Twice in March 2020, God opened my eyes to see what scripture meant.  I had read these two sections of scripture for decades without understanding.  Then God allowed me to understand.  That is the way it is sometimes with Bible.  One scripture is in Old Testament and the other in New Testament.  What God showed me is revealed in this Podcast.

Mistakes are actually sins showing us we failed to pray or we followed the wrong spirit.

All mistakes are sins.  We forgot God in doing that which we did.  For had we consulted with God in prayer and had we waiting until God gave us a word showing us what to do, then we would not have made that mistake.
Ideas come to us from our own flesh and desires of our flesh ... Ideas come from devils who want to destroy us ... Ideas comes from God.
We have to choose which way we will go.

To go forth after Coronavirus, you must be prepared to follow the Spirit of God, for things will be different.

Coronavirus was like a nuclear explosion over the entire world, changing lives completely. Things in the future will be very different.
When we step out of our houses after Coronavirus ends, safety for us, will be in our seeking God and following that which God shows us.  For it will be very different.
It sort of reminds me of the pictures we have seen of bombings of cities in WWII.  People are shut up inside during the bombings.  When they come out after the "all clear" signal, they are shocked to see many of the buildings they once knew are gone.  It is a completely different world and requires a different way of life to survive in the rubble.
If you know how to follow God and you do "that", you should be fine even in the changes.
There is no reason to waste energy complaining over the difference, for it will be different from before.  Just seek God and go that way!

Is there any scripture in the New Testament which encourages the divorced woman to remarry?

Today divorced women in churches often look for men to marry.  They even attend singles classes at churches to try to find husbands.
The Bible presents several scriptures in the New Testament which shows us that the divorced woman commits adultery if she remarries.
But is there any scripture which encourages a divorced woman to think she can remarry after divorce?
We must learn to set our goals for this life based upon that which the Bible says in the New Testament by the Spirit of God which shows the will of God for this present life.

Christians starting the race, but then fogetting to seek God along the way

Many start the race but few finish.
Along the way, other things become more interesting to some church people than the Word of God, or things can become more important to them, and their love of God and their love for the Word of God grows cold and they no longer want to read the Bible or spiritual blogs.
When this begins to happen we must recognize it quickly and pray:  God, please help me.  Please don't let me grow cold to YOU or to the Word.  Please give me the spark I need to cause that fire for the Word to light in my heart.  Please don't let me be swept away.
I believe this is something that happens to all at various points in life.
We have to fight for faith at that point in time.  And a starting place is prayer.
Jesus warned:  And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (for the Word of God) shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.  (Mt. 24:12-13)
The honeymoon is great!  But life destroys some marriages.  We have to work to keep that fire for the Word of God burning within us as long as we live on this present earth.

Trusting in the living God instead of in uncertain riches

Things can change very rapidly in this present world.  In the Bible, the apostle Paul warns us to put our trust in God rather than in "uncertain riches."  (I Timothy 6)
Can you trust in the unseen, instead of in the seen? 
In the end, everything we can see with our natural eyes will be destroyed.  
If we trust in any human or in a government of men, we put ourselves in great risk.  Some are trusting in their church group and think they are trusting in God.  Usually those who are trusting in their church group tell other people about that church group.  When we speak with other people are we telling them about the living God and what God has done?  Or are we speaking about a minister or a church group?
There is still time to make an adjustment, at least I think so, although unexpected things are happening rather rapidly.

Do we have to go to a church building or a prayer room at a church building to pray?

During the Coronavirus news information of early March, 2020, a report came on CNN concerning closings of schools, businesses, museums, and church buildings.  The news announcer said, "So you will just have to pray "at home".
I laughed ... for to me, you pray to God wherever you are.
Later I recalled a time, before I was born again, when one of my friends was diagnosed with terminal cancer.  I must have thought I had to go to a church building to pray for Betty because I went to a chapel at First Methodist Church in Dallas.  Betty died.
I suspect many people, before they are born again, think they must go to a specific place to seek God or to pray.
Consider what Jesus said in the Bible.

He who endures to the end

It is not a matter of starting the race.  We have to endure to the end.  Jesus says: Matthew 24 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Who are the really godly people?

In the United States today, there are millions of people who identify themselves as Christians. But who are the really godly people?  Are you one of them?  If so this Podcast is for you, to help you.
People in churches today often think nothing will happen to them because they attend church.
They should learn from the examples in the Old Testament where God raised up destroyers against the children of Israel because they refused HIS word and set up idols to worship instead of worshipping the Word of God.
This time when the judgments come from God, it will be the end of this present world and terrible sights.  (Revelation 8-16)

Give yourself to reading, to exhoration, to doctrine

As the wickedness of the world and the churches increases, we know we draw nearer to the return of Jesus. If you work at a secular job, you will be exposed to many concepts contrary to Bible. This world loves to be wise in it's own eyes. You have to uproot those spots that come from worldly sayings of men and bring spiritual contamination. We also encounter such on our television programs. We must be alert and cleanse ourselves from these spots of this world. 
The apostle Peter told us to do the following as we wait for Jesus.
Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.  II Peter 3:14
If we do this, we should be ready for Jesus when HE returns.

Is Coronavirus the beginning of sorrows. The time comes that God brings HIS judgment upon the evil.

Coronavirus does not fit the woes brought upon this world in the great tribulation described in Revelation 8-16,  But this plague might be part of "the beginning of sorrows".
Jesus said:  Matthew 24:6-8  And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation (perhaps WWII), and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.All these are the beginning of sorrows.
We have to consider time in the sight of God is different from time in the humans concepts.
II Peter 3:8   But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
This explains how WWII could have fit into this "beginning of sorrows" that was to come before the great tribulation, for in God's sight it has been a "blink of the eye" in time between WWII and now.
The apostle Paul said Jesus could not return until the apostasy came into the New Testament churches.  (II Thessalonians 2   NASB)  We are seeing that now!    
The KJV says same thing but refers to the apostasy as "the falling away".  Churches would fall away from scripture.
This sets the stage for the return of Jesus.
Also the increase of wickedness is a sign preceding the wrath of God that is to come upon the whole world in the great tribulation.
We often think, "It can't get worse," only to see an increase in vileness of humans on this present earth.
All this points to the coming of Jesus as HE will gather HIS church and take the godly to the New Jerusalem which God has prepared for them who love HIM.
But all who do wrong will be judged by God for the wrong they are doing, even when that person says he is a Christian.  So beware!

Buried with Christ. Raised with Christ

Dead to sin and alive to God, after we are born again.  We are created as new creatures by the Spirit of God after we believe the Word of God.  Nothing equals this.  Nothing we can obtain or attain to on this earth can equal being born again and having the Spirit of God in us.  All Christians are sealed with the Spirit of God after they believe, according to Ephesians 1.  This Podcasts shows moments in life with the Spirit of God.

Dealing with the idols in the churches today

The New Testament church began with the resurrection of Jesus.  Jesus called HIS ministers: "apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers."   
Paul is an example of one of the first of these New Testament church ministers appointed to the church after Jesus arose.  (Ephesians 4:11-12)
Idols were added to the churches as something for the people to use in worship, much as the golden calves were used as idols in the Old Testament for the people to worship.
So ministers were set up by men to be worshipped and they were called, "Reverend", priests, pope, archbishop, cardinal, and such, none of which were in the New Testament Bible.
("Priest" is Old Testament.  No minister in New Testament church in the NT Bible is called "priest.")
People were also taught many things to do at church which were not in the New Testament Bible.
And we have what we see today in churches.  All manner of idols.
God will strongly deal with these idols when Jesus returns.  In the meantime, we who are of God, must turn from idols in today's New Testament churches.
First, we have to learn to recognize these idols.

The joy of the Lord is your strength

The Internet went off a few days ago and it was like life as I know it ended.  What would I do all day?  Then I remembered to pray, "Lord, please fill my day!"  I thought of how terrible it will be in the days of the great tribulation when these things that run our lives disappear.  Those on this earth will be frantic.
A few days later, I awoke and was praying, "God, please fill my day with joy."  And I heard, "The joy of the Lord is your strength!"  
The Lord is The Word.  When the Holy Spirit brings us a word, that "Word"  is joy and strength and comfort and peace.

Staying on the Highway of God

God has a road for each of us to take!  We drive onto that road when we hear a word from the Holy Spirit of God and do that instruction.  And we stay on that road by continuing to do that instruction.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  Romans 8:14

I don't do works of God unless God shows me to do that work

When God authors a work of God, I've always found the money is there do to that work.  I do not do works from my own ideas or my own conjurings.  I have to hear from God to do that work before I do that work. 
In the day of judgment there will be a very severe penalty upon those persons who come saying they have done a work when that work was not authored by God.  (see: Matthew 7:21-23)
Therefore we must be very careful to see that those works we do for God on this present earth are actually authored by God.

Re-evaluation of goals and plans based on Coronavirus

Are you a truly godly person?  Or do you just attend church?   Do you really seek God and live by a Word which God has given to you by HIS Spirit?  If so, what is that most recent Word which has been given you by God?
This Coronavirus gives us a good opportunity to consider that which we are doing and that which we are planning to do in future.

Coronavirus Report #2: Devil comes to steal the word of God

When God gives us a direction or information, it is not unusual for the devil to come immediately to steal that which God has given to us.  Opposition may come by a thought to cause us to doubt.  Or a human might be carrier of the contrary information to stop us.  Regardless, we must learn to hold fast to that original word which we believe to be from God, settling ourselves by turning to God and asking HIM to establish that which HE wants us to do in the matter at hand.  
By turning to God and holding fast to that which God says to us, we "Fight the good fight of faith."
Whatever God has said to us, the devil says the opposite.  And we have to choose!

Dealing with the economic consequences of Coronavirus

What do we do now?  How do we go forward in life from this point?  How do we even think to go forward?
What we can expect to see:  It is likely few things will be as they were before the Coronavirus.  So what is the safe path for us?
In the Bible, we saw disasters happen:  In each case, the people of God did the same thing and it worked.

Coronavirus Report #1: Encourage yourself in the Lord.

Trials of faith and discouragements come as a way of life and sometimes we have these come because we have spoken the word of God.  
Peter says:  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:  But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.  I Peter 4:12-13
Prayer, asking God for help, is one of the key things in the midst of stabilizing yourself.
These battles over faith happen to each of us.  God, by HIS Spirit, stabilizes us in such time when we turn to HIM for help.

Which sins did your preacher speak about today?

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ( I Corinthians 6:9-10)
So here we are on another Sunday morning where you go to church and your preacher warns you to help you to get ready for the coming of Jesus so you can examine yourself?
Surely Jesus must be coming soon.  Aren't we experiencing world wide pestilence?  and wickedness?  Those are two signs for us that Jesus is standing there waiting for God to tell HIM, "Go!"
Isn't your preacher warning you at your church?  or are you just singing and trying to be happy and trying to attract more people to come and sing with you?

Jesus made Himself of no reputation

Most of our lives on this earth, we strive to make a "name" for ourselves.  Our entire education program from childhood teaches us to rise to the top of the class.  This strife goes on to whatever we do in life, in jobs, in homes, wherever we are the goal is often to "be the best".  In works of the flesh, this is called "emulations".  The way of God is so often opposite to the way of humans.

Keeping the Holy Spirit of God from speaking at the gathering of the church

The apostle Paul tells us what we are to do when we come together as the church:
I Corinthians 14:26   How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.
The gathering of the church was to be open for the Holy Spirit to speak through whom HE wills.
But today churches are set up to stop anyone from speaking other than men who are approved by themselves.
Even Jesus couldn't speak at most of these church groups today because they have been set up to stop all but those approved by themselves from speaking.
This is not the way God set up the New Testament churches.
