God sees the heart. God knows exactly what the person is doing. God certainly sees things about the human that we do not see.
Most humans try to look "good" to others. So by their outward appearance and even the things they say in public, they try to present themselves as being "good" people.
God knows what they really are and sometimes God will "turn them over to a reprobate mind to do those things that are not convenient." (Romans 1:28)
God knows that which is really in the heart of the individual and God knows that which the person is doing in private.
Romans 1
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

On October 13, 2021, God brought to my attention the fact that what they were doing was such an offense to God, that HE "gave them up to vile affections". God judged what they were doing.
So if I continue to think well of them, I am saying, "God's judgment against them was questionable for they are really nice persons."
I saw I must not judge them as good when God has judged them as doing evil and turned them over to a reprobate mind to do those things that are not convenient.
I must not set myself against the judgment God has rendered which they by their acts make visible to all.
When I saw this, I repented and turned from that good that I had been thinking about those who have been turned by God into "vile affections" and to accept the fact that God has judged them as doing evil and therefore turned them over to a reprobate mind and to vile affections.
I must accept that God is always right in HIS judgment. God sees all and knows all and knows their private acts and their private thoughts.
I Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
So in the future, I have purposed to recognize, when I see a homosexual or lesbian or a person who has a reprobate mind, to think on this: That individual did something which caused God to turn him over to vile affections or a reprobate mind.
God's judgment is always correct ... so I set myself to agree with God's judgments rather than overturning the judgment of God by my own thinking.

Before the armies of the children of Israel went into Jericho to possess the land given them by God, Joshua gave specific instruction from God as follows:
Joshua 6:18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
40,000 men went to battle at Jericho and God gave them a great victory.
Next they were to take the city of Ai.
Joshua 7
1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel.2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.
(They didn't know that God would not be with them because of the trespass of Achan at Jericho.)4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.6 And Joshua rent his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the eventide, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.7 And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us? would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side Jordan!8 O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
(This is terrible when we fail to overcome.)9 For the Canaanites and all the inhabitants of the land shall hear of it, and shall environ us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what wilt thou do unto THY great name?
It would be a terrible thing to be defeated by the enemies of God.
This would shame God HIMSELF.
Jesus said:
Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.
Paul said:
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through HIM that loved us.
John said:
I John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.
It is unthinkable to be defeated by the unbelievers or by problems that surface in this present life when God is in us!
Paul says:
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
God makes a way for us in that which HE has called us to do on this earth.
I can't picture anything other than victory through God in all things. So we seek God and wait for HIS way and then we go in HIS way in the issues of this life.

God showed Joshua that person who sinned and brought trouble upon Israel and God showed Joshua what to do about the situation and Joshua did what God showed him to do.
Joshua 7
11 Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed MY covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.12 Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.13 Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

Joshua 7 God's judgment:
14 In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the LORD taketh shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man.15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel.

Joshua 7
16 So Joshua rose up early in the morning, and brought Israel by their tribes; and the tribe of Judah was taken:17 And he brought the family of Judah; and he took the family of the Zarhites: and he brought the family of the Zarhites man by man; and Zabdi was taken:18 And he brought his household man by man; and Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, was taken.19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, glory to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto HIM; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me.20 And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:21 When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.22 So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, it was hid in his tent, and the silver under it.23 And they took them out of the midst of the tent, and brought them unto Joshua, and unto all the children of Israel, and laid them out before the LORD.24 And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of HIS anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.
The apostle Peter says:

19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Joshua 6
1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram's horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.6 And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests, and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant, and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD.7 And he said unto the people, Pass on, and compass the city, and let him that is armed pass on before the ark of the LORD.8 And it came to pass, when Joshua had spoken unto the people, that the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams' horns passed on before the LORD, and blew with the trumpets: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them.9 And the armed men went before the priests that blew with the trumpets, and the rereward came after the ark, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.11 So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going about it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp.12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.13 And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams' horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rereward came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on, and blowing with the trumpets.14 And the second day they compassed the city once, and returned into the camp: so they did six days.15And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.17 And the city shall be accursed, even it, and all that are therein, to the LORD: only Rahab the harlot shall live, she and all that are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.18 And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.19 But all the silver, and gold, and vessels of brass and iron, are consecrated unto the LORD: they shall come into the treasury of the LORD.20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.21 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword.22 But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye sware unto her.23 And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel.24 And they burnt the city with fire, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD.25 And Joshua saved Rahab the harlot alive, and her father's household, and all that she had; and she dwelleth in Israel even unto this day; because she hid the messengers, which Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.26 And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the foundation thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it.27 So the LORD was with Joshua; and his fame was noised throughout all the country.

Joshua 2
1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.2 And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.3 And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.4 And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:5 And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.6 But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.7 And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.8 And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;9 And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.10 For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.11 And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, HE is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.
(We see how Rahab confessed God and believed in God.)12 Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:13 And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.15 Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.16 And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.17 And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
(This is like the Passover in Egypt for all who stayed in their houses under the blood which was on the doors were saved from the angel who destroyed the first born of Egypt. But God told them not to go out of their house that night.)20 And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.21 And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
Rehab believe in the God of the children of Israel and she did that Word given to her by which she and her whole household were saved by God as a result.

Joshua 4

After the crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus gave ministers to the New Testament church.
We read about this in Ephesians 4.
7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.8 Wherefore HE saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)11 And HE gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into HIM in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

From heaven Jesus called Paul to put him into the ministry.
Jesus called Paul by name saying, "Saul Saul."
There were other men who saw the great light come down from heaven and they heard a voice from heaven but saw no man, but it was Paul who was called by Jesus to be HIS minister.
Acts 9
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord?
And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?
And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

In Acts 26, the apostle Paul tells this story in greater depth to king Agrippa.

And HE said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in ME.19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:

Jesus set up the New Testament church from heaven after the resurrection.
God made a new covenant whereby HE put in the hearts HIS laws for those who were of HIMSELF.
Hebrews 8 God says:
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put MY laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to ME a people:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know ME, from the least to the greatest.12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.13 In that HE saith, A new covenant, HE hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

I Corinthians 1
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
(After I was born again, my cousin, Church of Christ, listened to me speak and then she said, "Well ... I believe you are a Christian ... I just don't see 'how' you can be.")28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:29 That no flesh should glory in HIS presence.
30 But of HIM (God) are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
31 That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

Joshua 3
5 And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.6 And Joshua spake unto the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant, and pass over before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant, and went before the people.7 And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day will I begin to magnify thee in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee.8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.9 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, Come hither, and hear the words of the LORD your God.
As God spoke to Moses and Moses commanded the people according to the Word Moses heard from God, now Joshua does the same thing. The people hear from God through Joshua.
10 And Joshua said, Hereby ye shall know that the living God is among you, and that HE will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Hivites, and the Perizzites, and the Girgashites, and the Amorites, and the Jebusites.11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth passeth over before you into Jordan.12 Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out of every tribe a man.13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand upon an heap.
15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

Joshua 4
13 About forty thousand prepared for war passed over before the LORD unto battle, to the plains of Jericho.
14 On that day the LORD magnified Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.
When God calls us to do an assignment in the New Testament church, God often gives us spiritual gifts and when we execute those gifts the people see that we are called as ministers of God for the church.
Proverbs 18:6 A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.

Joshua 1

Today in the New Testament church, God gives HIS Holy Spirit to live in each individual who belongs to God. When God reveals HIMSELF to us, choosing us to be HIS own, HE gives us HIS Spirit to lead us and guide us and teach us and even to show us things to come by HIS own will.
I Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:
John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
I Corinthians 2

It is the Spirit of Jesus, The Holy Spirit of God, who lives in us and speaks to us and guides us and teaches us by bringing to our mind those things that are the will of God concerning the issues of this present life so we can know the way of God as we live here and do the will of God on this present earth.

Deuteronomy 32:3-4 Because I will publish the name of the LORD: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.
HE is the Rock, HIS work is perfect: for all HIS ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is HE.

John 15:15 Jesus says: Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of MY Father I have made known unto you.
When God reveals something to us, we also share that Word with the church.
We speak of those things God has shown to us and we share what God has done for us. And those who rejoice in God rejoice in that which we say about God.
I John 4:4-7 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Here is something God did for me to help me recently.
I have a chair in my bedroom which has a built in drinking glass holder that is approximately 5 inches deep. I had a glass that is 6 inches deep which I was trying to use. I prayed asking God to help me to see a way that I could put something in the bottom of that cup holder which would raise the glass and allow me to put a 6 inch tall glass into the holder and still remove the glass comfortably from that holder.
Immediately I noticed my cloth dinner napkin which I use daily with my meals. I took the napkin and stuffed it into the cup holder and it raised the 6 inch glass about 3 inches and made it very comfortable to remove that short glass from the cup holder.
A small thing? But not to me!
And this showed how God cares about any "small" problem that we have and also shows the wisdom from God to take care of a problem easily in a way we might not have thought of doing!
James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
I rejoice and marvel at the wisdom that comes from God for it is so simple, yet I didn't see it until God showed me the way to go.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Often God delivers us from something or from people that would hurt us spiritually even before we see the way we are going is evil.

Deuteronomy 32:45-47 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel: And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law. For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life:

Moses was said to be the meekest of all men. Moses obeyed the word God spoke to him and therein lies meekness.

Without charity, religious people are often very ridged and cruel

When we understand God choose us and saved us without our being worthy of salvation, we are grateful to God.
But many church goers are not born again and they put themselves into the church group "by their own will." When that happens they think by their own will power they chose God and they reason since they chose God other people can do the same. They don't realize they are not of God but their own salvation is of themselves.
Jude vv. 17-19 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; How that they told you there should be mockers (copiers) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
These church goers are often hard, ridged, even mean toward those who are not church goers.
They lack charity.
Charity is born of our knowing that we didn't deserve salvation and that it was just by the will of God that we are born of HIS Spirit and are HIS children.
I Corinthians 13
1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Charity does not approve sin. Charity speaks truth of God.
But charity also understands salvation is of God and of ourselves we can't be saved.
When God reveals HIMSELF to us and opens our understanding to truth, we are born again.
Salvation is of God and not of our own will.
Therefore we can be kind along with sharing the truth from God. And this is charity. For charity understands salvation is by the will of God and there is nothing man can do to be saved it is simply the will of God that any of us are born again and saved.
God gave us understanding and then we agreed with God.

After we are born again, God establishes us as an holy people to HIMSELF

After God reveals HIMSELF to us, we are born again and changed into a new creation. God gives us another spirit to live in us. We now have the Holy Spirit who leads us in the way of God as we live on this earth.
Usually we then want to read the Bible. We want to be with other people of God. We want to learn things of God. We want to talk about God. We are very different than we were before God revealed HIMSELF to us
II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

In Romans 7, Paul presents several questions concerning what to do about the flesh which would take us in ways opposite to the Spirit of God.
Paul says:
Romans 7
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

In Romans 8, Paul answers the question concerning overcoming our own flesh to serve God.
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For when we do that which the Holy Spirit brings to our mind, we will end up producing the works of the Spirit and will reject the ways of the flesh.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(Each time we choose to go in the way shown us by the Spirit, we keep our own flesh crucified refusing to go the way our flesh wants to go.)25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

In the Old Testament, God chose the nation of Israel to be HIS people and the people vowed that it was true that the Lord was their God.
Here are some interesting declarations:
Deuteronomy 26
Thou hast avouched (affirmed/declared as true) the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in HIS ways, and to keep HIS statutes, and HIS commandments, and HIS judgments, and to hearken unto HIS voice:18 And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be HIS peculiar people, as HE hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His commandments;19 And to make thee high above all nations which HE hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as HE hath spoken.

The children of Israel found their own flesh to fight against the laws of God and they were unable to keep all the laws of Moses as set forth in the Old Testament.
Peter affirms they were unable to keep the Laws of the Old Testament:
Acts 15
6 And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter (of the Gentiles).7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as HE did unto us;9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.10 Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.

So for the Jews and Gentiles in the New Testament church God made another way to worship God by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and HIS blood which was paid for our sins, and then God gave HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, to each child of God so we can serve HIM and honor HIM and follow HIM as we live on this present earth.
As we follow "that word" which is brought to us by the Holy Spirit we fulfill the "law", for the Holy Spirit will not lead us against the heart of God nor against the Holy Scriptures.
Galatians 5
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

The Holy Spirit who lives in each of us who are put into the church by God, leads us in ways which are the ways of God so we end up fulfilling the law by walking in the Spirit, following what the Holy Spirit shows us to do in the specific issues of this present life.
Thus the apostle Paul says:
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Now we have the Holy Spirit in us to teach us and remind us of all that Jesus has said to us in the Bible. As we follow that way of the scriptures, as brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit in the problems of this life, we walk in the Spirit, rejecting the ways of man in the matter at hand.
Now we are servants of God instead of servants of our own flesh and this world.
Romans 6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into HIS death?4 Therefore we are buried with HIM by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

When we belong to God, HE is with us wherever we go.
We have the great advantage that by HIS Spirit God teaches us all things and guides us into all truth and even shows us things to come. (John 14:26 & John 16:13)
The apostle Paul says:
Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us?
Another promise:
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

Many promises from God which are written in the Old Testament Bible apply to us in the New Testament church today: Here is one I have tested and have believed and have acted upon many times in the past.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Our righteousness in the situation is of God because it was the Holy Spirit of God showing us to do what we are doing.
Joshua 1:5 God says: Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

God made promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob concerning the land which HE would give to the children of Israel for their inheritance.
God also set forth for HIS people "rules of war".
Deuteronomy 20 God says
1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
In the New Testament:
II Corinthians 10
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
In the New Testament church our war is a battle of our mind where we have a goal of living in peace but thoughts come to trouble us and we have to make those thoughts conform to that which God has spoken to us by HIS Word.
Troublesome thoughts come by our own flesh and through devils who bring ideas to our mind to cause harm.
But in the case of the wars of the Old Testament compared with the wars we go though today as the New Testament church, one thing is the same: God is always with us to lead us and guide us and we overcome through what God shows us about the battle at hand.
Deuteronomy 20:4 For the LORD your God is HE that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

In the New Testament church, our "enemies" are not flesh and blood but are wicked spirits in high places.
Ephesians 6
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might.11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

This world is not our kingdom. Our kingdom is not that which is seen but that which is unseen.
We know all these things people fight over in this world will be destroyed by God at the end of this world and the only thing that lasts forever is the Word of God which can never be destroyed.
Therefore we invest in that Word of God as we live on this earth.
We are not struggling to get ahead and achieve things on this present earth as the world does.
Our goal is to please God and follow HIM doing HIS will.
God will never fail us nor forsake us and as long as God chooses to leave us on this present earth HE will work things out for us and provide all that we need.
We live by these simple truths:
* Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made HIMSELF of no reputation, and took upon HIM the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, HE humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
We do not have our goal as trying to beat that other person and rise above that other person. For if we do this, we ask for war in our lives.
Our goal is to help the other person, not to out do the other person.
Our goal is to live in peace and keep our mind focused on things above, not on things of this earth.
Our enemy is not that human but wicked spirits. And we deal with wicked spirits by turning to God in prayer and by doing that which God shows us to do.

* Colossians 3
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with HIM in glory.5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of HIM that created HIM:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
(as God had mercy on us and chose us to salvation we have mercy on the unlovely of this world who have not yet been chosen and recreated by God)13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
(charity is not wanting that other person to get what is coming to him ... charity is a desire for that person to be saved instead of destroyed)15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
(We live continually thanking God for that good thing, including people, that HE has put in our lives.)16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
(We don't try to speak, but when the door opens we speak with the wisdom given us by God.)
Having the above goals separates us greatly from the striving this world does to get ahead in this life.

* Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation (manner of life) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

* 1 Timothy 6
1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and HIS doctrine be not blasphemed.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

If we compare ourselves to other people, we open the door for covetousness in our own lives. Avoid doing that.
Instead make our goal to live as God wills in the various parts of our lives, seeking the will of God in all things.
For this present heaven and earth and all that we can see with out natural eye will pass away but that word God gives to us will endure forever!
The Word is worth our life and investment.
If we work to live in these scriptures and we conform ourselves to these scriptures making this our goal in life today, we make a wise investment and through God we will never fail.
Revelation 3:5 Jesus says: He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before HIS angels.
We do not support sin. If the door opens to speak God's word concerning various sins, we speak, telling what God says and suffering the persecution that often comes for the word's sake.
But we make it our goal to live godly lives in Christ Jesus, The Word, as we live on this earth and we must continually do the following to live in peace.
Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
When we live this way, continually talking with God concerning our troubles, the following will come in our lives.
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word).
And when we don't see how we can get through the day ahead of us, we ask God to help us with that day and we ask God to fill our day ... HE will!

David was a man after God's own heart. (Acts 13:22)
God took the Spirit from Saul who was king and gave HIS Spirit to David and God had the prophet Samuel to anoint David as king and God removed Saul from being king.
At one point, David greatly sinned, and David prayed:
Psalm 51
2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.4 Against THEE, THEE only, have I sinned, and done this evil in THY sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.6 Behold, THOU desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part THOU shalt make me to know wisdom.7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which THOU hast broken may rejoice.9 Hide THY face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.11 Cast me not away from THY presence; and take not THY Holy Spirit from me.12 Restore unto me the joy of THY salvation; and uphold me with THY free spirit.

As long as we have living in us God's Holy Spirit, we have what we need to be able to go forward. For it is the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth, teaches us all things, reminds us of all Jesus has said, shows us the will of God, and even shows us that which is to come by the will of God.
John 14:26 Jesus says: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of HIMSELF; but whatsoever HE shall hear (from God), that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.
I Corinthians 2
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM.10 But God hath revealed them unto us by HIS Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

We know we still have the Holy Spirit of Jesus living in us when we witness HIM doing the work of God through us.

We who believe in the resurrection do not sorrow in death as the pagans sorrow.
I Thessalonians 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep.16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Those who die are asleep. And when they are born again they will be raised by Jesus.
We will have new spiritual bodies before we are taken into the new heaven and new earth wherein dwells righteousness.
I Corinthians 15:50-52 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Blink: that is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies.

Revelation 21:1-5 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

We worship God in spirit and in truth in the church today as Jesus said to do.
John 4
19 The woman saith unto HIM (to Jesus), Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

The children of Israel served the Egyptians for 400 years until God brought them out of their bondage.
Deuteronomy 15:15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee:
We once served this world and the ideas and goals of the flesh of man, but God redeemed us also from the bondage of the flesh.
Now we are a new creature, born again by God, and we serve God now doing the will of God.
I Corinthians 6
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Romans 6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into HIS death?4 Therefore we are buried with HIM by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of HIS death, we shall be also in the likeness of HIS resurrection:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with HIM, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with HIM:
Even on this earth today, we live with Christ as we follow the Holy Spirit of God, keeping our flesh crucified, not allowing our flesh to do what it wants to do but causing our flesh to be dead by following that which the Holy Spirit of God brings to our mind in the specific situations of this life.

Before God revealed HIMSELF to us we were in bondage, serving the desires of our own flesh and mind, and serving the god of this present world.
Then when God opened our eyes to HIMSELF we were changed instantly from serving ourselves and this world and we were recreated, born again, as new creatures who now serve God and desire things of God.
Salvation is of God.
God opened our eyes to see and revealed HIMSELF to us showing us truth.
And God changed us.
II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
And we are grateful to God for saving us for we know we didn't do anything to deserve salvation. We are saved by God because it was the will of God for us to be saved.
God opened our eyes to see and gave us understanding concerning things of God and we were born again by God giving us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and to teach and guide us in all things.
From within we are changed by God by HIS Spirit. It is not that we change ourselves by learning but rather God changes us by giving us HIS understanding.
Therefore we continually thank God for saving us!
It is not what we did but what God did.
So instead of being self righteous by our works, our righteousness is of God through His will for us.
Gratitude instead of pride is the fruit when we understand God chose us.
Salvation is of God, not by our own will or works.
God chose us and gave us understanding and opened our eyes so we could see things of God.
When HE caused us to see, we were born again, believing that which HE told us.

Deuteronomy 14:2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto HIMSELF, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
The children of Israel were chosen by God to be HIS people in the Old Testament.
Noah found grace in the sight of God and God saved Noah from the great flood.
Abraham was chosen by God and was given promises concerning the nations that were to come from him.
Genesis 12:1-4 Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.4 So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him;
And God gave promises to both Isaac and Jacob, Abraham's son and grandson.
God spoke to them also and made HIMSELF known.
To Isaac, God said: Go not down into Egypt; dwell into the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; Because that Abraham obeyed MY voice, and kept MY charge, MY commandments, MY statutes, and MY laws. (Genesis 26:2-5)
God revealed HIMSELF to Jacob: And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. (Genesis 28:10-15)
Later Jacob was renamed by God as Israel. HIS 12 sons were the children of Israel, the 12 tribes of Israel.
To Joseph, one of the 12 sons, God revealed HIMSELF by dreams. His brothers hated Joseph because the dreams showed Joseph ruling over them. So they sold Joseph into bondage and Joseph was taken down into Egypt before the great famine came on the earth. God gave wisdom to Joseph and therefore all that Joseph did prospered above all men. Pharaoh saw this and made Joseph a ruler in Egypt, 2nd only to himself.
70 men were the number of the children of Israel who went down into Egypt at the time of the great famine.
The generations of the children of Israel spent 430 years in Egypt and when they were delivered from Egypt by God, their number of men above the age of 20 was 603,550. (Exodus 38:26)
Even under the years of adversity in Egypt, God multiplied them greatly as God said he would do in HIS promises to Abraham.
In all this we see when God reveals HIMSELF to an individual, God becomes their God.

In the New Testament, God chose people to Himself and opened their eyes to see things of God and caused those individuals to be born again and God put HIS name on them and gave each of them HIS Holy Spirit to teach them and guide them and show them things to come. (Jn. 14:26 & Jn. 16:13)
The apostle Peter says:
I Peter 2
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of HIM who hath called you out of darkness into HIS marvellous light:
(We were "chosen" by God for salvation and God "called" us out of darkness by HIS Word and God opened our eyes so we could see the Word of God and we were "born again" by the Spirit of God.)10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
The apostle Paul explains: For HE saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy. (Romans 9:15-16)
God causes us to be born again as HIS own children. We no longer serve this world as we once did but now God frees us so that we can serve HIM. We are delivered by God and redeemed by God by the will of God. God opens our eyes to see things of the kingdom of God. God causes us to believe the Word.
Romans 6
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God speaks to us individually, we are called by God, and changed into new people by God.
The apostle Paul: And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME? (Acts 9:3-4)
Paul was traveling with several men and they saw that bright light and heard a voice speaking from heaven but saw no man and it was Paul (Saul) Jesus called by name.
And Paul explains that Jesus said to him: But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in ME. (Acts 26:16-18)

Joan Boney: I was in my bedroom when God said to me by HIS Spirit: "Joan ... you know all those mistakes you've been making all these years. Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins." (August 5, 1975)
I was changed immediately, born again, chosen by God, even named by name by God.

Pam Padgett: A schoolmate was killed on a motorcycle. When this happened, Pam, for the first time, realized someone her age could die. (God opened Pam's understanding to see this.) Also Pam knew nothing she had learned in the Catholic church could save her. Only God could save her. (God showed her this truth.) So Pam called out to God asking God to save her.
Many people in Pam's circle heard of this boy being killed on a motorcycle but there is no evidence that any of those people understood they could also be killed and only God could save them.
God chose Pam among all those people and God revealed truth to Pam and cause her to turn to HIM.
Salvation is being chosen by God to salvation.
Acts 13:48 and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
God chooses each individual and opens the understanding for that individual and then that individual believes to salvation.
It is not that we choose God but rather God chooses us.
Thus the apostle Paul says:
Romans 9:18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will HE hardeneth.
We are the chosen people of God as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the children of Israel were the chosen people of God.
And God reveals HIMSELF to us who are HIS chosen as HE revealed HIMSELF to those in the Old Testament who are HIS chosen.
Acts 2:47 And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Understanding is from God. God opens our eyes and then we believe and understand. It is not of our own thinking that we understand. God causes us to understand and to believe HIS Word. Thus salvation is of God and we are chosen by God.

I never ask anyone, "Where do you go to church?"
We "are" the church.
In the Old Testament, God said:
Deuteronomy 12:30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
The teacher of our Bible class once said: "Never look into other religions or read about them. Just study the Bible and when a wrong doctrine comes along, you will recognize it as being wrong when you know the real thing from the Bible." I really believe that is the correct approach and that is what I have done for the past 40+ years. I just keep reading the Bible.

Deuteronomy 12:32 God says: What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
There is one doctrine of Christ for the New Testament church and we find that doctrine in the New Testament Bible.

A divorced woman told Pam Padgett that she was Messianic Jew, believing in Jesus.
Then this same woman told Pam that she had a new boyfriend.
Pam explained that as a divorced woman, if she should remarry, she would commit adultery, according to the Bible.
This Jewish woman said, "Oh, we have our own doctrine at our church."
When I heard this story, I shouted out, "There is only one doctrine and that is the New Testament Bible."
I Corinthians 7
10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
39 The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
Romans 7:2-3 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Mark 10 Jesus says:
11 Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

The place where the Lord chooses to put HIS name

Deuteronomy 12:5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put HIS name there, even unto HIS habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:
In the New Testament church today, God chooses where HE will put HIS name.
Acts 2:47 And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
God opens the eyes of those persons whom HE has chosen and gives those individuals understanding causing them to be born again as a new creature, a Christian.
We recognize them by the Spirit of God which is in them for we have that same Spirit in us.
Acts 13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
Salvation is of God, of the will of God.
When God chooses that individual for salvation, God opens that person's eyes and all of a sudden he sees the truth of God.
It is all of God by the will of God.
There can be a group of people sitting together and all of a sudden one in the group sees.
That is the way it was with Paul on the road to Damascus. There were other men traveling in the group with Paul. But it was Paul's life that was changed forever when Jesus spoke from heaven though all the men saw light around them and all the men heard a voice from heaven, but it was Paul who was called by Jesus and changed forever. Jesus even said: "Saul, Saul" ... calling him by name.
Acts 9
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? (Instantly changed.)
And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
We see an instant change in Paul. Paul was enroute to Damascus to try to find Christians so he could bind them and carry them to prison. But when the voice from heaven spoke, Paul was changed immediately from that person that he was before hearing that voice.
There was no learning involved. It was instant change. Paul was born again.
II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

We are not chosen by God because we are worthy. We have done no good work causing us to be chosen by God.
We are chosen by God because it is the will of God for us to be saved and it is the will of God that HIS name would be placed on us by HIS Spirit.

I was reading a book about sin when God spoke to me and said, "Joan ... you know all these mistakes you've been making all these years? Those weren't mistakes. Those were sins."
I was very shocked. And I was changed immediately.
I thought I was changed by that book I was reading so I went to a Christian book store and bought several copies of that book and gave these books to many people thinking they would also be changed as I had been changed.
But it was not that book that changed me. God changed me by HIS own will according to HIS purpose.

If you were saved at the time you heard a preacher, you might have tried to get others to hear that preacher thinking they would be saved as you were.
It was not the preacher who saved us. It was God opening our eyes to HIS truth. We were not saved by our own will. It was God's will for us.
We are the elect, chosen by God, in such cases.
Paul explains this in Romans 9.
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.9 For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son.10 And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac;11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of HIM that calleth;)12 It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger.13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.17 For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew MY power in thee, and that MY name might be declared throughout all the earth.18 Therefore hath HE mercy on whom HE will have mercy, and whom HE will HE hardeneth.

After God chooses to reveal Jesus, the Word, to us from heaven and causes us to be born again, we overcome the problems as we go through this present life by turning to God and hearing from God. We go in the way shown us by God as long as we live on this earth, overcoming the problems through that Word given us by God in the situations of this life.
And Jesus says at the end of our lives on this earth:
Revelation 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of MY God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of MY God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from MY God: and I will write upon him MY new name.

Peter walked on water at the Word of Jesus ... but then when Peter looked at the circumstances, faith failed Peter, but Jesus saved Peter.
Matthew 14
22 And straightway Jesus constrained HIS disciples to get into a ship, and to go before HIM unto the other side, while HE sent the multitudes away.23 And when HE had sent the multitudes away, HE went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, HE was there alone.24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.26 And when the disciples saw HIM walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.28 And Peter answered HIM and said, Lord, if it be THOU, bid me come unto THEE on the water.29 And HE said, Come.
And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth HIS hand, and caught HIM, and said unto HIM, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

The children of Israel disobeyed God and they showed no faith in God, so a penalty came upon them.
Numbers 13
25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.27 And they told him (Moses), and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
(They discounted the strength of God and were looking only at the circumstances which they saw with their natural eyes.)32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
Because of their evil report and disbelief in God, God placed a penalty upon them.
The ones who did not believe would die in that wilderness and would not enter into the land which God promised to Abraham.
Therefore they had to wander in the wilderness for 40 years until all of that generation who showed lack of faith in God had died.

Deuteronomy 2
1 (Moses says) Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea, as the LORD spake unto me: and we compassed mount Seir many days.2 And the LORD spake unto me, saying,3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore:5 Meddle not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.
(to the heritage of Esau)6 Ye shall buy meat of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.7 For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: HE knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years the LORD thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.

God provides for us where HE places us today and we lack nothing as we follow God.
God speaks to us today by HIS Spirit and when we follow that which God tells us, we lack nothing in this present life.
God spoke to me by HIS Spirit in 1975 and caused me to be born again. After that God took me into heaven and merged me into the body of Jesus, causing me to be one with the Word of God. This same thing God did twice, on two separate nights. Then God taught me by HIS Spirit for the next 3 or 4 years and prepared me for the work of the ministry in the offices of apostle and prophet according to Ephesians 4:11-12.
I closed my small business on July 31, 1979, to go into the ministry.
I had no where to go.
I just stayed at home and waited for the next 5 1/2 months.
On the night of January 10, 1980, in the night, what I believe to have been an angel of the Lord, spoke these three words to me: "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"
By this, God put me on radio to exhort the church for the next few years, through 1984.
Then in 2012, God gave me a dream showing me to start a blog. Since that time, to date, we have posted 14,229 exhortations which have gone all over the world with 1,077,117 page views of those exhortations.
Then God gave me a dream leading me to start presenting Podcasts in February, 2020. To date, I have recorded 582 Podcasts with 13,003 downloads.
At every point, God showed me what to do, things I had never before even considered.
Finances were supplied largely by the sale of ministry property no longer needed in Texas.
There is no lack.

Deuteronomy 1
21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.22 And ye came near unto me every one of you, and said, We will send men before us, and they shall search us out the land, and bring us word again by what way we must go up, and into what cities we shall come.23 And the saying pleased me well: and I took twelve men of you, one of a tribe:24 And they turned and went up into the mountain, and came unto the valley of Eshcol, and searched it out.25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth give us.26 Notwithstanding ye would not go up, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God:27 And ye murmured in your tents, and said, Because the LORD hated us, HE hath brought us forth out of the land of Egypt, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us.28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, HE shall fight for you, according to all that HE did for you in Egypt before your eyes;31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,33 Who went in the way before you, to search you out a place to pitch your tents in, in fire by night, to shew you by what way ye should go, and in a cloud by day.34 And the LORD heard the voice of your words, and was wroth, and sware, saying,35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I give the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD.37 Also the LORD was angry with me for your sakes, saying, Thou also shalt not go in thither.38 But Joshua the son of Nun, which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him: for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I give it, and they shall possess it.40 But as for you, turn you, and take your journey into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
(So for the next 40 years they wandered in the wilderness until all those men who doubted had died. After that they crossed over Jordan and entered the land and began to possess the land. But they had to fight for the land.)

I Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Psalm 78
7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep HIS commandments:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
(It is a terrible thing to be armed by God and to turn back in the day of battle.)10 They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in HIS law;11 And forgat HIS works, and HIS wonders that HE had shewed them.

Numbers 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Caleb knew God would cause them to overcome.
Our faith must also be in God and HIS ability and we must depend on HIM as we do our jobs on this present earth!
Joshua 1
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.9 Have not I commanded thee? God has given us HIS Spirit to teach us and guide us and lead us. And we are sealed with that Holy Spirit of Jesus until the day of our redemption.

Possess the land which God has given you

God has given to each of us an assignment to fulfill HIS purpose while we live on this earth.
In the Old Testament, God gave portions of lands to HIS people but they had to go up and possess that land though God had given it to them.
Deuteronomy 1
21 Behold, the LORD thy God hath set the land before thee: go up and possess it, as the LORD God of thy fathers hath said unto thee; fear not, neither be discouraged.

If you are married you have that land to which you tend day and night for the remainder of your life on this earth.
Each of us need God's wisdom to care for our assignment.
And God has promised to us:
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

God has given us all that we need to do that to which HE has assigned us. There is no lack. There is no want.
We are well able, through God, who has given us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and to teach us and to guide us.

I Corinthians 12
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.28 And God hath set some in the church (to care for the church), first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
We are well equipped by God to do all that God assigns for us to do.
