Matthew 6: How is it possible to take no thought for your life?

Jesus says:
Matthew 6
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

II Thessalonians 2: Antichrist comes into the church before the return of Jesus

In 1982, God called my attention to the writing of the apostle Paul concerning antichrist, and where Paul spoke of the "falling away" that must come before Jesus returns, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches but the falling away are churches departing from portions of scripture."
The in 2016, God expanded this concept by telling me, "The restraint against antichrist was the scriptures.  When churches removed scriptures and set up another doctrine, this opened the way for antichrist to move into the churches."

Is God our help? If so, let us call on God!

Hebrews 13:5 ...Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for HE (God) hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
God will not fail us ... call on God when you are concerned or fearful.
We have a power the world does not have.  We have the great power of God.  And with God, nothing is impossible.
We have access at all times to the wisdom that is from God.
This is a promise of God to HIS children:
James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
By HIS Spirit, God brings thoughts to our mind to show us what to do in the issues of this present life.
As we do those things shown us by God, the problems begin to unravel and vanish.
God knows exactly what will work for us.  And God knows the future and how to set us up for those things ahead.
All we have to do is turn to God, asking HIM for help ... and then follow those ideas which God sends to our mind by HIS Spirit.
The knowledge of how God works does help us also.

Hasn't Coronavirus awakened you to your way of life?

How can you not be different in your plans for going forward in view of what you have seen in the Coronavirus?  Are you still going to live in debt?  Are you still taking out as big a mortgage as you can get?  If so, you don't get it yet.
If we live in the way of this world, we will go down with this world.
Freedom is to "use this world but not abuse this world."  The way of debt is an abuse along with this world.
If we are to live in peace, we are going to have to live another way.

Joshua 1: Meditating in Word of God gives us the power to do the Word of God and to overcome our own flesh!

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
By meditating in the Word of God, we gain the power needed to do the specific scriptures.
We must keep those scriptures before us day and night, checking ourselves to see if we are really doing those scriptures.  Every night, I look at those portions of scripture whereby God is reconstructing my life at this current time.
I examine myself by those scriptures to see if I did those scriptures that day.

Psalm 5: God's view of wickedness

Isaiah 5: When a person calls evil "good"

Ephesians 3: The "power of God" that works in us

20 Now unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
I've often heard people ask, "What is that power that works in us?"
That "power" is the Holy Spirit given to the believer at the time God reveals HIMSELF to that believer.
The Holy Spirit in us is a great power:
* He teaches us all things.
* He reminds us of that which Jesus has said to us.
* He guides us into all truth.
* He shows us things to come.
(John 14:26 & John 16:13)
He usually leads us by bringing thoughts or concepts to our minds.
He searches the heart of God to show us the will of God in the specific issues of this life.

Acts 26: Receiving specific instructions from God

When we are called by God to be a minister of Jesus Christ, God also teaches us what we are to say and do.  We don't learn to be a minister of God by hearing from other men.  We don't learn to be a minister of God by going to a seminary.  Neither do we copy other men. 
Like the apostle Paul, we learn directly from God.
I John 2
20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.27 But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.

I Corinthians 2: The Holy Spirit knows the heart of God on the matter concerning us

Jesus always heard from God, the Father, and we should also.
Jesus said:  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.  John 5:30
We hear from God the Father by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, who does the following by bringing thoughts to our minds:  teaching us all things, reminding us of all Jesus has said, guiding us into all truth, showing us things to come.
 The Holy Spirit in us is the great power of God, who continually searches the heart of God to reveal the will of God to us so we can know what to do on this present earth in the issues of this life.
I Corinthians 2, is a major teaching concerning the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.

Psalm 7: Calling on God to judge us, showing us HIS view

8 The Lord shall judge the people: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.

Our righteousness is according to that which God told us to do or led us to do.  When we do that, then our righteousness is of God for it was God who authored that which we have done or have said.
Isaiah 54:17   ... Their righteousness is of ME, saith the Lord.
Was it God who told me to say that thing?
Was it God who told me to do that thing?
Sometimes we are absolutely certain it was God who authored that which we said or that which we did.
Other times we might not know for sure.  Then we can pray, asking God to judge us and asking God to make it clear to us.
I Peter 5:6   Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time:

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Proverb 3: The WORD frees us from fear

25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.26 For the Lord (the Word) shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Jesus says:
John 10:10   The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Jesus is The Word.
The Word comes to our mind by the Holy Spirit to show us what to do in each issue of this present life so we can go in the will of God in the matter at hand.
Fear strikes.  We cry out to God for help.  God uses the Holy Spirit who is in us to bring to our mind scriptures or concepts to fight that fear and to give us faith in God.  And also God uses the Holy Spirit to show us what to do to handle the situation where there is fear.
Therefore in all things we have the mighty Spirit of God to guide us in each issue of this present life.

Matthew 11: Inappropriate reactions

16 But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,
17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. 
(Their actions and responses are inappropriate to the situation.) 
18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.
19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. 
But wisdom is justified of her children.

II John: Receiving a full reward

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Trying the spirits to see if thoughts are from God

God sends thoughts to us by the Holy Spirit to show us what to do ... thoughts also comes from our own fleshly desires and from devils.  Therefore we must determine the spirit that the thought comes from before we follow that spirit.
I John 4:1   Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: 
Don't be afraid.  God can make it clear to us when we belong to HIM.
It seems to me that so often when we are trying to rush to get an answer, the wrong spirit jumps in to help us.
We have to learn to trust God, and to relax, and to know that God can and will help us.  And then wait until the answer comes and even, if needed confirm the source of that answer through prayer.

The devil as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour

I had been speaking about antichrist come through individuals in churches and I was making a recording, and the thought came, "You're wrong. Antichrist doesn't come through humans."
God reminded me of following scripture:
I John 2
18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

The Bible shows us antichrist coming through people in the church even in the days of the apostle John.
The object of antichrist is to cause us to depart from the Word of God and to set up doctrine contrary to the Word of God.  
The object of the devil is to destroy the people of God, if we allow ourselves to be destroyed, following destructive thoughts of devils and our own flesh.
Therefore the apostle Paul instructs:
II Corinthians 10
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
(Making every thought obedient to Christ, THE WORD.)
As long as we live on this earth, we must deal with every thought to make that which "we think" conform to the Word of God, casting all thoughts contrary to the scriptures from us, establishing the truth and what we believe by the scriptures by the Holy Spirit of God.

Two things had to happen before the coming of Jesus. They have both already happened. We must be near.

Before the great tribulation and the coming of Jesus, the following two things had to happen.  They have both already happened!
*  The apostasy in the churches.
II Thessalonians 2
KJV   
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;  (Churches had to fall away from scripture and set up other doctrines.)
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
 
NASB
3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
This falling away, apostasy, has already happen in the churches qnd continues to happen and will happen until Jesus returns and the great tribulation of God comes upon this earth.

Before God destroyed Sodom, homosexuals were in every quarter of the city and came out to have sex with the two angels which God sent to destroy Sodom

The wrath of God, the great tribulation, is coming upon this world because of the increase of evil in this present world.  The evil we see today is a sign showing us the closeness of the coming of Jesus and the wrath of God that will come at the end of this present world. 
No man knows exactly when the great tribulation will come or when Jesus will return to gather the elect from off this present earth, but we have signs.
When we see the leaves appear on the trees don't we know spring is upon us?
Jesus explains to us in Luke 21, that it will be the same today.
As the wickedness increases around us and men approve wickedness, this signals the pending wrath of God that will come upon this world.
One of the signs is increase of homosexuals, as it was in the day of Sodom before God destroyed Sodom.  (Genesis 19)
What God says in Bible about homosexuals and lesbians:
Romans 1:26-27 ... For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
So we know this is one of the sins which brings the wrath of God in the destruction at the end of this present world.  As we see the increase of this sins, we can know the wrath of God is not far away.

Before God destroyed the earth in the days of Noah, the violence of man was very great

Genesis 6:12-13 ...   And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.
But God looked on Noah and had respect toward Noah and saved Noah and his wife and his sons and his sons' wives and many animals.
Violence is often cloaked under the guise of "good".  But God sees the truth.
Today we see great violence in the heart of humans as policemen wrongly kill other men, and as protesters fail to allow God to judge the evil actions of men, and as men with violence in their hearts take to the streets in various cities and some loot businesses and do many additional evils.
It turns out that all are evil for even the ones who think they are doing good by protesting, fail to trust God ...
Romans 12:18-19 ... If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.
Therefore the police who kill wrongly show they are "antichrist"... and the protesters who go forth with wrath show they are "antichrist" as they fail to follow scripture.  
These happenings warn us today that we are racing toward the great tribulation which God will bring at the end, on all people on this earth who do wickedness.

That which Bible says is coming concerning money in the last days

Ezekiel 7:19   They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Luke 21   The powers of the heavens will be shaken ... before Jesus returns ...
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
(Hasn't Coronavirus helped us to see how it will be possible for such things to happen to the whole earth and lives to change on this earth?)
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
 So how should we live between now and the time the sun turns dark in the middle of the day and the powers of heaven are shaken ... How does money fit in to all these things?

People want a sure thing ... but our faith in that which God tells us is that sure thing!

Pam Padgett, put her car up for sale.  Her friend was interested in buying Pam's car.  The friend borrowed the car and took it to her mechanic to examine the car.  That seemed so strange to me for she knows Pam well and should know Pam would conceal nothing from her concerning the car.  Further she knew Pam took good care of the car through the years and the car was priced at a low price for the quality of the car, $6,500.  A new car of the same model and equipment would cost $55,000.
The people who bought my house in Texas wanted a sure thing so they hired a man to inspect the house.  They seemed to need a guarantee from another human.  The inspector found a few very minor things wrong at the house.  (He was being paid to find things wrong, so of course he had to find things wrong to justify the amount he was being paid by the buyers.) The buyers could have fixed these things themselves but they wanted me to fix them. 
So I just added $7,000 to the price of the house to allow me to fix these things.  I didn't know how much it would cost, so I had to guess at the cost, and I raised the price of the house to cover the cost.
It ended up costing less than $3,000 to fix the items.  The buyers could have saved $4,000 by just fixing these things themselves.
Being wise in your own eyes can cost you money.  But this is the way people of this world live.
Also the people who bought my house wanted a "warranty" which cost $600.  I added this to the cost of the house and these people ended up paying for that warranty themselves.
Recently I had some sound materials added to a car.  They tried to charge me $700 for insurance on the speakers.  I told them I did not want that insurance.  The way I live is this:  If I can afford to replace the item. I don't buy insurance.  If I cannot afford to replace the item, then I will consider insurance, such as on a house or medical supplement.  I had difficulty in getting the store manager to remove the insurance from the cost of the project.  But I insisted and he removed the insurance.
We had exactly the same problem when we purchased the car.  They wanted to add an extended warranty.  We insisted that they remove this.  They really fought us.  But we did get it removed.  The dealer must make a great deal by getting people to buy these "warranties".
Pam's neighbor, Jim, a retired Marine, bought warranty on his house but he could never get them to fix anything.  When it broke, they just said, "The warranty does not cover that."
I manage to have money left over after purchasing something and I keep that money in my savings and pay for the item, if something goes wrong.  I find it is less expensive for me to do it that way.
But I find the people of this world usually want this world to protect them.  And often it ends up costing them more than it would have cost if they had just saved money to replace that item after the lifetime of the item.
Also when something goes wrong, the company issuing the "insurance" sometimes files bankruptcy if there are too many claims and they don't cover the warranty anyway.
It is better to trust in God than to put your trust in humans.
I like to be sure God is showing me to make "that" purchase.  That is my peace.  But this world has no peace in God.  Their peace is in their plans.  It is a very hard way of life.

Is it a need to forgive ... or a need to free yourself from that person?

Some people keep trying to forgive a rebellious person when what they really need is to avoid that person, especially if that other person identifies himself as a Christian while he disobeys God by rejecting scripture.
Titus 3
10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.
God teaches HIS people by HIS Spirit.  If a person says he is a Christian but he is "ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth", that person is not being taught by God.
You can't help that person.
All we can do is warn him once or twice, and then leave him alone, don't try to keep teaching him, for if you keep doing this, he will eat you alive by his disobedience.
I once said to my mother:  "You can go down.  But I won't go with you."
My mother then straightened up and began agreeing with scripture and stopped doing that which had been against scripture and she was born again.
We must not continue teaching them when they have rejected the scriptures.

They speak of their own works while we should speak of God's works

Antichrist comes speaking of the works he is doing ... But I show them the works God has done through giving me HIS instructions.
When I examine them, they can't tell me "how" God told them to do the work they are doing.  God didn't tell them to do that work.  It is a work out of their own fleshly imagination.  People are rampant in doing works for God, works dreamed up by their own fleshly minds.
Jesus says:   
Matthew 7
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Keeping ourselves ready for the return of Jesus

Jesus says:   Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.  Luke 21:36
Before Jesus returns, the powers of heaven will be shaken.  There will be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars.
Luke 21
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
To be ready for this, the apostle Peter tells us the following:
II Peter 3:14   Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
