John performed no miracles
Thursday Dec 30, 2021
Thursday Dec 30, 2021
Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Malachi 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
Jesus shows this Elijah the prophet was John the Baptist who came as a prophet of God:
John the Baptist came in the spirit of Elijah and prepared the people for the coming of Jesus.
💥💥💥
Matthew 17
10 And HIS (Jesus') disciples asked HIM, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.13 Then the disciples understood that HE spake unto them of John the Baptist.
💥💥💥
John the Baptist didn't look like Elijah for John performed no miracles.
Elijah the prophet performed great miracles:
When Elijah was sent to Zarephath, he pronounced to the widow woman that the barrel of meal and the cruse of oil would not fail during the famine ... and he raised her son from the dead.
I Kings 17 (concerning Elijah)
8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.
Elijah caused the widow's son to be raised from the dead.17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.20 And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son?21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.22 And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.23 And Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the chamber into the house, and delivered him unto his mother: and Elijah said, See, thy son liveth.24 And the woman said to Elijah, Now by this I know that thou art a man of God, and that the word of the LORD in thy mouth is truth.

John the Baptist didn't look like Elijah.
John 10:41 And many resorted unto HIM (to Jesus), and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man (Jesus) were true.
Luke 7 (Jesus speaks of John the Baptist)
24 And when the messengers of John were departed, HE (Jesus) began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?25 But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.26 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send MY messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before THEE.28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

3 And he (John the Baptist) came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;4 As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make HIS paths straight.5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.9 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.10 And the people asked him, saying, What shall we do then?11 He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.12 Then came also publicans to be baptized, and said unto him, Master, what shall we do?13 And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you.14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.15 And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: HE shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:17 Whose fan is in HIS hand, and HE will throughly purge HIS floor, and will gather the wheat into HIS garner; but the chaff HE will burn with fire unquenchable.18 And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.
John preached: Make yourselves ready for the coming of the Lord.
Clean up your lives. Do that which is right in the sight of God concerning the issues of this life.
Romans 12:2 Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jesus Ministries, Joan Boney ...
Prophets of God are always sent to the people of God, not to the world.
God said to Ezekiel:
Ezekiel 3
And HE (God) said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with MY words unto them.5 For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand.

The New Testament church: prophets of God
Ephesians 4 (From heaven, Jesus places prophets in today's church) 8 When HE (Jesus) ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
11-12 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Acts 11:27-29 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch. And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar. Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
I Corinthians 12:28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the NT church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
I Corinthians 14:29 (Concerning the gathering of the NT church, the apostle Paul instructs) Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.
Acts 13:11 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

A primary work of prophets is the delivering of messages from God to the ministers and to the congregation and to individuals in the congregations. Often these concern sins that are being committed. Sometimes the prophet will bring a judgment from God concerning the sin.
John the Baptist carries a message to Herod:
Matthew 14:3-4 For Herod had laid hold on John, and bound him, and put him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife. For John said unto him, It is not lawful for thee to have her. (message concerning adultery)

Elijah sent to king Ahab with judgments from God against both Ahab and Jezebel, Ahab's wife:
I Kings 21:17-19 And the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.
21-23 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee (God says to Ahab), and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked ME to anger, and made Israel to sin.23 And of Jezebel also spake the LORD, saying, The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.

II Kings 1 (God sends Elijah the prophet to deliver a message to king Ahaziah of Israel)
1 Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab.2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.3 But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?4 Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.
And Elijah departed.
17 So he (Ahaziah) died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And Jehoram reigned in his stead in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah; because he had no son.

In 1982, God said to me: "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."
A few days after this, God called my attention to specific sins being committed by several "big time" radio/TV preachers and I had to get messages to them as a prophet of God.
The story of some of these are recorded on this Podcast.
