Building your house on the word from God

A shepherd watches carefully over his sheep.  When the pasture is becoming void of good food, that good shepherd moves his sheep to another pasture where there is no lack.
 
Ephesians 3:29  Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
 
Jesus leads us into a more abundant life when we follow what HE tells us by HIS Spirit.
 
John 10:10-11  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
 
There will be no want when we hear instruction from the Spirit of Jesus and when we follow that instruction.
 
Psalm 84:11   For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will HE withhold from them that walk uprightly.

2 And the Pharisees came to HIM (to Jesus), and asked HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting HIM.3And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. (also please see 1 Cor. 6:15-19)9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter.11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.
 
God hates divorce.
 
Malachi 2:16   For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that HE hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.

Mini Podcast: What Jesus says about the time when Jerusalem is compassed with armies (Lk 21:20-22)

When the fighting began in 2021, between Israel and Hamas, I immediately thought of something Jesus said in the Bible.
  
Lk 21:20-22   And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.22  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
 
Two things have to happen before Jesus returns and both things have already happened.
 
* The apostasy must come into the churches where scriptures are cast away or changed or eliminated.  (2 Thess. 2:3-12)
 
*  The gospel must be preached throughout the whole world.  Internet has certainly allowed us to do this through blogs and Podcasts.  (Mt 24:14)

Meditation Scriptures: Promises from God

This Podcast is a recording of various promises from God which are written for us in both the Old and New Testament Bibles.
 
The apostle Peter says:
 
2 Peter 1:2-4   Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,3 According as HIS divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of  HIM that hath called us to glory and virtue:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
 
And in Joshua 1 we read the following promise:  8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
 
Psalm 1 tells the same thing about meditating in the Word of God.
 
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in HIS law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
 
I find these recorded scriptures helpful to use as I am going to bed at night.  Or when I am relaxing from previous work.  Or you might listen to them while taking a bath.  Or you might use this recording of the promises of God when you are in the kitchen.  Or you could use them while driving down the street.
 
Our faith in God is helped as we consider the promises God has given to us in the Bible.

The apostate churches of the end time

Who is antichrist?  Is antichrist one man as churches have taught for centuries?  Does antichrist come through governments of men?
 
The New Testament Bible answers each of these questions.
 
The apostle John spoke of antichrist and explained the following to the church of his time.
 
I John 2:18-19  John said:  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
 
The apostle John has just explained that the last days began immediately after the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.  The antichrists were many in the churches.  
 
When they could not take over the churches, they departed, showing themselves to be antichrist. 
 
Many antichrists set up their own church denominations, departing from many scriptures.
 
The apostle Paul told the elders of the church at Ephesus the following:
 
Acts 20:29-30   For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.  Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
 
Though there were already antichrists in the early church, Paul told them things would get worse before Jesus returned.
 
2 Tim. 3:1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. ... 13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
 
2 Thess. 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
Paul shows us that antichrist comes through the churches as they fall away from scripture and set up other doctrines which are contrary to the doctrines of Christ which are shown us in the Holy Bible.
 
In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the church groups.  The falling away are the church groups leaving the scriptures"
 
This "falling away" by church groups from scriptures has gotten worse and worse through the centuries.
 
The churches today sing songs, and say "Jesus is Lord", and omit portions of NT scripture, and explain away portions of scripture.
 
This is the apostasy, antichrist in the churches in the various denominations of today.
 
This apostasy in the churches had to happen before Jesus could return for the elect of God to take them off this present earth before God destroys this heaven and earth.
 
2 Timothy 4:2-4  Paul speaking to Timothy:  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
 
The apostasy has already happened in the churches all over this world.  Portions of scripture are removed from their doctrines.

God places each of us in the exact place where we are to live and in the exact time we will live there, according to Bible

Acts 17:26  (NIV Original Translation)  HE (God) determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
 
I am persuaded that we are born to the parents that God chooses for us and I know by the scriptures we live in the exact period of time where God wants us and we also live in the exact places selected by God.
 
It is not accidental, nor is it our choice but God's choice for us, that we would fulfil our purpose on this present earth.
 
The following scriptural examples show us God's working in the lives of HIS chosen.
 
Concerning Joseph:  His brothers sold him into slavery when he was 17 years old, and he was taken down into Egypt and became a slave to a captain of Pharaoh's guard.  He put Joseph in charge of all that he had because he saw the Lord was with Joseph and God made everything Joseph touched to prosper.
 
Genesis 39:1-8  And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him, and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand.4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.5 And it came to pass from the time that he had made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that the LORD blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of the LORD was upon all that he had in the house, and in the field.
 
(Abraham was a blessing to all nations because he heard the voice of God and obeyed God.  We, too, are a blessing to all who come in contact with us because we belong to God and hear God and obey God.)6 And he left all that he had in Joseph's hand; and he knew not ought he had, save the bread which he did eat. And Joseph was a goodly person, and well favoured.7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.8 But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
( Then this woman lied concerning Joseph and that caused his master to put him into Pharaoh's prison.)
 
20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.
 
Wherever we are and whatever we do, God gives us favor and causes us to prosper in the place HE has put us at that specific time.  
 
And God moves us from place to place as HE wills.

The righteousness of God is revealed to us from faith to faith

If we never had a problem, would we turn to God?
 
Our faith in God is strengthened from "faith to faith", from problem to problem, for as we turn to God for help and as HE reveals Himself from problem to problem, we put our faith in "that word" which we believe God has said to us.
 
Romans 1:15-17  So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
(Gospel means: God's story)17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
 
When we have a problem, we learn to turn to God for help.  God will, by HIS Holy Spirit, help us, often with a scripture but sometimes with a concept.  And when we believe that which God has spoken to us and act upon that basis, we walk in faith in that which God has spoken, showing we believe we have heard from God.
 
God told Noah that HE was going to destroy this world because of the violence of man.  Then God told Noah to build an ark for himself and his family.  As Noah built that ark, which was specified by God by HIS Word, Noah witnessed of God, as the people saw what he was doing.
 
James 2:20-26 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
 
Faith comes when we hear from God by HIS Holy Spirit.  Our faith is based then upon that word that God speaks to us on the specific issue of this present life.
 
The Holy Spirit of God, who lives in us, brings the word that is from God to our mind in the form of a thought.  By "this word" we have the information we need to make godly decisions in the matter at hand and to go in the will of God in faith with assurance.
 
I Cor. 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

As we walk in the Spirit of God, following God, we produce the fruits of the Spirit of God

When we are born though our parents, we are born in the flesh of man.
 
When we are born again by God by HIS Spirit, we are born in the Spirit of God.
 
The flesh produces the works of the flesh which are these:    Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Gal. 5:19-21)
 
Our flesh leads us to do these things when we follow the desires and will of our flesh.
 
But when we are born of the Spirit of God, we have God living in us, so we can be godly and follow God by HIS Spirit, keeping our flesh under control by choosing to go in the way of the Spirit of God.
 
Gal. 5:22-23   But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
When we follow the Spirit of God we automatically bear the fruits of the Spirit for He is in us and we follow HIM doing HIS works.
 
God gives us "another spirit", changing us from within.  We simply follow HIS SPIRIT, doing what the Spirit brings to our mind.
 
The Holy Spirit of God will never lead us to go in the way of the flesh of man for that is opposite to the Spirit of God and would be destructive for us and for those in our path.
 
As we follow the Spirit of God we are blessings to all persons who come across our path.

Let not your heart be troubled

In April, 2021, a report appeared on CNN which said the earth has shifted on it's axis.  The scientists went on to say this was caused by the changing climate which they said people have caused.
 
Most scientists show they do not know the Bible.
 
Genesis 1:1   In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
 
At one point in time, God brought a flood and destroyed all life on this earth except for Noah and his family and the creatures which were in the ark.
 
After the destruction, God said to Noah.
 
Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
 
And the apostle Peter said this concerning the last days:
 
II Peter 3:1-7   This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
 
At the end of the world, God HIMSELF, will shake the heaven and earth.
 
Isaiah 13:13  (God says)  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.
 
Matthew 24:29-31  
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.31 And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
 
These things will be done by God, not by man.

Speaking the Word of God

14 And king Herod heard of HIM, of Jesus; (for HIS name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do shew forth themselves in him.15 Others said, That it is Elias. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.16 But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he is risen from the dead.17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother's wife.19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever thou wilt, and I will give it thee.23 And he sware unto her, Whatsoever thou shalt ask of me, I will give it thee, unto the half of my kingdom.24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.25 And she came in straightway with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that thou give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

God changes us dramatically from that person we once were

As we live on this earth, God often uses events of this life to make significant changes in us.
 
On television, they were showing a very "great" house which belonged to a famous person.  As I looked at that house on TV, I found I was so glad that I didn't have that house.  How different I am now!  What happened?  
 
God changed my heart!  
 
And I realized that God used an interesting event to change me.
 
In February, 2019, I moved from Texas to Colorado. I put my house in Texas on the real estate market.  It did not sell, though I often asked God to bring a buyer to that house. 
 
For 1 1/2 years it remained on the market.
 
When it did sell, I was so grateful to God that it was "finally" over, for it burdened me when I thought of it before it sold!  Now I was free!
 
Ever since that time, I have had no desire to have the responsibility again of dealing with property.
 
I suspect the delay in the sale of the house was used by God for my benefit to show me how wonderful it is to be free from physical property!
 
God arranged for me to live in the home of one of our church group.  She is truly born again and has the Spirit of God and follows God.  This has been better for me than any previous time of my 83 years of this life!
 
Sometimes when we have gone through a trial, we can look back and see how it helped us to have that trial.
 
Romans 8:28   And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.

Hereby we do know that we know God, if we keep HIS commandments (1 Jn. 2:3)

As we read the New Testament Bible, we see the Word of God which shows us how we, who belong to God, are to live on this present earth.
 
I John 3:24   And he that keepeth HIS commandments dwelleth in HIM, and HE in him. And hereby we know that HE abideth in us, by the Spirit which HE hath given us.
 
When we belong to God, HE gives us HIS Holy Spirit to live in us and to teach us and to guide us.
 
We follow the Spirit of God, walking in HIM as we do HIS instructions.
 
We no longer follow the will of our own flesh as we once did.  Now we follow that which the Spirit of God shows us, walking in the Word of God and walking in the will of God.
 
We keep our flesh crucified with Christ, the Word, as we do the Word, refusing to obey that which our flesh desires.
 
2 Cor. 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
 
Now we are born again by God by HIS Spirit and HIS Spirit lives in us.
 
1 Cor. 3:16   Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
 
It is not that we go to church.  Now we are the church, for God is in us by HIS Spirit and we now follow HIM.
 
Therefore Jesus says to us:
 
John 10:27-30   MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand. MY Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no (none) is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand. I and my Father are one.
 
After we are born again by God and have HIS Spirit, we want to read the Bible.  We want to hear things of God.  We are new creations, created by God by HIS Spirit who speaks God's word to us.
 
I Cor. 6:9-11  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
 
We no longer live the way we once lived.  We no longer desire to do and to say those things we once did and said.  We are now new creatures, created by God by HIS Spirit Who now lives in us.
 
Now we serve God instead of serving ourselves as we once did.
 
We abide in God's Word and we walk in HIS Word, obeying HIM.
 
God changed us.  It is not that we changed ourselves.  God changed us!  Now we are born again by God by HIS Spirit.

The apostle Paul says: If we follow after money we put ourselves at risk

When we allow ourselves to be led by money we often go in the wrong direction and even bring harm upon ourselves and our families.
 
Paul teaches us and warns us:
 
I Tim. 6:5-19  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, (who are) supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
 
 
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

If the unbeliever depart, let him depart

Numbers 33
 
50 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,51 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:55 But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.
 
Often we hold back the word of God because it might offend a neighbor.
 
Let that word of God "prove" the neighbor.
 
Speak the word that is brought to mind by the Holy Spirit when you are with that person.
 
If the neighbor is of God, he will rejoice in that word of God that you speak.
 
If the neighbor is not of God and if he is offended, he will likely depart from your company.
 
But if you try to keep a neighbor in your company when he is doing evil according to God, then he will be as a "thorn in your side" and a "prick in your eyes."
 
So if the Holy Spirit opens the door, speak.
 
And if the unbeliever departs, let him depart.
 
 
II Corinthians 6
 
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
 
2 John vv. 8-11
 
8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
 
James 4:4   Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

The apostle Paul shows us a mystery

I Corinthians 15:51-52   Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
 
When Jesus returns, some of the elect of God will still be alive on this present earth.
 
First, Jesus raises the dead in Christ.
 
Then those who are still alive on this earth will be changed instantly out of these current fleshly type bodies and will be given new spiritual bodies.  It will happen very fast, in the blink of an eye.
 
Blink. That is how fast it will happen.
 
Mt.24:31   And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
 
In their new spiritual bodies, the elect of God will then be raised off this earth and will meet Jesus and the resurrected dead in Christ in the air and we will be taken to the new heavens and the new earth, the new Jerusalem, which is prepared for the elect of God by God.
 
Here are the scriptures telling us about this:
 
I Thessalonians 4:13-17
 
13  But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede/go before) them which are asleep (dead).16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain (on this earth) shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
 
We will then be taken by Jesus to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness, that "new" Jerusalem which is prepared by God for us.
 
Revelation 21:1-5
 
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

When we follow the voice of the Lord our God, all HIS blessings will come on us and overtake us

When we are born again by the Spirit of God, we then have the Holy Spirit living in us to lead us and guide us and to show us the way we are to go in the specific issues of this present life that we may go in the will of God for us in this life.  (Jn. 14:26;  Jn. 16:13;  I Cor. 2)
 
God leads us by HIS Spirit.  God gives us information as we need help.  God shows us what to do.
 
"How?"  you might ask.  
 
God simply brings thoughts to our mind, ideas, scriptures, concepts to show us what to do.
 
"I am the way," says Jesus.  
 
The Word is the way.
 
As those thoughts from God come to our mind, that is "The Word" to us at that point in time.  As we follow that Word that is from God we are blessed by God.
 
March 2020, the Coronavirus raged in the USA.  Businesses closed.  All sporting events were cancelled.  Everything shut down.  Never before had we witnessed anything like this!  And it was all over this world.
 
I had a special problem.  My house in Texas had been on the real estate market for the past 1-1/2 years.  How can I expect it to sell when people all around are terrified over the Coronavirus? 
 
I turned to God asking God this question:  "Is there any thing I should do about that house in Texas."
 
Instantly the Holy Spirit of God brought the following to my mind:  "Put the house on a special sale for 1 week and lower the price."  
 
I called my realtor immediately and told her to do this.
 
The house sold in 2 days.
 
Deuteronomy 28:1-2  And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all HIS commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:  And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
 
Today God speaks to us, HIS children, by HIS Holy Spirit who lives in us.  The Holy Spirit brings ideas from God to our mind.  When we do those things, the blessings of God come upon us and "overtake" us.
 
It is that simple:  Hearing the voice of God as brought to us by the Holy Spirit in the form of those thoughts that come to our mind.
 
And we know the voice of God because it is "pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy."
 
Do you hear the voice of God?  Do you follow the ideas sent to you by God?
 
If you are born again, changed by God into a new creation, you can follow the Spirit of God for HE is in you.
 
God's yoke is easy.  HIS burden is light.  (Mt. 11:30)
 
If the idea is difficult, complex, overly expensive, I always know I have not heard from God.

Jesus says: Beware of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees

Matthew 16:5-7  And when HIS disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.  And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
 
11  Jesus says:  How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that HE bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
 
Jesus says this is a sign of the end times:
 
Mt. 24:3-5   And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto HIM privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
 
(These deceivers will come into the church saying, "Jesus is Lord", and because they say that, the church will accept them.  Then they will deceive many in the church."
 
 
Paul instructs Timothy:
 
2 Tim. 4:2-4   Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
 
The apostle Paul says:  The churches will fall away from scripture and the man of sin, antichrist, will come into the churches and set up his own doctrine, casting aside the doctrine of Christ of the NT Bible.
 
2 Thess. 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scripture."
 
Antichrist is in today's church groups as they have omitted certain scriptures and set up doctrines of men for their congregations to follow.  This has been going on since Paul and John lived on the earth, but it is much worse now and will continue to get worse and worse, until Jesus comes to deal with antichrist.

God makes provision for HIS people

Romans 12:1-2   I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
 
We who believe in God, must be diligent to cling to truth of the Bible.
 
Therefore when we hear someone on TV speak that which is contrary to Bible, it is important for us to renew our mind to the truth from the Bible.  For that which is false could go down into our heart and at some point deceive us.
 
Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness HE called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
 
God created the solar system to remain in place until HE commanded otherwise.
 
God said:  Genesis 8:22  While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
 
God keeps everything in place until the end of the world when God brings forth a new heaven and a new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  God will remove us from this present earth before God  destroys this current heaven and earth by fire.  
 
We know these things because the Bible tells us this and it is the Word of God, the truth. Therefore we have an anchor for our soul whereby we can live in peace regardless of that which the people of this world say.
 
This present heaven and earth will be destroyed by God in the last days.  But God has made a provision for us, a new heaven and a new earth, and we will be removed from this earth and taken to the new heaven and new earth before this earth is destroyed by God.
 
2 Peter 3:10   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
 
We live on this earth in peace.  Then at some point, God will move us off this earth and take us to the new heaven and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.
 
Because of that which is written in the Bible, The Word from God, we know these things.

Exhort one another and even more as you see the day of the Lord approaching (Heb. 10:25)

Are we drawing nearer to the return of Jesus, "the day of the Lord"?
 
Do we see increased wickedness in this world today?  Do we see churches fall away from scripture and set up other doctrines which makes them "antichrist", the apostate church of the end times?
 
(Every church I've tried to attend since 1980, has omitted teachings on divorce & remarriage, and homosexual & lesbian, and antichrist in the end times.)
 
As we see an increased wickedness of this world and an increase in churches omitting scripture and setting up other doctrines in the churches, we see the day of the Lord approaching.
 
In the following scripture we read:
 
Hebrews 10:25  Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?30 For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto ME, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people.31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
 
So in the Bible, we are instructed to "exhort" one another even more as we see the day of the Lord approaching.
 
(Exhort means:  to urge earnestly by advice and warning)
 
It is not that we speak too much, as devils would tell us.  But rather we need to speak even more godly things to edify the church in the last days.
 
(Paul once spoke till midnight to that church group.  Acts 20:7)
 
So we speak and don't hold back!

Jesus says: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God

Unless you are born of God's Spirit, changed by God into a new creature, you cannot see things of God.
 
I Cor. 2:14  The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
 
Jesus says:  Jn. 3:3   Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
 
5-6  Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.  That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
 
When we enter this world as little babies, we are born of the flesh of man with a fleshly resemblance to our parents and relatives.
 
When we are born of the Spirit of God, we are then like the Spirit of God, and we can understand things of God by HIS Spirit who dwells in us.
 
And as we follow that which the Spirit of God brings to our mind, we produce the fruits of the Spirit of God.
 
Gal. 5:22-23  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
 
It is not that we learn to do the fruits of the Spirit.  We do the fruits of the Spirit because the Spirit of God who now lives in us is showing us what to do and we follow HIM, doing that which HE shows us to do.
 
 
John 3:4  Nicodemus saith unto HIM, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
 
When we are born again by God by HIS Spirit, we are instantly changed into another person, born again.
 
II Cor. 5:17  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
 
God reveals Himself to us and we are instantly changed.  
 
We are no longer like we once were.  Now we have the Spirit of God in us to lead us in things of God.  Now we want to read Bible and now we want to go to church and hear things of God.  And we want to be with people of God instead of being with those people of the world where we were before.
 
I Cor. 6   Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
 
Most people in church groups are not born again.  They went to church and joined the church but they were not changed by God instantly into another person.  They just tried to be godly.  They learned by their own flesh at church.  They tried to copy other people at church. They are imitations of people of God.  They are not of God for to be of God you must be born of the Spirit of God.
 
Many ministers do not have the Spirit of God.  They just put themselves into the ministry by their own will by going to Bible school or seminary.  They are not really called by Jesus and set into the ministry.
 
Those who are born of the Spirit of God, are taught by God.

For I know WHOM I have believed

God is our teacher.  By HIS Spirit we are taught all things of God.
 
II Timothy 1:12-14   For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that HE is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day.13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
 
It is God who chose us to salvation to be the elect of God.  It is God who changed us into a new creature after we were born again and God who gave us His Holy Spirit to live in us and created us in HIS own image.  God causes us to live in peace, love, joy, and in all the fruits of that Holy Spirit of God.
 
Gal. 5:22-23   The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
 
As we follow the Holy Spirit of God, these fruits of the Spirit manifest themselves in us and we end up fulfilling the law of God as we walk on this earth.

When churches change the doctrine of Christ in the Bible to their own preferences

2 Timothy 4:2-4  The apostle Paul says:  Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
 
A few years ago, on a national TV newscast, they showed the man who was Catholic pope at that time, and they were asking him about homosexuals, and he said, "I don't see anything wrong about being homosexual."
 
I screamed out!  "What about the Bible?"
 
Romans 1:26-28   For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
 
Another example:  A church woman, who was divorced and wanted to remarry, went to a pastor to ask him if she, as a divorced woman, could remarry.  The pastor said:  "I don't see anything wrong with a divorced woman remarrying.  My sister is divorced and she remarried."
 
What about the Bible?  What does the Bible say about this?
 
I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
 
39  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
 
Romans 7:2-3   For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved

When a problem comes, those persons who ask God what to do will overcome on this earth.
 
Those people who try to ignore the problem, or who run to other people, telling others their problems, will not overcome on this earth.
 
When we have a problem or a concern, what are we as Christians supposed to do?
 
Philippians 4:6  Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (The Word).
 
Acts 2:19-21   God says:
 
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

When these things happen, some will run into their house to be safe.  Others will run to friends.  Some will try to forget that which is happening by watching TV or reading a book.
 
Those who stop and fall down before God, doing nothing but depending totally on God, will be saved.
 
It is the same with the problems we encounter daily.
 
We can try to forget that problem by soaking ourselves in TV.  But those who cease all their efforts and fall down before God in prayer, committing their fears and concerns to God, and waiting on God, will be saved from the problem.
 
A woman told me of the following dream:  She and her husband were going out to buy a TV.  She was at the car waiting for him when all of a sudden the sun turned totally dark!  She started to run back into their house.  But then she realized that wouldn't do any good. She just fell down on her knees.
 
In the mid-80's, I had the following dream: The earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  The government was meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done.  (Nothing can be done by men for this was of God.)  A TV newscaster was trying to give a report about the event but he was so frightened that he just stopped talking and walked out of the studio in the middle of the broadcast.
 
Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of His fierce anger.

Jesus says: But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me

After we are born again, the Holy Spirit will remind us of things of God, and as we speak those things we are witnesses to Jesus.
 
Many times, throughout the years of our lives, the Holy Spirit reminds us of things and that is when the power of God is there.
 
Jesus says:
 
Acts 1:8   But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto ME.
Years ago, I was at a copy store.  An elderly man came up to me and said, "Little lady.  You didn't happen to park behind that green and gold car did you?"  
 
"No sir," I replied.
 
Then he said, "That's a Baylor car."  (Green & gold are the colors of Baylor University, a Baptist college in Texas.)
 
"OK."  I replied.
 
Then he said, "You don't happen to be a Christian do you?"
 
I excitedly replied, "OH YES, I am!"
 
He said, "Oh, heck.  I just joined the witnessing class at First Baptist Church and you are the first person I have chosen to witness to."
 
The power to be a witness is very different from trying to witness.
